Kasane's weapons are throwing knives she controls with her Psychokinesis. You don't use her air attacks too much. She has a ground series of attacks considered gamebreaking using Shiden's and Kagero's abilities (that gets more insane adding Kyoka and Arashi's) using Triangle to make her spin a lot and crush enemies like crazy. And honestly, the static image thing in cutscenes felt much more like a stylistic choice I really liked. The whole presentation and look and everything was such a breath of fresh air for me after playing Arise. A fun fact is the game's Director worked on the Tales series up through Xillia 2, so you can definitely feel the Tales influence in it.
Interesting, didnt know kasane was game breaking with the right combos? And i can see why people liked the cutscenes, i do to, just kinda got really notiable for me after a while lol, also they worked on takes, that’s awesome! Definitely gotta give the series more of a try in the future
@@Crimsonrosso The thing with Kagero's ability is that when you're Invisible, hits are guaranteed Criticals, and the attack you get using Shiden's Electricity hits a ton. When you get to use 4 SAS you can add Kyoka's Duplication (already super strong), and Arashi's (aka best girl) Hypervelocity, which is really good too. With this you melt enemies Crush Gauges, letting you go into Brain Crush or Crush Vision chains, soaked or not.
When I saw the reveal trailer for this, I got massive Astral Chain vibes and was instantly hooked. Got the game Day 1 and I had an absolute blast with this. Now I just hope we get a sequel one day.
It was a total blast ngl, and a fellow astral chain enjoyer i see! And i do hope we get a sequel obe day as i wanna meet the moon please and learn more about other particles!
Subbed, but had to stop at 6:30, as I'm gonna be getting the game and u were going into details that i didn't know about, lol, will save this video for after i beat the game. 💯🙂
@@Official_RetroMania it definitely needs a sequel considering how half the stuff they introduced like moon people and other particles never got actual conclusions
@@Crimsonrosso Yeah that is true but from my memory although I could be miss remembering they kinda won that war against the Moon humans, although I don't think they down right eliminated them, so the Moon humanity could still find a way to attack although they did solved the problem what the moon people started.
They introduce a lot in act 3 that never really gets resolved like never meeting the moon people or finding a solution to other particles, so a sequel could probably give us answers to that
@@Crimsonrosso True the game did had a lot thrown at once, time travel, moon people, artificially created life (if I remember correctly) ultra smart AI a huge library of informations and much more... Some questions were answered but they put so many plot twists and questions near the end that it was impossible to answer them all in one game, so yeah a sequel could be possible, we will see.
this game seems really fun, like a mix between Astral Chain, DMC & Force Unleashed. Great review Crimson! I remembered to add this game to my wishlist because of you 😎💪
Made a bet with a friend, if this video hits 100 likes ill buy and review rain code, so if your interested, hit that like button
