@@purwantiallan5089 because Sony didn't put any effort into ensuring all psp games would work with ps3. Some do, some don't. Closest you may get is to use a phone, pc, or ps4 or any newer generation console to emulate

Add all cars to the collection, in their first colour: Hold Start + Select + R: Up, Right, Left, Left, Square, Up, Right, Right, Up, Triangle, Right, Up Set money to 99,000,000 Cr: Hold Start + Select + L: Down, Square, Down, Left, Right, Triangle, Right, Square, Up, Down, Up, Down
@@Senreiner1200 if you are doing it in ppsspp, it would take you some tries to correctly make that combo work... i mean, it took some time for me to get it working... Maybe try different positions to hold the buttons.. it might work
For inputing the codes on the PSP, I find that using your thumb to hold Start and Select at the same time, and index fingers for each shoulder button, helps to free up a finger for the actual button presses
Tried this on my PS Vita last night. Worked perfectly. You can only do the credits cheat one time but I haven't tested it spending any amount and redoing it gets you back to 99m.
I remember buying a PSP back in the day when I got my first job as a student. Killzone and GT killed all the free time I had. Killzone I definitely 100% it but I'm not sure about GT, I think the endurance races are what got me 😅
The most difficult licence tests are with the GT-R on the nurburgring. I remember you play parts of the ring one at a time. then the whole lap. gild was tough 🥇
I remember being so excited about this when I was a kid... I was still waiting for GT5 to come out (which seemed as if it would never happen) and then my uncle gave me his PSP1000 as a hand me down around the time this game was announced. I was a bit disappointed there was no real "career" mode, but considering that all the past games completely overwhelmed me, I felt it wasn't too bad for someone whose age was in the single digits. I did have a very hard time grinding credits though (I didn't really understand that adding R3 tires to your car would give opponents in faster cars, and I mainly raced on the Motegi speedway) so I never really got to use many of the racecars. I did manage to play on LAN with a relative who was visiting from overseas though, and we found you could gain extremely large amounts of credits by racing against each other - but I only got to play with him the one time so my collection remained rather lacklustre since then. Seeing that my phone can run this on PPSSPP in the present day, I think this might get me back into playing a bit.
Man this definitely speeds up the process. One thing that I always found tedious of this version of the game is earning money and buying cars you want. The fact the game pays you out more the longer the races just makes it monotonous. Especially when there's only like 4 drivers, including you, out in the field.
Me and my friends had a simple solution to it. Set the track to the Nurburgring and max out the laps. Then host a LAN match and fix it so that the host wins (take turns). Then put the vehicles on auto drive and sleep off. Next day you are 14 million richer!
This is such a great feat. Back in the day I used to grind for every car (even using a second console for ez money) cannot wait to buy a new battery and try the money cheat.
I will try that too today. I will probably start from the beginning and after entering these cheats I will take the BMW M5 E60 and drive on the Nürburgring Nordschleife
I lost like 5 save games of GTPSP due to swapping fried mobos and consoles since you can't transfer the save file to another one, in multiple ocasions with all licenses done and over 400 cars already bought. I cheat at every chance i get because i don't wanna grind for everything again

I tried the cheat when it was first announced and it worked! Ironically I was getting back to playing GT. And while my first save data was gone. I remember all the cars I used to own back then. I used the unlock all cars cheat and frankly, it's the best cheat if you want to try all the cars in the game yet still grind for cash if you want to get other cool colors of each car available in the game.
Had I known this cheat I wouldn't have to drive Test Course in maximum laps for hours on end with a Mitsubishi HSR-II Concept complete with a rubber band on the R button to keep the accelerator pressed to earn money while I went to school. I still have my PSP, maybe I'll give it a go.
Finally! Thanks for these 2 cheat codes for Gran Turismo PSP! Such a shame that my Gran Turismo PSP doesnt work on my PS3 PSP REMASTER LAUNCHER (due to broken graphics and constant softlock before playing a race although the game sounds are OK). 😢
Holy crap that worked! Had this game for ages and got only a few hundred $$ so I Used the money cheat in my PPSSPP emu. Made a custom button to hold Sel/Start/L and then pressing the other combination. Tricky but once you hear the chime and the restart screen its heaven!!!❤ Thanks Bud! Yo a Life Sava!

GT PSP facts from my experience using an emulator: 1. The dealership will rotate to the very first lineup, which consists of four brands, at Day 69 2. It took me 2 and a half hours just to buy all 830 cars in-game (using CheatEngine to get the maximum amount of money possible; the cheat above makes it possible within minutes 😂) 3. Your very first car upon playing will either be the BMW 120i or the Pontiac Vibe GT
The starting car is randomised from 8 possible choices based on the MAC address of the console hardware. I assume PPSSPP always uses the same MAC for the emulated console, so it'll give a predictable result. GT5's used car list starting position is randomised in the same way.

Not for me though, this game doesn't have a gt mode where you grind for everything if I put these 2 cheats what's the point?? It's so much more satisfying to make money and expect the car dealers to be available on a specific day, or even find one I was expecting... It's just me though

Sacrilege! Nah it's fine. GT1-3 cheats in the future someone? Fair button layout for the cheats. All cars cheat defeats the point of this game but still. It's a fine game for PSP. But yes hard to press. Oh max credits huh. Well it's not a all tracks S rank cheat which might exist but it's easy to play through them. Well if you have the game digital prior to its license/removal. I don't so I missed out on a Vita download of GT PSP from the PS Store. I have a physical copy. But have tried an emulator to test the memory card detection with save files in this game due to the encryption Sony/Polyphony put on it grrr, so I'll try both. I swear it's the only game that does it, for cheating sure but if cheats or Dev work arounds are in the game it makes you question it other than Sony messed up PSP encryption so eh. What a pretty effective GT PSP DRM protection or prevention methods I'll give them that. It's just stronger than it needs to be I think then if it were for cracking protection only. Yeah rebuying the colours is worthless but yes first colour is fine. The dealership idea was cool but annoying it did take ages. Never got far I think few hundred days in. Before killed my save for research. Was too late on the Vita experience but for PSP the cheats will be interesting. Grr that memory card encryption save file nonsense from Sony. Thanks to the server saves of Sport/7 these days I think started with the GT PSP version, GT5&6 don't have that at least from my testing but I haven't moved a PS3 save file between the two PS3s I have only them off a USB from the 1 PS3/to see it regenerate or use the backup. So I'll have to check that and these cheats out on a blank memory card less PSP I have. I don't save cheats. I did my Medal of Honour Frontline ones but any other games no. Also that PSP keyboard is very cellphone era. It has its charm.

Your comment about the car count surprised me! ‘less than proper GT titles’? It has more cars than GT1, 2, 3, 4, Sport and 7 (830!) 😅

What makes this so crazy is that it essentially gives Gran Turismo 5 cheat codes, because you can import your GTPSP garage into GT5's arcade mode.

The impossible has happened. I've had this game on my PSP for over 15 years and never owned a single F1. Mainly because I keep buying old cars.
You can get rid of the jidder in the game by changing Video Output from PSP to TV Output in the settings.

Oh how I wish for GT3 cheats! I’m still stuck on the MX-5 enduro, which is the absolute last race I need along with the Arcade Mode time trials to get 100% completion, & I ain’t good enough to win them!

Sacrilege! Nah it's fine. GT1-3 cheats in the future someone? Fair button layout for the cheats. All cars cheat defeats the point of this game but still. It's a fine game for PSP. But yes hard to press.
Oh max credits huh. Well it's not a all tracks S rank cheat which might exist but it's easy to play through them.
Well if you have the game digital prior to its license/removal. I don't so I missed out on a Vita download of GT PSP from the PS Store.
I have a physical copy. But have tried an emulator to test the memory card detection with save files in this game due to the encryption Sony/Polyphony put on it grrr, so I'll try both. I swear it's the only game that does it, for cheating sure but if cheats or Dev work arounds are in the game it makes you question it other than Sony messed up PSP encryption so eh. What a pretty effective GT PSP DRM protection or prevention methods I'll give them that. It's just stronger than it needs to be I think then if it were for cracking protection only.
Yeah rebuying the colours is worthless but yes first colour is fine.
The dealership idea was cool but annoying it did take ages. Never got far I think few hundred days in. Before killed my save for research.
Was too late on the Vita experience but for PSP the cheats will be interesting. Grr that memory card encryption save file nonsense from Sony. Thanks to the server saves of Sport/7 these days I think started with the GT PSP version, GT5&6 don't have that at least from my testing but I haven't moved a PS3 save file between the two PS3s I have only them off a USB from the 1 PS3/to see it regenerate or use the backup.
So I'll have to check that and these cheats out on a blank memory card less PSP I have. I don't save cheats. I did my Medal of Honour Frontline ones but any other games no.
Also that PSP keyboard is very cellphone era. It has its charm.
