i'm so glad more and more bands are bringing back that old school deathcore sound that i love. i'm a fan of both the new and old versions of deathcore, but there's something in old school that hits different. no vocal gymnastics, no bullshit, no excuses, no unnecessary cleans, just pure nastiness. love this to bits, one of my fav EPs of the year
@@Chief_Ten_BearsI got curious and did some digging, sounds like a phone call from september 11th. The one in Beaten Beyond Identification is a real 911 call as well.
This is some of the best deathcore ive heard in a while! I love the pinch harmonics. They make me giggle. The 808 bass drop breakdowns are epic af! I hope to see yall live oneday. Cheers
This is the best recording since The Cleansing. Finally the analogue sound is back. Fuck the digital staleness this genre is usually plagued by. Massive probs. Best Deathcore since the MySpace era.
I'v had this on repeat going to work and I can say with confidence this is the best metal album for this genre in a decade. Such a breath of fresh air. From the artwork to the music, the video the vocals. 10 out of 10 it's incredible
Now THIS is real deathcore. Not that bullshit with mindless chugs, nauseating symphonic compositions, and momentum breaking breakdowns made to show off how many noises the vocalist can make. THIS is what the genre was meant to be. The riffs and brutality of death metal with the unhinged aggression of hardcore. Deathcore is so back
I agree with just about everything in your comment. However, I'm not mad about how dynamic vocalists have gotten in the past 10 years or so. I'm not talking about that Lorna shore BS but guys like Darius Teherani from "Spite" and Jason Gerhard from "Kanine" are prime examples of great vocalists from the current generation
@@Yogurt_Fingers this may blow your mind but the textbook definition of deathcore, the reason why its called "deathcore" in the first place, is because its meant to be a fusion of death metal and hardcore. cope all you want, but this IS the sound that started the genre, the sound that the biggest bands in the genre like Suicide Silence and Job For a Cowboy revolutionized. modern bands rarely have any ounce of hardcore, death metal, or both. doesn't mean they're bad, but they're a far cry from what the genre once sounded like
100% agree. While I do think it's neat that deathcore veered into what it has, it's getting tiring. This right here will never be tiring because it, fresh, original, aggressive and in your fucking face. I love this shit. Psycho-Frame is EASILY my favorite band at the moment without hesitation.

strayed away (not completely) from metal a while ago but i'm really glad to hear OG deathcore making a comeback. This shit slaps. Not overproduced, great vocals and classic breakdowns, actual riffs, this has all it needs.
God damn you guys are easily my favorite band from this year. RGS and ADP are some of the most refreshing tunes I've heard in years. You guys are fucking demolishing this shit and deserve nothing but the best. Can't wait to get my long sleeve and hoodie from you guys so I can flex that shit on everyone ❤
This is the real reason i got into deathcore back in 2006 and im so glad bands like this brought this sound back i was just starting to give up hope. I love you guys and my fellow brothers and sisters of the deathcore community you have all been more family to me than most blood relatives of mine. Deathcore for life stay brutal stay heavy stay savage
The 2000s emo & deathcore revival of the 2020's is so sick. Static Dress, Tactosa, Psycho Frame, Dying Wish, Boundaries, Year of the Knife, so much greatness coming out lately.
@@Kangugi It’s okay not to like them. I just hate that as soon as a band gets even a little big, they get so much hate. Sleep token, spiritbox, Lorna shore, just to name a few. Everyone has there own opinions though. Glad you enjoy psycho frame as much as I do
Dude This is so much better than today's crap like slaughter to prevail shadow of intent And other bands that honestly disgust me today, I'm glad that someone is finally making a good deathcore
Honestly slaughter to prevail never ever jumped into that low testosterone hipster blackened deathcore garbage thing, they always had that classic deathcore formula but yea some touch of numetal in some songs
Okay, don't get me wrong, this sounds great, but I just can't support the choice to sample a 9/11 phone call not only once, but TWICE as a pre-breakdown moment.
It's purpose is to elicit those strong, raw feelings. Don't think of it as disrespectful. It's like when a movie uses a 🍇ing scene, that scene is not to meant be disrespectful to those who have actually been 🍇'd in real life, its just an attempt to illustrate a very raw emotional response. Same as with deathcore 😊. Just my 2c, lol ❤
This is the kinda deathcore that got me into the genre in the first place. No gimmicks. Just being hard as shit.
