Now Ladybug is being distracted. Marinette has never confessed her feelings for Adrien and she had been clueless around him from the beginning. Because she has never confessed, Adrien had no chance of knowing about her feelings. So I think Marinette started loving Cat noir too late.
I feel like people dissociate Marinette from Ladybug too often, when they're literally the same person. Just as Cat Noir is how Adrien would be like when given absolute freedom, Ladybug is how Marinette would be like if given the chance to be more confident and be someone people can rely in. I don't think they realize how different Marinette is now in comparison to Season 1- and that's the person Adrien fell in love with. Sure it took him some time to admit it, but he fell in love with the ideal version of Marinette. Now, he's falling in love with "her" because he sees her as who she really is, and with recent events and over the past seasons, she has definitely come close to being the ideal version of herself: confident, strong, and capable. It might be an unpopular opinion, but to me, this is the best episode of season 5 so far. All of the other episodes that have been released are focussed on Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/Cat Noir and have a very serious undertone, wich in my opinion is getting old. This episode has the typical "Miraculous-flair" that season 5 has been missing. Kagami wingmanning Adrien and Marinette panicking during the entire time was hilarious to me. And an episode revolving around your favorite cringe scene in Miraculous was just icing on the cake to me. However, I wished they used more of the characters of the other seasons in season 5. I like that Kagami did something for the plot in this episode, and I don't mind characters like Veronique being introduced, but I wished they used more characters like Marinettes classmates and Luka during this season. Luka didn't do much in this episode (he just kept Marinette from running away), Alya is just a person who Marinette vents to, Chloe is just angry as for usual and most other characters didn't realy do much. I realy hope they'll get a better role in future episodes
The only way i’ll accept that marinette doesn’t like adrien anymore is if she is able to talk to him completely normally without any stuttering. Until that happens I’ll always think she’s just suppressing those feelings instead of having moved on.
Determination was a good but cringeful episode because of the whole Puppeteer 2 reminder that Marinette was EXTRA creepy and KISSED Adriens lips and she STILL laments this and is trying her damndest to move on, but now Adrien has feelings for her and he is trying to make a honest move on her, but they are easily getting in each other's way and the clock is still ticking on when they will actually just be a couple and stop this 4 SEASON dance of confusing emotions. Manipula was a interesting villain and she could've won had Cat Noir not re motivate Ladybug and her using all the Heroes powers to her disposal to clap the 2 and collect their miraculous, but her blundering caused her downfall. Also, REVERSE LOVE SQUARE is a things now and thus, my point for this episode now ends here.
I find interesting watching this episode she was embarrassed by this day like all of us but was sweet to see adrien remembers it differently he thought it as a sweet day
I love the story pacing and that there’s like the MOST story ever, like season 3-4 and now 5 have just all improved in story line and progression which is amazing. But I am worried by the fast pacing release, like I was JUST processing the past few episodes still
Aw poor 3 it gets hate more than it deserves like yeah they were milking it and sure it’s not my top 3. I think it was just a weird season of stagnation. And it limited itself with the whole gotta go run off to Fu. But it does have some of my favorite episodes like Silencer Kwamibuster and obvy Chat Blanc. It just needed to be shortened or had a little more thought into some of those low tier episodes. Cuz it’s kind of a roller coaster where some are great and others I forget exist until I rewatch. Then I’m like oh yeah no the hates not unjustified. Looking at u stormy weather 2. Bruh it has a volcano but we don’t even get to see it be used!! 😡
Honestly, I paired Luka and Kagami, they’re too perfect for each other. One is cool headed, another is fiery, both equally passionate and wants love. And they look exactly like the humanoid ver of what the ladybug and cat Kwami could be in. Literal representation!
I think think creators tried to gaslight us about wax statue scene being good because they weren't expecting how everyone felt cringy about it XD Well everyone still doesn't believe Adrien's feelings for Marinette started at museum but way before XD
I really thought they would've given Manipula the power of the Goat to create more wax staues, not the ox. Her design didn't indicate it would move in that direction at all. Hell, I expected the bee's powers to manifest in some way through wax encasing people -- she's just so yellow.
The reverse was really shocking for me. This was something I had not expected after years of seeing Marinette fixate on Adrirn and Cat Noir fixate on Ladybug.
Yeah so is Marichat going to be as awkward as ladrien was before. And now ladrien will be more serious with witty banter? I find it funny how all it took for Marinette to completely ignore cat blanc was Felix deceiving her by impersonating Adrien to take the miraculouses.
Luka was one of the best parts of the episode. I really hate the out of order releases because the missing content takes away the hype of those two getting together
@@lyndaazaleacheng3072 smarty pants (dont know the real name) said this about Tikki... that she must be loving this drama with marinette/Ladybug and adrian/Catnoir because she knows both of their Identities
I'm sorry but the part where you talked about Chat Noir's first "action" was fucking hilarious 💀 I'm crying tears bro!!! Excellent review man, excellent! Also, not the writers actually having the balls to bring back this cursed scene AND ACTUALLY MAKE IT RELEVANT?!?!?! Only Miraculous 😭😭😭😭😭
I personally think the Ox power should also be immune to the plans the lucky charms give you. Imagine the falling chandelier just does nothing to her lmfao
But the thing is, the lucky charm doesn't give you any plans. It's been shown that it's the user who makes it powerful, and Marinette is very good at thinking under pressure and coming up with creative, unorthodox solutions. That's why she always uses her "lucky charm vision" when she isn't Ladybug (ex. In Scarabella). Adrien has been shown to use his own vision (I think in Oblivio?) But it's really just them thinking through how to get themselves out of a sticky situation
@@fantasan8540 That's a retcon to attempt to cover the fact that Ladybug was using that power in Sandboy after it was disabled. It was established in Troublemaker that the flashing visions are part of the lucky charm power.
I literally avoided puppeteer 2 because I didn't want to see the damn wax statue scene and then determination goes ahead and flashbacks to it for me to make me regret watching the series more and more
I think what's worse about the episodes being out of order...is that they had months to go with finishing the episodes BUT STILL GOT THEM OUT OF ORDER!
I loved how Adrien and Marinette had completely different views about how the whole statue incident went down🤣 Also I don't care what anyone else says, Luka and Kagami would be a great couple, I really hope they have more scenes together and at least become good friends.🥰
I thought it was good. The stuff between cat and ladybug was really good and is back to old them which is nice to see. Them working together without fighting each other every two seconds is nice, but if they got rid of the really bad wax statue scene it be better. I only wanted to see that once not two times in the same episode. but yes it was good. Also Luca's line about everyone loving Adrian and him loving everyone back made me laugh. Any way I would give it an 8/10 it was good but things could have been improved in some places but still fun :)
Jesus... First that wax statue incident, now unintentionally getting his first bit of "action" from a cougar? Either Adrian is gonna avoid museums & wax statues like the plague due to this running gag or he's secretly gonna have a thing for older women now.
I give villains a pass on them not knowing what the snake miraculous does because they literally can't see what it does. Second chance by it's nature means only those who know it's power beforehand and the person who uses its power know what it does and they don't really advertise it. Granted it doesn't excuse Gabe for not telling her. It's a similar case with the bunny we're not many people actually know about the bunny's power and it's always followed by weird time stuff. Edit: also I guess second Chance has its 5 minute limit which I don't know how that affects Gabe as an adult user but realistically these fights take more than 5 minutes more often than they don't so he can't just second chance it.
What made me sad about the hall of heroes is that Queen Bee should have been included. Her various akumatized forms should be in the hall of villains or whatever too, but Queen Bee was truly once a hero of the city, even if she stopped being a hero later. Facts are facts. She was a hero of the city once.
It was best episode for me I never had so much emotions before with any past episode and not even after And...I think that Marinette is over thinking person I do it too and many times people are looking at me because they whould never thought about is Its not wrong its differend then most people
Why doesn't Gabriel ever think smart? Why doesn't he just Akumatize himself and give himself the ability to summon the miraculous to him? He seems to be able to do ANYTHING with his power, including stealing and/or emulating the power of every single miraculous, what are the limitations here???
i think that the episode was pretty... fiiiiiiiiine! i can see where it could be better, but it has the stuff i like, also... while i know that in the scene where ladybug and cat noir fight the fake heroes, they fight with wax figures, but honestly, i find the way they just snap most of them figures in half and other "cut to pieces" stuff pretty darn BRUTAL (the way i see violence can even go to quite literally sentient wax figures... Therapy time?)
It officially took them six years to do the intrest reversal trope. Im gonna guess that if they manage to get the resources, they will stretch out the inevitable to the 10 year anneversary... but still have it somehow be a fakeout.
the doors are a trap for Gabe if he found Marinette's house so they would have to be quickly accessed and moved quick so there is no actual time for him to escape
While watching this episode I felt the need to slap Marinette, she just annoyed me so much- he finally shows interest but she’s now like nahhhh, it feels so forced from the writers perspective… why, why, arghhh I knew I am gonna comment that under your future video.
Aw, you didn't talk about Chloe's rant. Like I was so infuriated at her blaming Ladybug. Yes, you're right, Chloe, but you were the catalyst to her becoming Guardian and leading to all these risks being taken. And she keeps saying they would've won with Queen Bee, like girl, shut up. You should be grateful we haven't publicly announced your expulsion because you would've gotten akumatized again from the humiliation. 😤
This episode was amazing. 9.5/10 for me First of all, let me tell you that so far every single episode of season 5 is amazing. WHAT I LOVED: - interactions between: Kagami - Luka Marinette - Adrien Luka - Marinette Adrien - Kagami It was so nice to see everybody talk to everybody... The way Kagami and Luka tried to help Adrien and Marinette was really nice - and again, too many emotions...., love it - Animation overall: great - Chat Noir was amazing as always. Love that he is getting treated rightfully this time around, and again that's why S4 needed to be that dark for Chat Noir, because now we can appreciate his joy even more... It's nice to see them be a great team again and protect each other👍🏼 - the ending was really strong and quite heartbreaking to watch.... i don't know why, but season 5 just hits you differently than the seasons before... and i love that... AND THE BACKGROUND MUSIC WAS INSANELY GOOD.🥺😳the drama between those characters is just so well implemented, WOW - reserve love square🤩🥺(It feels so weird, ngl, but in a good way)😅 I still can't believe that it's happening... we came a long way, guys - loved how Chat Noir saved Ladybug. Reminded me so much at the copycat episode, when LB saved Chat Noir... You could see how it affected LBs emotions.... - I feel bad for Adrien, Chat Noir, Marinette and Ladybug tho...😢If only they knew who they really are... just like before, nobody is getting his/her true love... THE REVEAL is the only cure for this madness... - The scene when the villain used his Cataclysm on herself, scared tf out of me, at first..., i was like, what the hell is happening..., but afterwards I was like..., uhhh, that was smart - It was also nice to see the weapon of Minotaurox. The only thing that I DIDN'T LOVE, was the akuma battle: The idea of having all heroes on the bad side is amazing, yet they didn't use its potential at all. This could have been the best action sequence of Miraculous. They could have used more powers, like the snake, bunny, or tiger miraculous. It could have been more dangerous and intense... I do understand tho, that this was clearly not supposed to be the main event of this episode and that they only have 22min, but than why not create another villain...🤷🏻♂That's why I can't give it a 10...
5:29: They REALLY should have instead brought up their moments in the New York special, it would have made more sense. It's far less cringey than her kissing a statue and they both consented to it, so it isn't that weird or awkward for them. It also happened WAY more recently (before S4) than the statue kiss moment did in S3. The episode was great and all, but that moment was hella weird and cringe... 😬
Three things: 1. It’s kinda funny for André to assume that people seeing wax models of the heroes would make people depressed. Isn’t it a possibility that these people would be hopeful that these heroes would return one day and defeat Monarch? 2. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that Gabe not giving the snake miraculous is stupid! If you give your villains the snake power, every villain you create will have a the second chance power. 3. If Manipula was able to use the Ox power of resistance to prevent getting Cataclysmed, Why did monarch do the same thing back in episode 3? WTF Gabe???!!!!!
I’m so glad that Kagami and Luka are not taking crap from them anymore and not in love with Adrian and martinet they bother deserve not to be used by them and need to find them self someone who will fully appreciate them and love them fully since martinet and Adrien never loved them in the beginning Luka and Kagami don’t deserved to be used and had every right to lock them up
Point on security for the hero exhibit: bringing inanimate objects to life or controling someone through their likeness are established akuma powers. Makes sense lowkey that the hero exhibit would have extra security
He was "feeling" before the wax statue make out scene, he told Plagg she is important to him wanting to make her happy and comfortable around him. It obviously turned on a switch because all he remembered was the make out, but she remembered the rejection and he made a point of telling her the girl he is in love with doesn't like pranks either, like as if he was rejecting her softly so not to ruin their friendship
It's crazy how Felix was the original character for cat noir and the personallilty was exactly how it was now. I ,mean he actually acted like Gabriel! Bro imagine that type of cat noir
I was miserable watching all the shit about Marinette liking adrian and adrian liking ladybug for 4 seasons only to be even more miserable seeing ladybug fall for catnoir but now he thinks of her as a friend and has fallen for marinette... like could this love square get any more ridiculous?
Also this proves the fact that you always fall for a person when they lose interest in you and you always lose interest in someone when they fall in love with you too...
if i had a boyfriend like luka, why would i need adrien. like, mari and luka amd adrien and Kagami just seem so much better. I cannot be the only one who thinks this
I feel like Marinette should just focus on herself. Love hurts too much and I think for now, she can’t let herself be distracted by love because she’ll make other mistakes 😢

@@cocopops7945 period lmaoo we love a messy queen
Fair enough
The feelings they have for each other is like a rollercoaster dude, too fast lmao
Love how Chat noir is slowly becoming as useful or even more than ladybug
I find interesting watching this episode she was embarrassed by this day like all of us but was sweet to see adrien remembers it differently he thought it as a sweet day
‘Now there’s two of them’ killed me 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"We should not have made this bargain."
I love the story pacing and that there’s like the MOST story ever, like season 3-4 and now 5 have just all improved in story line and progression which is amazing. But I am worried by the fast pacing release, like I was JUST processing the past few episodes still
4 and 5 yes
3 no
Aw poor 3 it gets hate more than it deserves like yeah they were milking it and sure it’s not my top 3.
I feel like this was the pacing we've been missing that's why we're not used to it
Honestly, I paired Luka and Kagami, they’re too perfect for each other.
Is it just me or are the episodes going too fast? Determination is still new but now we have Passion already.
And now reunion
we didnt have anything for 5 months thats why
So I *wasn't* the only one who felt that way!
The deal is that one is coming out pretty much every day
I enjoy it tbh I hate having to wait I’m VERY impatient and I’m use to just watching all the episodes in order and in a row sooo
Just gotta say, mad respect for Kagami in this episode. She is not taking any of Adrien's crap and it's great.
Luka was one of the best parts of the episode. I really hate the out of order releases because the missing content takes away the hype of those two getting together
Your reactions have me rolling. “Tikki, you little shit!”
"she must be loving all of this" 😂😂
Who is "she"?
I love his reaction to the cringe moments, I mean him saying Cat noir's first "action" was on a woman was very funny and sad.
Unorthodox solutions> than the OX miraculous power
@@fantasan8540 That's a retcon to attempt to cover the fact that Ladybug was using that power in Sandboy after it was disabled. It was established in Troublemaker that the flashing visions are part of the lucky charm power.
It's hard not to be impressed with how much of a fight Veronique put up against monarch
I literally avoided puppeteer 2 because I didn't want to see the damn wax statue scene and then determination goes ahead and flashbacks to it for me to make me regret watching the series more and more
1:59 “Then kagami continues to be the most *based* character in the entire franchise” if I wasn’t in a bathroom rn id be dying laughing
My ranking of season 5 with reunion.
1. Jubilation 10/10
2. Passion 9.5/10
3. Multiplication 9.5/10
4. Reunion 9/10
5. Determination 7/10
6. Evolution 7/10
7. Destruction 5/10
3:14 ok but, imagine that was actually the statue she kissed. Was she just gonna stand there making out with Adrian’s statue!? I am cringing so hard😬🤢
Dang… Catnoir became more of a chad everyone going for him.
I think what's worse about the episodes being out of order...is that they had months to go with finishing the episodes BUT STILL GOT THEM OUT OF ORDER!
I loved how Adrien and Marinette had completely different views about how the whole statue incident went down🤣
Also I don't care what anyone else says, Luka and Kagami would be a great couple, I really hope they have more scenes together and at least become good friends.🥰
it was definitely their intention to make us suffer with how often they brought up the wax museum scene this season 😭
It was best episode for me
I never had so much emotions before with any past episode and not even after
And...I think that Marinette is over thinking person I do it too and many times people are looking at me because they whould never thought about is
Its not wrong its differend then most people
Why doesn't Gabriel ever think smart? Why doesn't he just Akumatize himself and give himself the ability to summon the miraculous to him? He seems to be able to do ANYTHING with his power, including stealing and/or emulating the power of every single miraculous, what are the limitations here???
Smooth brain strikes again 😊
i think that the episode was pretty... fiiiiiiiiine!
i can see where it could be better, but it has the stuff i like, also...
while i know that in the scene where ladybug and cat noir fight the fake heroes, they fight with wax figures, but honestly, i find the way they just snap most of them figures in half and other "cut to pieces" stuff pretty darn BRUTAL (the way i see violence can even go to quite literally sentient wax figures... Therapy time?)
Adrien is Marinette 2.0 now because he’s acting just like her but a little bit better
man ur videos r both great and funny af, this episode is hella intense im very curious now, just wished they uploaded the episodes in order
Those doors in the museum close almost like the airlocks in star wars.
11:00 NAHHH- HE DID NOT 😭😭😭
10:06 it’s because he doesn’t trust a villain to have control over time
Tikki is probably having the time of her life at this point
Chat noir being in love with Ladybug really gives him a boost in skills, kinda sad
But he is in his peak right now
It officially took them six years to do the intrest reversal trope. Im gonna guess that if they manage to get the resources, they will stretch out the inevitable to the 10 year anneversary... but still have it somehow be a fakeout.
Ahhhh!!! I was waiting for your upload!!! This episode is actually pretty good
Omg I f-ing love the way you make these videos the commentary is so hilarious
the doors are a trap for Gabe if he found Marinette's house so they would have to be quickly accessed and moved quick so there is no actual time for him to escape
While watching this episode I felt the need to slap Marinette, she just annoyed me so much- he finally shows interest but she’s now like nahhhh, it feels so forced from the writers perspective… why, why, arghhh I knew I am gonna comment that under your future video.
I was legit blown away by the fact that this episode was actually based on a real person who runs this museum IRL-that’s really cool.
I think this season is starting very well, there's coming a lot of drama, lets all hope it doesnt ends in a bad way xd
:/ them being in love with each other isnt exactly out of no-where. The first hints were last season.
Kagami is my second favorite character
I love your reviews! Personally this is my favorite so far ♡
9.5/10 for me
First of all, let me tell you that so far every single episode of season 5 is amazing.
WHAT I LOVED:
- interactions between:
Kagami - Luka
Marinette - Adrien
Luka - Marinette
Adrien - Kagami
It was so nice to see everybody talk to everybody...
The way Kagami and Luka tried to help Adrien and Marinette was really nice
- and again, too many emotions...., love it
- Animation overall: great
- Chat Noir was amazing as always. Love that he is getting treated rightfully this time around, and again that's why S4 needed to be that dark for Chat Noir, because now we can appreciate his joy even more... It's nice to see them be a great team again and protect each other👍🏼
- the ending was really strong and quite heartbreaking to watch.... i don't know why, but season 5 just hits you differently than the seasons before... and i love that... AND THE BACKGROUND MUSIC WAS INSANELY GOOD.🥺😳the drama between those characters is just so well implemented, WOW
- reserve love square🤩🥺(It feels so weird, ngl, but in a good way)😅 I still can't believe that it's happening... we came a long way, guys
- loved how Chat Noir saved Ladybug.
- The scene when the villain used his Cataclysm on herself, scared tf out of me, at first..., i was like, what the hell is happening..., but afterwards I was like..., uhhh, that was smart
- It was also nice to see the weapon of Minotaurox.
The only thing that I DIDN'T LOVE, was the akuma battle:
The idea of having all heroes on the bad side is amazing, yet they didn't use its potential at all.
I liked the episode in the first place, but your videos always make me love the episodes even more
I really enjoyed this episode. As soon as I watch it, I come to your channel to watch a review, they're hilarious, haha!
Best episode review so far, I just died at some parts🤣🤣🤣 I almost look more forward to your reviews than episodes themselves😉😁 please keep on going
Three things:
Honestly, I don’t like Vesparia either. She’s just so…boring. She’s just Chloe but stupidly perfect and nice.
At least she didn't side with Hawkmoth
I’m so glad that Kagami and Luka are not taking crap from them anymore and not in love with Adrian and martinet they bother deserve not to be used by them and need to find them self someone who will fully appreciate them and love them fully since martinet and Adrien never loved them in the beginning Luka and Kagami don’t deserved to be used and had every right to lock them up
Stan Kagami and Luka, the aro/ace besties that have to deal with their other friends chaotic lives lifes
Point on security for the hero exhibit: bringing inanimate objects to life or controling someone through their likeness are established akuma powers. Makes sense lowkey that the hero exhibit would have extra security
11:07 😂 had me on the floor
Btw s5e7 passion is out along with reunion ( s5e8)
Adrientte is honestly like the love triangle from Twilight lol
He was "feeling" before the wax statue make out scene, he told Plagg she is important to him wanting to make her happy and comfortable around him.
It obviously turned on a switch because all he remembered was the make out, but she remembered the rejection and he made a point of telling her the girl he is in love with doesn't like pranks either, like as if he was rejecting her softly so not to ruin their friendship
It's crazy how Felix was the original character for cat noir and the personallilty was exactly how it was now. I ,mean he actually acted like Gabriel! Bro imagine that type of cat noir
Probably would look like Cat Walker
Miraculous is one of those shows that you know gets really stupid but you still watch it anyway. I was cringe-ing a lot in many scenes oof
Facts
I was miserable watching all the shit about Marinette liking adrian and adrian liking ladybug for 4 seasons only to be even more miserable seeing ladybug fall for catnoir but now he thinks of her as a friend and has fallen for marinette... like could this love square get any more ridiculous?
Season 3 started with Lukanette date and I was happy to see the change but this is just ridiculous...
Also this proves the fact that you always fall for a person when they lose interest in you and you always lose interest in someone when they fall in love with you too...
They just realised the fact we should love the person who loves us back ❤
if i had a boyfriend like luka, why would i need adrien. like, mari and luka amd adrien and Kagami just seem so much better. I cannot be the only one who thinks this
I feel like Marinette should just focus on herself. Love hurts too much and I think for now, she can’t let herself be distracted by love because she’ll make other mistakes 😢
I just love the turn tables of the ships just yanking on the wheel
I definitely could say that Mayor Bourgeois is more corrupt than Mayor Toadstool from Amphibia. At least Mayor Toadstool had done the right thing and help the citizens of Wartwold. Also Mayor Toadstool isn't completely whipped unlike Mayor Bourgeois by Audrey and Chloe.
I dont have the strength to endure the actual show anymore so I'm just watching this 😭
5:47 the kwami of creation what did you expect she is alsow fashion designer so like probably had it on her
