- Using Crab Nets and Hand Lines to catch Louisiana Blue Crabs on a public pier! Drake, Cullen, and I had a blast catching and cooking some crabs. Even though Tara didn't get to come play with us, she got to enjoy the fruits of our labor!😜

I remember my Dad taking me fishing. We had an old cypress boat that was heavy and when it had been in the water for a while, I guess that old cypress wood would drink some water and taking that thing out of the water was a chore. We had a homemade trailer made out of a car rear end and washing machine rollers to load and unload that baby. We had a 6 hp Wizard motor. I turned 83 today and this brings back some great memories. These young boys will never forget these memories you are making with them. This is parenting 101 and if parents would take the time to make this kind of memories with their children, this world would be such a different place. GREAT JOB!

Gotta say something about a man spending time with his boys. Whether they're yours or not brother, it suits America well spending valuable time with the young men who will one day be the leader of their own family. Very proud of what you all are representing. Pure, wholesome and encouraging content. As a God fearing man I say blessings to you brother. Also I think it was a good break from Tara for one episode but I hope you don't make it a habit. Great trip with the boys. My son brought me a crate of crabs Saturday. I boiled them and my wife and I picked a large butter bowl and a cool whip bowl of crab meat. She said she is going to make stuffed crabs and stuffed shrimp. I told you about the stuffed shrimp before. I can’t wait for her to make them. Thanks for sharing your trip with us and have a great day.😀😀
I moved away before the Katrina I used to out in the bayou I miss it so much 😢 catching 5gal buckets of shrimp, crabs and Red fish 😢 thank you for making these videos I can feel your videos I wish I could be there , love your family you guys are amazing 💖💖💖💖

I learned how to tell if there are gators in the water in Louisiana today! The lady said if you put your hand in the water and it's wet, theirs gators for sure! I thought it was funny! God Bless!!

Any day fishing or crabbing is a great day. A day fishing or crabbing with a two good boys, that’s a fun adventure.
I get melancholic when i see those 2 boys fishing. It reminds me me of the good old days when i was young and had ZERO worries besides catching a fish in summer hollidays. NO cellphones and internet.. Just chilling with your buddies with a fishing rod and ZERO stress and lots of fun.
@@ThirstyTunaTaco those were the good ole days! Miss living down the bayou fishing in front of the house. We live with a man made pond in the backyard and he is ALWAYS trying to catch fish in the pond if there isn’t any lily pads covering the pond

You are a Good Dad. I used to do this with my 4 kids and used to take em with me Commercial Crabbing also. They had more fun pullin Chicken Necks. Bet Celine wished she was there. Can't wait to do this with my Grandson (almost 2) and another Grandchild due any day now. PRAISE JESUS. LOVE FROM CRABBY DADDY HERE IN SOUTHERN MARYLAND
The kids always have a blast doing the string lines. A lot of times the hand lines work better than the nets.

I fished all that marsh before they had levies. When they still had land. Also could rabbit hunt off the isle of jean Charles road. that was back in the day when i learned i wasn't a duck or rabbit hunter....lol

Great times. wish id of know yall was there, we was out there Saturday morning at #3 dam where that couple had just left, we caught 2 bushels from 6am to 9am, hopefully one day well cross wakes lol
We were actually heading to that dam but decided to hang out where we were. Less crabs but we had the whole place to ourselves. I'm sure we will cross paths at some point. Thank you!

Good one! I brought my son and his friend camp, fish, run jugs, and I think the best time they had was chasing jugs lines. I Need bring them crabbing, I love teaching them how to survive outside.

Couldn't help but wonder what Kieth and the crew were up to this weekend and turns out y'all was crabbing in the marsh. Sure looked like fun and bet they tasted good too !
Love them steamed, boiled , or fried (soft shell or hard) , but one of my favorites is she crab soup. Looked like a good time.
Just learned that frozen ungutted whole squirrels are the way to go for crab bait

Grew up eating squirrels, coons, rabbits and whatever we could clean and eat, money was scarce, but learned to eat and be thankful for what we had!!
