Considering its been a year since Engage, I could see the Switch 2 having it's first Fire Emblem coming a bit earlier than you predicted (around 2026 instead of 2027) but that could also just be me prioritizing it because of how much I like the series.
My figuring was that we got only two new 2D Kirby games on Switch, and while I have added a third, they would be spread through the console's life. 3D Kirby gives something a bit bigger to be closer to the end of the console's life.
@@loading....6512 while true, if there was a 3D Kirby in 2026 then there definitely wouldn't be a 2D Kirby before 2028, and that would be over a decade. As 3D is a new thing for the franchise it could take longer to get there, but 2D Kirby is the staple that they will be sure to want to get out earlier.
I would be a bit surprised if the whole dual screen idea was actually just something that worked with the og switch screen. 😅 I like the idea that they’re gonna bring back Wii U type gameplay by making either a mirroring console that doesn’t have to be docked, or a second screen that you can attach to the first.
Also fire emblem is WAYY too late haha. I would bet money that a new fire emblem is happening in the first YEAR. Or if not, at LEAST a remake. That franchise is way too popular to wait 3 more years for. (And I’m not even a fire emblem fan)
Pretty good prediction list, though I feel like some of those could come earlier in the timeline like F-Zero since Nintendo seems most likely to have some plan for it and FDC getting another game after Emio might depend on the sales of it or how hard it's the creator (the same guy who made Metroid) is pushing for a follow-up. As for Star Fox, that one is holy depending on if there's a gimmick or gameplay style they could use for Switch 2 and if the Switch 2 is just like Switch 1 but with bigger Joy-cons and more power. I fear Star Fox will once again be stuck in a cryostasis for most if not all of the next-gen again with it only being seen in Smash Bros and other crossover games.
I feel they would have wanted to see the reaction to F-Zero 99 before starting work on a new game. I also don't think they will necessarily only do Star Fox if they have a gimmick in mind - it has been long enough that a new Star Fox game just makes sense.
@@sladelucas5531 While I agree with you on Nintendo needing more data before making a new F-Zero and on their not needing to be a new gimmick for the next Star Fox game after such a long wait time (if your prediction is right it will have been 12 years since Star Fox Zero on Wii U) however that's not how Nintendo makes Star Fox games and that's why we didn't get one for the Wii since Miyamoto couldn't come up with any ideas for unique gameplay for the title.
I'm surprised I've never seen anyone do this as it is a very interesting idea, however I would like to add some of my own speculation - I would have probably added Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Legends Z-A in the timeline as they are very big releases and overlapping them with other games could either overshadow these games or the games they are coming alongside with - I would add some of the rumored games like Fire Emblem: Geneology of the Holy War or the Star Fox Assault remaster - Since Famicom Detective Club got a new game after its remake, I think Advanced Wars (which could be called Switch Wars) could get a new entry - Mother 3 I think it's very likely to finally get released in the west. As far as I know, the reason why Nintendo left it as a japan exclusive game is because the game has some LGBT elements whuch wasn't as accepted back then as it is today, but now that they made Vivian trans in the Thousand-Year Door remake I don't think adding those elements for a Mother 3 release would be a problem anymore - I think we may see another Peach game. Even if it's a minor game like the Yoshi series I don't think Nintendo is going to leave Showtime as the one game in this series - apparently there might be a Pikmin spin off so that may or may not be on switch 2 - this is more wishful thinking, but I hope we have another old series get the Kid Icarus treatment; something like Mach Rider or Ice Climber getting a new game would be really cool - there have been a lot of rumors of a Majora's Mask remake and I think they might be true - speaking of Zelda, I think it's important to point out that ever since 2017 there has been a Zelda release each year wether it's a remake, remaster or new game. The only exception was 2022 but that was because Tears of the Kingdom got delayed - apparently the studuio behind the Dynasty Warriors games would like to do a Super Mario Warriors which I think they might get the permission for - I think we might see a new Mario RPG game where Geno and Mallow are there. I really doubt they would only bring them back to forget about them again But overall good video
@@martinalejandromartinez1328 honestly, a lot of this I could see happening, and some of it I did consider. It will be interesting to see what we actually get.
@@DinomanMayorClint that's the thing, a lot of this probably isn't gonna happen, not like this anyway. Heck, a lot of what actually happens will be more exciting.
@@DinomanMayorClint well yeah, it is impossible to truly know. We can make educated guesses but Nintendo always likes to throw curveball out there. It's absolutely possible. I guess Fire Emblem doesn't have to take a massive amount of time so yeah, maybe. We shall have to see I guess.
