As much as I bash Disney (then and now), Touchstone did a lot of quality films, especially in the 80's and 90's. They did lose their way by the 2010's, though.
Hostile Hostages with that comedian called Dennis Leary. I do remember renting the film out and enjoying the movie, but I haven't seen that film in long time. The earlier days when Touchstone launched in the UK, you got the small box releases on rental. Country was one of the films I saw in the cinema that measured up to Rydell's 1984 Universal film The River with Gibson and Speacik. I liked Country with added bonus of Wilfred Brimley added into the mix. Off Beat was another early Touchstone title that came under the Rank banner of releases. Bit off the wall, but I did like the films sense of directional stupidity with old style slap stick. Touchstone released way too much dross in the mix. A hefty few were straight to video affairs, and you found them in the bargain bucket via a rental shop.
Love the intro mate! Thanks as always for including us. Happy New Year!
Thanks for always supplying me material
Wow my Vcr contribution was short lived lol nice tapes! 📼🍿📼
Would be over a minute intro otherwise 😁
@@VideoTasties can't have that!
Happy New Year man some great movies in there Bruce Almighty is a stand out and Shanghai Noon didn’t release they were behind Die Hard 3
Happy New Year, I think it's only the first 2 DH's that are 1 company and the rights went all over the place like Terminator

Lots of up and downs but still better than modern films 😞
