Great video Ryan- thank u - was wondering if u cud do a vid on target funds- heard that they r not the best- in the sense of ' one size fits all' - which may b good for some vs others?
Thanks so much! We do mention Vanguard Target Retirement Funds towards the end, but I will definitely consider doing a full video about this in the future
@@RyanScribner yes I heard that at the end of the vid and thought it wud be good to suggest it for a future topic. Thank you
Thank you I'm truly grateful 🙏 for the information 🙏 I really appreciate 🙏 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Please Make vedio on emerging market funds. Emerging markets except China etc etc
Thanks for the idea!
What is the difference between ETF and normal investments?
I think it depends on your definition of a normal investment, the main difference between ETFs and stocks is the diversification
Thanks for your insight
Thank you made that very easy to understand
Wonderful video, clear and informative, thank you!! 👏 👏 👏
Very informative ! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Great job. Always good to have these concepts and strategies explained in a logical and concise manner.
Much appreciated!
Should you invest in a retirement target date fund in a brokerage account if you already have it in a ROTH I RA?
I now got a better understanding. Still need to do some more research on investing and all this stuff.
Digital advisor has me on VTI and so far so good.
I enjoyed watching this video. You explained everything so well. You're such a great teacher. Thanks again.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the feedback
i live in europe(balkans) so how much do i pay for converting from USdollars?
Thanks for the information I really appreciate your insight on the market you really help me open my mind with the horses
Glad to hear that! That's one of my favorite analogies about the stock market, take care
Great review, thank you. Can you explain the difference between a Vanguard ETF and an Index fund?
Thanks for watching! An ETF is simply shares of an Index Fund
Great video! It really helped me!! Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
Amazing content! Am I able to buy ETFs in my IRA through Dollar Cost Averaging, or wait for the dips, with NO tax consequences? It is currently in the money market fund. I want to buy a few ETFs and maybe a few stocks little by little.
amazing video!
My only question is how do I set up automatic contributions?
I have a Schwab account but I read somewhere that if I buy more shares of VOO every month; Schwab charges me $45 for the transaction.
Is there a way to avoid this?
Would it be better to buy VOO directly from Vanguard?
Look at the prospectus, you may have to opt into something
Thank you for these great videos! I am 53 with a decent savings in an almost 0 interest old school bank, trying to figure out how to make this money work for me. Can anyone confirm...am I understanding if you invest you can roll the dividends to a Roth IRA and avoid paying taxes so long as you leave it in the IRA till 59.5 years old? Thank you for any help!
Good day, so index funds are all mutual funds, is this correct please
No. There are also ETFs that are index funds.
@@TheSmartLawyer - SO ETF's and Index Funds are all under the mutual fund category etc.
Glory to Jesus..May you be blessed more and more 🙏
Don’t go with vanguard that’s how you start your retirement or investments! Personally experience nothing but shit from them! Been nothing but headache
Hi sir I am non us resident but I am living and working in Italy how I can invest in S&P500 index fund for long term . Please guide me i will be thankful to you.
You need USA social security number.
❤❤🎉
Thanks for tuning in!
VTI more volatile than VOO?????
Both have the same risk/reward score on Vanguard - but it would likely be more volatile as you have a greater amount of small and mid-cap exposure
@@RyanScribner If you understood index funds you wouldn’t say such foolish things. VOO is more volatile.
@@jchargles7492 can you provide reasons why VOO is more Volatile?

What a loser response
@@nzone1274 why? Is a legit question ⁉️
He probably makes good money from his You -tube channel. You don’t need to be A Millionaire to be content with life ; just minimal to no debt & sufficient savings, secure Retirement investments is all you need!!!
@@atimnile2401 If I would make good money out of it I won't be on TH-cam spreding the secret. I would keep it for myself.
He's on his way if he's not. Are you investing or just warming a chair watching?
First of all, thank you so very much for all the information and help!
Could you please tell me if this investment option would be available and legitimate for someone who’s not living in the USA?
