Mario Kart: Super Circuit Might Just Be the Best One

Mario Kart: Super Circuit is often regarded as among the worst Mario Kart games. It was my first Mario Kart game and I have decided that I want to make the case for why it could actually be the best in the series.

Hey, so as someone who's also a big fan of Super Circuit, I thought I might be a good person to get feedback from.
First off, I'm gonna like to give you a boost in the algorithm, and I'm gonna give a sub just in case this channel becomes something special. With that said, let me give you a pointer not related to the video: do better thumbnails. I barely clicked on this video, only doing so because I like Super Circuit a lot (which let's be real, that's not your core audience for this). I took a look at the other videos on your channel, and I'm gonna be frank with you, you have perhaps the worst thumbnails I've ever seen. Like white text on a solid black background would be better than this. The only level below this would be if the thumbnails were pictures you took of the game running on your screen. You will never get anywhere if you fix this; that's why I'm being so harsh about it.
Good news is that, in terms of the other video itself, the editing wasn't half-bad. You could've maybe cut to the other games when you were talking about them a bit more, but it wasn't a super big deal. Only bad thing that stuck out a lot was the first min and 25 seconds, and how it was just the magazine. You needed to make that more interesting.
Something I was disappointed about was that I feel, despite all your praise, you didn't quite do the game justice. Now the visuals and music segments were good, but when it came to the more mechanical aspects, I thought it was a little lacking. I'm glad you brought up the shortcuts, because that is the main reason which makes the track design in this game so great (which in turn is what makes the game so great). However, I feel you could've talked a lot more about them, such as giving way more examples than you did. I was especially sad you didn't bring up Rainbow Road, THE shortcut track, once. It's a shame, I personally think that's one of the absolute best tracks in the series (possibility the best Rainbow Road...maybe).
I know this isn't a Super Mario Kart video, but it would've nice if you brought up how the shortcuts as possible BECAUSE of the 2D nature (SMK is the only other game to be as shortcut-focused as first). Likewise, it would've also been nice if you brought up how the modern, 3D versions of these tracks failed to live up to that nature. And then of course there's missing out on talking about perhaps the best Time Trial mode in the series. Funnily enough, a flaw in the game I was surprised you didn't bring up was that the Super Circuit versions of the SMK tracks are much worse, due to how they remove all the track elements (the one exception I think are the Vanilla Dome tracks).

Well made video, don't necessarily agree myself but these are some interesting points. Completely agree that Super Circuit has some fun track themes in it!
