@SmartyPantsYT What are you most hoping for in season 6? Adrienette implosion? Marinette akumatization? Civilian Zoe potentially getting more screen time? Heck, potentially Chloe's change in attitude? After all, a man can dream, right?
The fact that Adrien instantly assumed that Marinette ditching him and acting all awkward during their date was HIS fault really goes to show the damage Gabriel did to him
most people would've dumped marinette on the spot, but he's so used to being abandoned that it doesn't even cross his mind. that's genuinely pretty sad
Still don’t get why Marinette didn’t just call her mom for advice or something? Her ditching him for over an hour seems so callous. At least with that movie date she had with Luka she had a legit emergency.
@@MissJJoan me thinking too deeply into the show even though it's definitely not that deep: I think it might be trauma from her time as a too-young guardian and being conditioned during such time to believe she needs to do everything on her own and if she asks for help she's a failure in that area. She's had to do the whole guardian thing on her own for the majority of the time, why couldn't she handle going on a simple date with her boyfriend? Plus with keeping Gabe's secret, she's had a lot on her shoulders and doesn't understand how to ask for help. Again, definitely thinking too far into it.
We don't even see Adrien overcome the five stages of grief or be comforted by his friends, or show resentment towards Ladybug for not "saving" his obviously cruel father. Nah, who needs that when we get another awkward Adrienette date!!
It feels weird, because Adrien and Marinette should be something like the brain and the brawns, one is super smart and creative, while the other is strong and a great fighter, something like Batman and Superman, but Adrien/Cat Noir character feels so pointless since season 4 and 5 that it's just weird, it doesn't looks like he holds one of the two greatest power in the universe, it doesn't even looks like he is a great fighter at all. I don't think he needs to be the sucessor, but he should be much more important and stronger than he is shown
Lila with the butterfly miraculous: discreet and elusive Gabriel the moment he stole all the miraculouses: "HAHA, PEOPLE OF PARIS, LADYBUG LOST AND I WON!!!"
One thing I noticed is that is that in the English dub when Lila starts getting frustrated and yelled”Illustrhater shush” her voice filter was delayed and it revealed her real voice which I thought was interesting
No clue if this is right but it sounds like both voices are different takes at minimum. Especially during the akumatisation convosation lila's and the other voice change how in sync they are even mid-word sometimes
Polymouse design is the best upgrade so far. And yes, Lila is such a threat, omg the stakes are SO high, I’m definitely hyped, but we deserved a proper release this time Gloob remains our biggest opp.
So no one has talked about this, but Lisa Key Jennings, Lila's voice actor, was listed as "Chrysalis" in the end credits. So while the heroes do not know the holder of the Butterfly Miraculous' name, we do.
I think Lila so far is a GREAT villain, the only issue I have with her is her reasoning behind being a villain. With Gabriel he had an actual reason for being Hawk Moth. But with Lila, it’s just a mystery. The only reason we know why she’s doing this is because she hates Ladybug, but she has no good reason to hate ladybug.
I don’t think this is a bad thing as long as we get her reasons at some point. If that moment rolls around and she’s like “That’s right, I did all of this to irritate Ladybug! That’s what you get for chewing me out once!” then I’ll be pretty disappointed, but hopefully that won’t happen.
Just putting it out there. At the end of Season 5 we got Lila facing off against something scary. My money is that it isn't actually Lila in season 6 but rather The Supreme who swapped places with her/got rid of her at the end of season 5 when we saw lila get attacked. Ladybug and Chat Noir Rebelled in her world and she's come to this world to use their kwami to wish back her own power.
@@user-yl2gpYeah, just saying “I’m doing this because I hate ladybug” is such a dumb reason for her to be a villain. She only hated ladybug because Ladybug exposed her for lying. If they have no real reason for Lila being a villain, I think it would be cool if Lila was a time traveler and she came to the past to get revenge on Ladybug because she did something she didn’t like when she was young or something.
Question: does she still have a reason to hate ladybug anymore, I mean I know she was humiliated but that was because she was trying to get adrien. Clearly she isn't going to get Adrien anytime soon and Gabe's dead so the whole "be famous" thing is out the window plus she lost all her "friends" that she treated like idiots anyway so.... what now?
The change in style was definitely one of the most jarring things on first watch. I got alot more use to it over the course of the episode, but some characters really did not translate well. Also Ivan just looks like a completely new person which is hilarious.
So, Carapace was shown using Shellter mulutple times without recharging, just like Ladybug and Cat Noir. Does that mean that everyone’s “grown up” by now and has no limitations? If so, then I’m pretty interested in how they’re going to handle some of the Miraculous powers since some of them could be pretty busted with no limitations on uses
The Akumas staring in horror as Caprikid and Rooster Bold come at them as a duo with unlimited "Genesis" and "Sublimation" uses on top of the unlimited Lucky Charms
@@shane5326 I take it you mean Ultraforce, because that Chrysalis was UGLY!! For those who never saw that, I'm putting a link to episode that someone posted here on TH-cam. Her true face is shown near the end. th-cam.com/video/3auXYAil2QU/w-d-xo.html
@@Void-a7k You remember his simp moments in Season 5? And just like Chloe, I thought it was pathetic that he wrote “I don't know what I want to do with my life in the future, the only thing that matters to me is that I love Marinette”.
What i interpreted in cerise last sentences in this episode : You know nothing about me ( her real name and identity ) , about them ( all the fake identities she created ) , about us ( her true and fake identities ) , i ´m everywhere ( she can create new identities as she want ) , i ´m nowhere ( she can erase any of her fake identities like she did when she was lila ) , i´ m a chameleon
The fact that Adrien didn't get a new outfit is crazy. The show really feels more like a Ladybug series rather than a Ladybug and Chatnoir series TT-TT
He did change, he has more details now. Having such small changes doesnt have anything to do with being forgotten, as Argos and Bunnix didnt had any changes to their designs. They simply didnt touch on the outfits that were already good because the goal was to improve the bad and boring ones, those 3 mentioned above are probably among the most popular ones, there is no reason to change them that much
At first glance Adrien's reaction confused or got me and others angry but if you look at it it is in his character. Someone who is controlled their whole life someone who never makes choices hasn't processed grief that well and has anger issues. It has been obvious from start he has no self respect and doesn't understand social interactions that well. Like as chat noir he sometimes forgets people have personal space and him confessing over and over again being overprotective. All Adrien has ever known is others making decisions for him. So yes his reaction to Marinette's actions is in his character. It is sad how much depth Adrien as character has and how kuch potential only for it to be thrown away
And i dont think its intentional either, he is juat ignoed, as characte rthat should be the heart of the show. It doesnt help the ship either, it just got worse. She could have been supportibe and he show he is sad about hat, but no, and given hoew Marinette is show, if there were something they would have shown it.
TBH…at least the release order isn’t as wild as it was previously. Like we’re still getting the first 5 episodes with 4/5 in order. Thats not terrible. As for the episode…Marinette freaking out over handing out all the Miraculous gave the same vibes in Sentibubbler when she thought Alya for some reason would betray her. But this time, it was a more reasonable panic.
I like that the heroes seem to be taking steps to try to find Lila while Lila is taking steps to make sure no one figures out her identity. It's like a weird game of cat and mouse. It makes both sides feel more active and I hope the writers handle it well as the season continues.
They’re gonna keep it because if they break up it’s possible but before anything. We know they are soulmates and endgame in all universes and even where they’re enemies the somehow like eachother. They will end up dating again
@@thatsnotokay i doubt they're breaking up bc of the intro lmao, like i dont see them making it a piece of the intro if they were gonna breakup for over one episode.
There is no way hey keep up her plans on the same level as her London special. That was the best one and she started off with the best. Such high expectations are gonna hurt in the long run
I thought this episode was decent, I love the idea of the other heros taking care of the civilians while Adrien and Marinette are doing their own thing. I love Lila’s way of akumatising people and I hope she doesn’t get caught straight away lol. Some of the characters new designs look great, some are just meh. I’m hoping this season is more serious.
Even if this *is* episode 2, it honestly felt more premiere-like than anything. 😅 Also, the new format is simply *fantastic* with this episode, especially with the akumatization parts and the story. 😁❤️
It makes sense when you think about Marinette and Adrien's relationship in this episode because while Adrien and Marinette finally got together in season 5, they still had many challenges. Gabriel and Tomoe did everything in their power, especially Gabriel, to get in between Adrien and Marinette's relationship. Then, the whole Lila and Chloe BS that they did and being forced apart in Revolution. They're still a new couple, and what happened in the London special Adrien needed time to grieve and move on from what happened to Gabriel. While Marinette was feeling guilty and had all the pressure to fix the miraculous, their relationship was probably put on hold until now. Also, copying what other couples are doing, I can relate 😂😂😂. But they must go at their own pace for their relationship to strengthen. My poor Nooroo. The fact that "Lila" is spying on/stalking them gives me the ick and shows how far she is willing to go to destroy Marinette.
@Meamery for petty reasons more so Lila believes that Marinette gets in her way with her plans and Marinette does have a life and personality that Lila constantly lies about
I hope when we get to the new school setting we maybe get to meet multiple new students so we the audience can potentially be kept on their toes trying to figure out who lila is among the new students. I also imagine once more info is revealed to the heroes lila might get an updated design for her superform, enjoyed the episode a lot and look forward to more
It did irk me a bit that we got the episodes out of order again and were missing some context. That threw me for a loop as I forgot that for a moment while watching it. Still, you had a good point about show casing what kind of victim Lila is willing to target. She is certainly a lot darker than Gab.
I think we’re gunna see a lot of Lila stalking Marinette and Adrien in the back ground The synopsis for season 6 literally says “Ladybug and Cat Noir must face a new enemy mysterious, worrying, elusive, and yet close to them. Very close, but they have no idea”
Didn't like it.. i found Marinette to be incredibly hard to watch.. i feel like she's even more hectic and over the top.. And Adrien being all like "sorry i can't be the boyfriend you deserve, so you can break up with me, i get it :(" after getting stood up multiple times, was really pissing me off. Like.. dude, have some self respect
After seeing the leaks of another season 6 episode with Marinette back to her old creepy stalker ways…I can honestly say this episode seems way better 😂
Tbf Adrian reacting like that is pretty in character. I mean this was a guy who had a helicopter dad for many years who was shown multiple times to be quite harsh towards him, so it's not surprise that Adrian has no self-respect. The Marinette thing I agree though is annoying. The thing that gets me is that near the end of the last season when they were dating, she wasn't like this so I don't get why she now suddenly has this struggle.
@@TheGreenThunder1607 Justice for Adrien, he deserves better. That new character that we I know nothing about (or do I)😉 would make a much better love interest. (Sublime)
How Marinette kept ditching Adrien really pissed me off. If you keep avoiding him throughout this whole season Terrornette. Adrien will break up with you! You have no one to fault but yourself! Get it together or so help me!
My honest opinion. It's gonna be a long time to get used to the new animation. But gotta admit the characters are with their new glowups and changes! 👏 Glad to also see it's still got its cringe but funny moments 😅
And the subtle way she said she’d give them the power “if they agree to it”. While she’s pretending to give them the option to consent, she’s guiding them in the direction of saying “yes”. Very creepy and smart
Frankly I'm glad they remembered that Alya wants to be a journalist, and seeing her investigating and interrogating people was his redemption after spending three seasons not believing her supposed best friend that Lila was a liar. And the ending already confirms that Marinette is going to be akumatized or lose the title of Guardian, either by the villain or by the Order of Guardians. And yeah...is hard to believe that Adrienette is even more cringe now, hard to believe they were more sociable and romantic in the first two seasons, heck even Season 3 Marinette had moments of dignity and Season 5 Adrien was less simp. One question: is the London Special canon? What happened to the guilt-depressed Marinette or the Adrien/Chat Noir resenting Ladybug for not saving his father or Kagami questioning Ladybug's leadership/reasoning? I would have liked to see more of that than Adrienette's millionth awkward date. At least, from the intro, we know that Alix will return to the present. The whole aura of mystery in the new villain is ruined because we already know who the new Hawk Moth is....a pathetic, mean little girl who hated Ladybug for revealing her obvious lies in the park; oh no, she's a bully of Marinette and was trying to steal Adrien from her; oh no, she's not even that, now she's some kind of demon with multiple identities, three mothers and with the power of the script at her hand...And the fans think we're hard on criticizing the show's erratic inconsistency!!!!
the london special happens between the main events of the s5 finale and the final scene of that episode, while i do think it'll be explored a bit here and there, its highly likely to be a main thing bc its possible Adrien at least accepts whats happened has happened. I do think maybe Marrinette panicking could be a guilt thing in the scene that she feels she isnt good enough for him due to the lying and therefore, shes overthinking and feeling like she has to be extremely perfect for him or smthn.
@paintingdreams290 Although it's more likely that Kagami and Felix told Adrien the truth off screen. Even the last scene with them in the London special gives me the feeling that Adrien knows more than he's letting on, that look during the hug when Ladybug told him she has a secret she can't tell him seems more frustration than confusion.
@@mayotango1317 i feel like Kagami knows not too bc that is a can of worms that now cant be opened without causing far more chaos. Kagami does say she disagrees but she accepts the decision, bc she somewhat gets why.
Hey we got good animation again, I am not complaining. Also, Lila consistently being the best part of Miraculous. She needs all the aspirin in the world for carrying this new season
I definitely think the animation has VASTLY improved. I'm still not super sold on their designs (I miss classic Alya 😢), but, I'm sure they'll grow on me. The backgrounds are gorgeous and the new way the characters interact with the "villains" is compelling. I love the fact that both Adrien AND Marinette know that Nino and Alya are super heroes and can cover for them. I love that there are new rules that allow the heroes to use their powers at will except for when they fight actual villains, and that everyone is settling comfortably into their new roles. ...and then there's Marinette. She has regressed. She has regressed SO MUCH! She is back to being grossly cringe! It was so hard to watch her buffoonery! Thank goodness for Alya, the real hero of the show! ...speaking of, Marinette asking Alya to be her successor is fantastic...but also ominously cryptic. That doesn't bode well for the future. 😢
OH! One other thing: The fact that the little girl gave "Ladybug" a picture that she drew of her, that ADRIEN/CAT NOIR saw, that Marinette later taped to her personal diary...is going to bite her in the butt later in the series. That's my guess. If I had to bet; Adrien will somehow come across the diary, realize that Marinette is Ladybug, this causes a massive rift between them, Marinette breaks down, and it's at this point that she gives up being the Guardian and Alya takes over. Now, I don't think the switch will be permanent, but I bet it happens. The story points are set up very neatly for this to take place. 😮
@paul11-f9eShould we? During the end of season 5 and the special episode she was acting completely different. Like, compare the „epilogue“ of the final episode to this mess. How does this make sense?
Gabriel got defeated, but there's still Cerise who is dangerous and possible future villains like Majestia's evil sister who was mentioned in Timetagger.
Because there's still a new hawkmoth more powerful and smarter than Gabe. If they revealed their identity now plus with Lila stalking them then it would be game over at some point one of them would slip up.
I thought of an idea for chrysalis to also have her own team of evil miraculous users. The animal themes I currently thought about include a coyote miraculous holder, an anglerfish miraculous holder, a spider miraculous holder, a bat miraculous holder, a Tasmanian Devil miraculous holder, a caracal miraculous holder, a scorpion miraculous holder, a cheetah miraculous holder, An hyena miraculous holder, an octopus miraculous holder, an orca miraculous holder, an hedgehog miraculous holder, a vulture miraculous holder, an axolotl miraculous holder, a flea themed miraculous holder, a praying mantis miraculous holder and a jackal miraculous holder. All want to get rid of the heroes but have different end goals and ideas that interfere with the other members' ideas. Some want to use the wish for various reasons, some see/feel that the heroes are stagnators who won't let people like them do as they want and some just want to cause bad. Each one is also a personal enemy/arch nemesis to one of the heroes: Ladybug-chrysalis Cat Noir-caracal miraculous user Rena Rogue-Psycoyote Carapace-hedgehog miraculous user Vesperia-scorpion miraculous user Ryuko-jackal miraculous holder Pigella-arachnophobia Purple tigress-cheetah miraculous user King monkey-hahahyena Minotaurox-orca miraculous user Polymouse-vulture miraculous holder Caprikid-tasmanian devil miraculous holder Rooster bold-bat miraculous holder Miss hound-flea miraculous holder Bunnyx-axolotl miraculous holder Argos-anglerfish miraculous holder Pegasus-octopus miraculous holder Viperion-praying mantis miraculous user Except for Chrysalis, the other holders' costumes have a more animalistic/beast-like/feral appearance compared to the heroes.
0:31 in the Brazilian Portuguese dub Adrien is voiced by Fabrício Vila Verde, who is also the Brazilian Portuguese voice of tuffnut and gruffnut in "dragons: ride of berserk" and vesemir in "the Witcher: night of the world".
To be fair, Marinette knows the new Butterfly Miraculous user wants to make a wish. She does not, however, know what in the world Lila wants to wish for.
As cool as some of this sounds I'm so ANGRY AND MAD they didn't make this a Nathaniel episode! Would have fit so well with the name and all. And even the whole doubledate thing maybe cause he's with Marc now? Truely disappointed right now.... I already had a feeling he will get even less screentime (which is crazy since it was already way to less) because he is like THE ONLY ONE from their class that goes to a different school now. If they missed the chance here I think it's over.... Dude e en his superhero Form could have been used here! Like it's literally drawing objects and making them reality! Way to much wasted Potential here...
The animation at times made me think I was watching a different show it’s definitely going to take some time to get use to. Also I love the new akumatization scene it’s so cool
It’s good and all but… I HATE ADRIEN’S HAIR??! LIKE WHA? Why can’t he have for layers, like.. Chat Noir’s hair looks great! Why can’t Adrien’s be more like that? 😤 Jesus Christ man..
My favorite moment in this episode and season so far because there’s only been one episode so far is when Tikki says “Marinette, I don’t understand. You have everything you’ve always wanted, Adrien is your boyfriend. You have a team who can handle any issue in Pairs, which gives you more time to be with Adrien. So why do you want to turn into Ladybug right now?” honestly when i heard Tikki say that i was thinking “Is she also watching this episode?” because honestly i was thinking the exact same thing that Tikki told Marinette
a crazy "deputy" for Cat Noir would be Chloe - family friend - childhood friend - already burned her bridges so there's honesty in her bluntness than the rest - understands his life better than most - can trust her by that would certainly be a twist, like Nino is too obvious, Zoe already did, and no one else really is a canidate
It was a good episode, I like the animation, except for Adrien. When looking at the model, it looks like his head is almost a little small for the rest of his body. This animation really seems to give him broader shoulders which is natural seeing that he’s growing up. Idk his model is the only one I feel like they slacked on.
Brazil did it again! We were wating that Gloob would give us the brand new episode, but we thought that they wouldn't give us this, but they did it, and it was amazing.
2:32 very random but I worked on the season 6 and I am the one who make made these Hawk moth sketches (amount other things but-) and I still have a hard time processing that i took part in the making of the serie I’ve been a fan of it for almost 10 years and grew up with. Anyways just wanted to share this, and I’m happy that you like the animation cause all the team worked so hard to glow up this season 6 🫶🏼
The eyebags on Marinette at the begining of the episode shows just how much the animation has stepped up, also props to Cristina Vee (Marinette's VA) still blows my mind that Tulin, Verosika, and Miyabi are all voiced by her aswell such range 👏 (Edit) I mixed up the VA's shout out to the 2 people who replied correcting me
I don't think he needs to be the sucessor, but It feels weird, because Adrien and Marinette should be something like the brain and the brawns, one is super smart and creative, while the other is strong and a great fighter, something like Batman and Superman, but Adrien/Cat Noir character feels so pointless since season 4 and 5 that it's just weird, it doesn't looks like he holds one of the two most important and greatest power in the universe, he should be much more important and stronger than he is shown, because right now, Adrien/Cat Noir is just there, i don't even expect them to make something great with him at this point, problably Alya will be the new coprotagonist
not to mention the HOW MANY people that lead into Gab plan during the finale of season 5 with the Rings, i know it wasn't full akumatization but that's still Thousands, maybe Millions of people under Gab control
Instead of a "Marinette loses her memories" storyline, wouldnt it be possible for it to be a "Akumatised Marinette" storyline where tikki is forced to leave her?
I have a theory that Anti Akumas that we will see be used by Chrysalis could disable miraculous abilities like destroying shields of Shelter, objects of Genesis or even possibly destroy Senti Monsters. I also think a way to block Anti Akumas is upgrading into Aqua,Ice or Space Forms becuz it will obviously nullify the effects of magical upgrades but you can still use Miraculous powers. I think Anti Akumas could destroy Senti monsters either by hitting Argos or just hitting the Senti monster itself. Same for Carapace & Caprikid. I think only Rooster & Peacock Miraculous could counter Anti Akumas by granting special powers like immunity to all Butterfly Miraculous based powers or creating Senti monster like Strike Back respectively or the Monkey Miraculous could possibly disable the ability of Anti Akuma Creation or Resistance being Anti Akuma proof becuz it’s an ability of a Miraculous.
@RafiHossain-fz3yh It's actually shown in the official Miraculous Ladybug TH-cam channel's trailer that there's a scene where Space Powerup Chat gets hit by the Antikuma and he loses his wings and falls out of the sky.
Not even the new season could break the tradition of Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/ Chat Noir yapping it up in the cinema 💀 it happens every single season 😭
Gonna be honest, I felt absolutely TERRIFIED about the ending scene where Marinette made Alya her deputy. Especially because one of the future episodes are called "Lady Chaos" If my memory serves correctly. I have a fear eating away that this may be Marinettes last season that we get to see her in, but then I remember that back in Timetagger, it is made clear she is still Ladybug far into the future. (At least far enough to the point where there are NAMED villains that are mentioned, such as pain and tears, moisure rat, etc.) It does spark some serious questions for me though, such as will we truly see the first Marinette true akumitization this season? What truly is going to happen. Overall, I am super hyped and this episode was amazing.
Omg I’m so happy about this This episode was a good debut but we all know it’s not the real debut but anyway Lila was being a good manipulator this episode like her tactics are amazing and the fact that she doesn’t just give you a name is amazing
Meanwhile, Gabriel naming the akumas himself ties into his view of being a fashion designer (see "Pretension") in the sense that he's in control, "he makes people."
your giving this episode way to much credit! tbh Gabe left us to soon I think honestlly he had way more character depth and personality than Lila, also again. thiis animatiion just whyyyyyy!?!?
Honestly, I agree that Adrien shouldn’t be Ladybug’s deputy but it’s so irritating watching her make big decisions like that without at least updating him again. Maybe she does it later but it personally makes me worried about how much attention the duo is going to get
seeing how its slightly out of order, it just seems like episode one was likely ready around well now. We know the first batch was finished by Christmas, so my assumption is they scheduled what they had as it was only one episode.
I love this episode. The new updated animation is gorgeous. It does feel like a world that you can step into. I love seeing the other heroes trying to go on about to save the day, from getting a cat out of a tree to putting out a fire. It does feel like the DC comic's Young Justice in the Miraculous world. Come to think of it, this episode makes me want to see more of the U.S. Miraculous team put together! Where's our spin-off? Lyla is a great villain. I love that she's so clever and manipulative from the shadows. It makes her duplicity even more threatening and sinister. I hope that when the time has come for her villainess debut look, her design and name would be cool! Personally for me, I'm leaning in the name of Swallowtail, since her akuma/ultrakuma resembles a swallowtail 🦋 butterfly 😊
I caved in and watched the episode, even though I wanted to wait for the first one. I loved it, but I didn't like Marinette in it. Also, WTF? Adrien knows Rena Rouge and Carapace's identities now?!
Looks like Marinette's back to being cringey. Yeah, that's kind of in her character, but it felt a bit like backwards character development for me. At the end she says being in a relationship is new to her, hence she's unsure how to behave. Somewhat true, but in season 5 she's already been quite close to Adrien for some time. On top of that, she's literally been in a relationship with Luka further back, so it's not like she's completely blind on the topic. And Alya becoming Marinette's successor as the guardian, honestly was no surprise to me. She's theoretically already been there since "Optigami", this is just an official confirmation. But at the same time, this could be foreshadowing Marinette will be akumatized this season. (episode "Lady Chaos", much?)
About that one with the art box, it makes no sense when marinette has gotten lucky charm boxes filled with its equipment, like in queen banana, or in pharaoh with the ladybug box
I see so many people saying they don’t like Nathanial’s new design, but I actually think it’s an incredibly adorable glow up for an artist character. Like Nathanial and his hero costume are easily my favourite of the new looks.
Really enjoyed the episode hope they can really make this a great season. As for Adrien I want to have a little hope but I have come to terms with him being a Ken doll. 😭
I must say that I love the fact that Alya and Nino don’t hide their identities from Adrien and Marinette (I know marinette knew already but still) I have a good feeling that later in the series we might see Adrien, Kagami, Marinette, and Felix hanging out based on previous interactions with the original trio which will definitely be interesting since both Kagami and Felix know Marinette is ladybug I also really like how the 2 couples are so similar with reversed roles Marinette and Felix are both very smart whereas Adrien and Kagami aren’t as advanced as them yet they even out because of who they match with
Fun fact, theres a brazillian VA who has a youtube channel, and a few years ago he and a few other vas (including the ones for marinette and adrien) played among us together. It genuenly looked like the characters arguing
The scene with Alya being the successor just foreshadows to me that Lila is gonna find Marinette first forcing her to give up her guardian title until Lila is defeated
1:47 this was when he akumatized a baby, but he was so desperate and stupid enough to realize you can't control a baby who doesn't know the majority of what you are saying let alone what Miraculous' and jewels are, and their concentration is in playing and lollypops Oh and someone gave him a lollipop for him to know what it was and the mother needs to find out whose giving him a lollypop 😅
Already, I love the animation, the story, and the story. But what made me extra happy is that some heroes have suit upgrades, which was a must-need. There were 3 hero suits I wasn't too fond of, and after seeing the intro and the show so far, I'm so glad they fixed them. Which suits were you glad there was an upgrade/fix? Mine was the Rooster, the Dog, and the Ox. When I first saw them, they needed another draft and I'm so glad they did.
I think my favorite part was seeing the other heroes start taking care of non-akuma emergencies. Already this show has better world building. It’s like each character can think for themselves which is refreshing to see. More background characters too. Paris doesn’t just consist of Andre, the mayor, and Jagged. I hope they keep this up.
I'm still getting a hold of the superhero identity things and who knows who: -Marinette knows Alya is Rena Rouge and Nino is Carapace, but doesn't know Adrien is Chat Noir (so thinks everyone but Adrien is a superhero) -Adrien knows Alya is Rena Rouge and Nino is Carapace, but doesn't know Marinette is Ladybug (so thinks everyone but Marinette is a superhero) -Alya knows that Marinette is Ladybug and Nino is Carapace, but doesn't know Adrien is Chat Noir (so thinks everyone but Adrien is a superhero) -Nino knows Alya is Rena Rouge, but doesn't know Marinette and Adrien are Ladybug and Chat Noir (so thinks only him and Alya are superheroes) So confusing! But one things stays consistent- nobody knows who Adrien/Chat Noir is.
I thought it was okay. Could have been better, maybe getting episode 1 might have helped but who knows. The animation seemed a lot darker than the old style. Not saying it was bad but it was different. But Ryoko looked really dark. Hopefully we’ll get a better version of her in the future and it was a choice to have that scene that dark.
If you're looking for the episode, Disney has uploaded it in full on TH-cam: th-cam.com/video/U9i-Kk8GjPU/w-d-xo.html

He's so me I can't 😭 that moment hurt because I felt it in my soul
Or maybe it’s because Marinette sucks
Nobody would have a problem with Alya becoming the substitute guardian if Adrien was given the protagonism that he deserved when it mattered.
We don't even see Adrien overcome the five stages of grief or be comforted by his friends, or show resentment towards Ladybug for not "saving" his obviously cruel father.
Nah, who needs that when we get another awkward Adrienette date!!
@@mayotango1317 this isn't the actual first episode so *maybe* we just haven't seen it but I would be surprised if that happens
I don't think he needs to be the sucessor, but he should be much more important and stronger than he is shown
@AmeliaGamerTag56Biddlecom Poor and naive kid....the show never cares Adrien.

😂😂😂😂😂. Kinda miss him.
@@mjcox242 i think, at least in the english dub, her masculine voice might be adrien's voice actor. it has the same gentle intonation

Polymouse design is the best upgrade so far. And yes, Lila is such a threat, omg the stakes are SO high, I’m definitely hyped, but we deserved a proper release this time Gloob remains our biggest opp.
Vesperia's is the best .
I do love her hair turning into the mouse ears, that’s pretty creative. Minotaurox and Purple Tigress got cool upgrades as well imo
@@RelanTheManyes definitely these two are excellent and definitely making it to the top 3 in terms of upgrade.
I prefer the old Polymouse design
Cat Noir's design (in my opinion) the best so far.
Ryuko’s new suit is awesome! Her hair as well! She looks actually like a dragon now!
Ikr! I love her hair soooooo much. 🤓😆
I agree 100% I love the hair spikes. Also another slept on design upgrade was Minotaurox
@ DEFINITELY.
I Total Agree 💯 Percent! Ryuko's looks incredible 😍
IKR!!!! its my favourite out of all the redesigns
So no one has talked about this, but Lisa Key Jennings, Lila's voice actor, was listed as "Chrysalis" in the end credits. So while the heroes do not know the holder of the Butterfly Miraculous' name, we do.
I find it funny how it was said only 212 people were akumatized by Gabe when the whole world was akumatized in the finale of season 5
Weren’t they technically miraculized?
They weren't akumatized. They were Miraculized. No akumas were used.
they werent akumatized
i think she meant the person not the world idk
It's even funnier that he lost that many times within the span of a few months. That's not even including repeats
@@lockskelington314 That would be a better idea than just “I hate ladybug because she exposed me. 👺”
Same
They look like even younger when they should be older, literal baby faces.
Somehow, the 3D is so HD, yet, the movements and expressions all feel so emotionless. I'm having a hard time.
I believe so because I’m the London special ladybug said she’s gonna “upgrade” all the miraculouses

The fact that Adrien didn't get a new outfit is crazy. The show really feels more like a Ladybug series rather than a Ladybug and Chatnoir series TT-TT
I'm surprised you only noticed now when this was very obvious and clear from season 4 specifically.
He did change, he has more details now. Having such small changes doesnt have anything to do with being forgotten, as Argos and Bunnix didnt had any changes to their designs. They simply didnt touch on the outfits that were already good because the goal was to improve the bad and boring ones, those 3 mentioned above are probably among the most popular ones, there is no reason to change them that much
At least he got a new hair cut i think
Adrien has just lost his dad, Marinette just ditching him mid date twice is heartless.
She could have been supportibe and he show he is sad about hat, but no,
and given hoew Marinette is show, if there were something they would have shown it.
Omg this reminded me how off the release order for season 3 was...
I like that the heroes seem to be taking steps to try to find Lila while Lila is taking steps to make sure no one figures out her identity. It's like a weird game of cat and mouse. It makes both sides feel more active and I hope the writers handle it well as the season continues.
Help, imagine if Adrinette breaks up, what are they gonna do with that intro 💀🙏
Oh maybe we are having that other intro that was leaked
They’re gonna keep it because if they break up it’s possible but before anything. We know they are soulmates and endgame in all universes and even where they’re enemies the somehow like eachother. They will end up dating again
@@1co293 eh, true
But it's still Adrinette legit kissing in the intro, so if they break up, it'd be a little awkward

Hopefully Cerise isn't as smooth brain as her predecessor in this season.
Eh. She probably won't be. If anything, smooth brained writing comes from bullshit plot armour. Good thing there's none here, that I can see.
Well, judging by her silhouette, she’s already in smooth brain territory😂

I love Lila’s way of akumatising people and I hope she doesn’t get caught straight away lol.
Some of the characters new designs look great, some are just meh.
I’m hoping this season is more serious.
When Mari says she dosnet know what the new Hawkmoth wants, I assume she means, she dosnet know what wish they want
Even if this *is* episode 2, it honestly felt more premiere-like than anything. 😅
Also, the new format is simply *fantastic* with this episode, especially with the akumatization parts and the story.
Where did you see Lila?
@nevamorsmt8287 it was after the end card
Why does she hate marionette so much again
@Meamery for petty reasons more so Lila believes that Marinette gets in her way with her plans and Marinette does have a life and personality that Lila constantly lies about
Yes but they had motives , yes its terrible parents reasons, but its reasons, Why the hell is Lila stalking Marinette harder that Mari Adrien.
I will say the lucky charm doesn't feel as special now that Ladybug can do it over and over again
I think we’re gunna see a lot of Lila stalking Marinette and Adrien in the back ground
The synopsis for season 6 literally says “Ladybug and Cat Noir must face a new enemy mysterious, worrying, elusive, and yet close to them.
So I’m confused. Are you upset because Adrien is blaming himself for Marinette’s terrible choices? Or are you upset he’s still giving her a chance?
@FeligamiAdrizoeSworaDooplivian both tbh
She’d rather stalk him than actually spending time with him. Make it make sense 😂
Marinette is still a stalker 😱 so in other words water is wet…
The fact that smarty pants only has 5k views on his latest miraculous video is really telling…
My heart nearly cracked at the end when they're at the movies, and he thought it was because of something he did 😢😢

My honest opinion. It's gonna be a long time to get used to the new animation. But gotta admit the characters are with their new glowups and changes! 👏 Glad to also see it's still got its cringe but funny moments 😅
Nuruu is so cooked💀 hope at least she lets him eat after detransforming. Pray for lil bro🙏
The fact that heros are spawning everywhere in Paris is kinda funny, imagine irl there 17 heroes spawning everywhere in the city 😂😂
I'm just imagining someone robbing a food truck or something and then just seeing a army of heros to stop him
@pharolbeast-rx5sh ikr like I have talked abt this with so many people before imagine 18 heroes beating up 1 single villain will be crazy
Watched it a couple of hours ago and was excited to hear your input:)
The bit of letting the villain pick their own name is so clever for a manipulator like Lila. I’m genuinely impressed by the writing here
And the subtle way she said she’d give them the power “if they agree to it”.
@paintingdreams290
It's not so different from his usual panic attacks she's had around Adrien throughout the series, but more cartoonish.
@paintingdreams290
Although it's more likely that Kagami and Felix told Adrien the truth off screen. Even the last scene with them in the London special gives me the feeling that Adrien knows more than he's letting on, that look during the hug when Ladybug told him she has a secret she can't tell him seems more frustration than confusion.
Do you just watch the show to complain?
OH! One other thing:
The fact that the little girl gave "Ladybug" a picture that she drew of her, that ADRIEN/CAT NOIR saw, that Marinette later taped to her personal diary...is going to bite her in the butt later in the series. 😮
marinette was so cringe this episode she literally pissed me off
True
Fr
at this point we should expect this sadly 😭😭😭
that's the point
@paul11-f9eShould we? During the end of season 5 and the special episode she was acting completely different. Like, compare the „epilogue“ of the final episode to this mess. How does this make sense?
WAIT, one thing that wasn't mentioned is that ladybug calls these "Ultrakumas" during the de-evilizing part!
I’m guessing that’ll be explained in episode 1
gabe had those super akumas to combat ladybufs lucky charm charms that made akumatized victims unable to be akumatized
Honestly, now that Gabe has been defeated…what’s the point of hiding their identities from each other anymore 🤷♀️
Adrien will get treated even worse in this season because the story doesn't respect him enough to include him when it matters.
Each one is also a personal enemy/arch nemesis to one of the heroes:
Ladybug-chrysalis
Cat Noir-caracal miraculous user
Rena Rogue-Psycoyote
Carapace-hedgehog miraculous user
Vesperia-scorpion miraculous user
Ryuko-jackal miraculous holder
Pigella-arachnophobia
Purple tigress-cheetah miraculous user
King monkey-hahahyena
Minotaurox-orca miraculous user
Polymouse-vulture miraculous holder
Caprikid-tasmanian devil miraculous holder
Rooster bold-bat miraculous holder
Miss hound-flea miraculous holder
Bunnyx-axolotl miraculous holder
Argos-anglerfish miraculous holder
Pegasus-octopus miraculous holder
Viperion-praying mantis miraculous user
Except for Chrysalis, the other holders' costumes have a more animalistic/beast-like/feral appearance compared to the heroes.
If there are going to be more miraculous animals, all I want is a chameleon miraculous that can turn invisible
I actually really liked this episode, and I feel like all of them got a glow up in some way, imo the show looks much better now
0:31 in the Brazilian Portuguese dub Adrien is voiced by Fabrício Vila Verde, who is also the Brazilian Portuguese voice of tuffnut and gruffnut in "dragons: ride of berserk" and vesemir in "the Witcher: night of the world".
To be fair, Marinette knows the new Butterfly Miraculous user wants to make a wish. She does not, however, know what in the world Lila wants to wish for.
Well she didn't know Gabe's wish till the very end
Adrien put too much hair gel on 😂
My favorite moment in this episode and season so far because there’s only been one episode so far is when Tikki says “Marinette, I don’t understand. You have everything you’ve always wanted, Adrien is your boyfriend. You have a team who can handle any issue in Pairs, which gives you more time to be with Adrien. So why do you want to turn into Ladybug right now?” honestly when i heard Tikki say that i was thinking “Is she also watching this episode?” because honestly i was thinking the exact same thing that Tikki told Marinette
a crazy "deputy" for Cat Noir would be Chloe
- family friend - childhood friend - already burned her bridges so there's honesty in her bluntness than the rest - understands his life better than most - can trust her by that
would certainly be a twist, like Nino is too obvious, Zoe already did, and no one else really is a canidate
Gabriel was the best 90s cartoon villain spoof in history. He will be missed.
15:20 The show was meant to be an anime, so it makes sense that they would.
It was a good episode, I like the animation, except for Adrien. When looking at the model, it looks like his head is almost a little small for the rest of his body. This animation really seems to give him broader shoulders which is natural seeing that he’s growing up. Idk his model is the only one I feel like they slacked on.
Also his chin and forehead proportions look whack as 😭 without his bangs I’m scared to see how he looks

The eyebags on Marinette at the begining of the episode shows just how much the animation has stepped up, also props to Cristina Vee (Marinette's VA) still blows my mind that Tulin, Verosika, and Miyabi are all voiced by her aswell such range 👏
(Edit) I mixed up the VA's shout out to the 2 people who replied correcting me

Millions? Nah, it's Billions of people, Gabe literally brainwashed the whole world
Instead of a "Marinette loses her memories" storyline, wouldnt it be possible for it to be a "Akumatised Marinette" storyline where tikki is forced to leave her?
I have a theory that Anti Akumas that we will see be used by Chrysalis could disable miraculous abilities like destroying shields of Shelter, objects of Genesis or even possibly destroy Senti Monsters.
I also think a way to block Anti Akumas is upgrading into Aqua,Ice or Space Forms becuz it will obviously nullify the effects of magical upgrades but you can still use Miraculous powers.
I think Anti Akumas could destroy Senti monsters either by hitting Argos or just hitting the Senti monster itself.
Same for Carapace & Caprikid.
I think only Rooster & Peacock Miraculous could counter Anti Akumas by granting special powers like immunity to all Butterfly Miraculous based powers or creating Senti monster like Strike Back respectively or the Monkey Miraculous could possibly disable the ability of Anti Akuma Creation or Resistance being Anti Akuma proof becuz it’s an ability of a Miraculous.
is Chrysalis her confirmed villain name?
@RafiHossain-fz3yh It's actually shown in the official Miraculous Ladybug TH-cam channel's trailer that there's a scene where Space Powerup Chat gets hit by the Antikuma and he loses his wings and falls out of the sky.
@@voidsthread Yes it is.
I wonder if it could affect Ivan since his powers is basically like no other powers can affect him🤔
@@Dred0n Ivan's Resistance should be immune to the Antikumas.
ik ppl hate the animation now but ina years time they will look back and be grateful we have this one
I was WAITINGGG for this video!! so excited!
I found it interesting that all the heroes are shown to be able to use their powers limitlessly, implying they grew up like Lb and Cn
Why is Marinette even MORE annoying than normally? Like omg girl stop being cringe for one second
Not even the new season could break the tradition of Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/ Chat Noir yapping it up in the cinema 💀
it happens every single season 😭
Omg I’m so happy about this
This episode was a good debut but we all know it’s not the real debut but anyway Lila was being a good manipulator this episode like her tactics are amazing and the fact that she doesn’t just give you a name is amazing
Meanwhile, Gabriel naming the akumas himself ties into his view of being a fashion designer (see "Pretension") in the sense that he's in control, "he makes people."
your giving this episode way to much credit! tbh Gabe left us to soon I think honestlly he had way more character depth and personality than Lila, also again. thiis animatiion just whyyyyyy!?!?
all of that is just your opinion
Honestly, I agree that Adrien shouldn’t be Ladybug’s deputy but it’s so irritating watching her make big decisions like that without at least updating him again. Maybe she does it later but it personally makes me worried about how much attention the duo is going to get
Lila as the butterfly miraculous holder genuinely gave me chills. Like it was SO CREEPY the way that she fully manipulated a child.
I’m so confused on why they’re releasing the episodes are out of order. Is there an actual reason?
Probably cause ep 1 isn’t finished yet
@@Solarisxpolaris So why not just wait till it’s finished?
@@d4red3v1l8 No idea
they did this for season 4 and 5
seeing how its slightly out of order, it just seems like episode one was likely ready around well now. We know the first batch was finished by Christmas, so my assumption is they scheduled what they had as it was only one episode.
i like how when Alya and Marinette texted they used their designs from the little chibi shorts they have been doing on disney channel
This episode really was better than I expected.
BUT I agree with you, Marinette needs that therapy😂
I loved it, but I didn't like
Marinette in it. Also, WTF? Adrien knows Rena Rouge and Carapace's identities now?!
That happened in illusion last season
@@AmandaPrice-f8c, I haven't seen that.
@@AmandaPrice-f8c Actually 🤓, Nino told Adrien about his and Alya’s secret identities in _Rocketear_ from Season 4.
Hm.. i originally decided to end my time with the show at the end of the first saga. But sir SmartyPants, you have changed my mind.
I was skeptical about the style change but after watching the episode it's not that bad.
Thank GOD that Season 6 is not written JUST by Astruc but new writer!
Wait rlly it's not just Astruc anymore 🤩???
@dracleoona Astruc, Sébastien Thibaudeau and a third person were credited for writing the script for this episode.
This guy is to this series what Chris Chibnall was for Doctor Who and Leslye Headland for Star Wars.
Omg I actually forgot that miraculous existed and I didn't even know that season six had released!
Really enjoyed the episode hope they can really make this a great season. As for Adrien I want to have a little hope but I have come to terms with him being a Ken doll. 😭
13:53 I feel like this is foreshadowing that her father is gonna get akumatized. Dang!
I must say that I love the fact that Alya and Nino don’t hide their identities from Adrien and Marinette (I know marinette knew already but still)
I have a good feeling that later in the series we might see Adrien, Kagami, Marinette, and Felix hanging out based on previous interactions with the original trio which will definitely be interesting since both Kagami and Felix know Marinette is ladybug
I also really like how the 2 couples are so similar with reversed roles Marinette and Felix are both very smart whereas Adrien and Kagami aren’t as advanced as them yet they even out because of who they match with
Fun fact, theres a brazillian VA who has a youtube channel, and a few years ago he and a few other vas (including the ones for marinette and adrien) played among us together. It genuenly looked like the characters arguing
The scene with Alya being the successor just foreshadows to me that Lila is gonna find Marinette first forcing her to give up her guardian title until Lila is defeated
1:47 this was when he akumatized a baby, but he was so desperate and stupid enough to realize you can't control a baby who doesn't know the majority of what you are saying let alone what Miraculous' and jewels are, and their concentration is in playing and lollypops
Oh and someone gave him a lollipop for him to know what it was and the mother needs to find out whose giving him a lollypop 😅
Marinette was a bad girlfriend this episode …..
I'm still getting a hold of the superhero identity things and who knows who:
-Marinette knows Alya is Rena Rouge and Nino is Carapace, but doesn't know Adrien is Chat Noir (so thinks everyone but Adrien is a superhero)
-Adrien knows Alya is Rena Rouge and Nino is Carapace, but doesn't know Marinette is Ladybug (so thinks everyone but Marinette is a superhero)
-Alya knows that Marinette is Ladybug and Nino is Carapace, but doesn't know Adrien is Chat Noir (so thinks everyone but Adrien is a superhero)
-Nino knows Alya is Rena Rouge, but doesn't know Marinette and Adrien are Ladybug and Chat Noir (so thinks only him and Alya are superheroes)
So confusing! But one things stays consistent- nobody knows who Adrien/Chat Noir is.
7:20 it was shown that the entire system of the tram was shut down because of the incident so the driver couldn't open the doors.
