Revival? You been under a rock since '05 or something? I haven't stopped listening to Deathcore since All Shall Perish dropped their first album lol. It never died so revival is the wrong word to use. Ever since Lorna brought in Will Ramos I'd say more people are finally starting to actually pay attention to the subgenre overall.
@@malicioustactics6846 if you don’t know the difference between Lorna shore and this, you’re the one “living under a rock”. All shall perish isn’t even a band anymore, so that point makes no sense. (Do I still listen to them, yes.) there’s a certain tone and aesthetic when it comes to this, this is more like “MySpace deathcore” Lorna shore is overly polished and way more symphony fluffed.

Tom was okay but he's much better as Chelsea's vocalist and definitely amazing in Darko. Revival is still the wrong word to use because bands like Acacia Strain, Thy Art is Murder, Filth, Angelmaker, Carnifex, etc have stayed putting out records, you Deathcore "fans" just stopped listening apparently.

Couple of years ago we had Bodysnatcher. Some time later Thrown startet blasting as fuck. Now we have Peacemaker. CORE is coming back where it use to be, song below 2 minutes, simple riffs. Hell yeah!!!
@@tvw4951 I just don't vibe with the style but yeah, musically it's super tight and have to love the snare. Been much more into bdm and osdm lately but this definitely has the golden age of deathcore sound to it. More power to those that enjoy, seems like a killer release if you like this kind of thing. Didn't mean to come across as a hater y'all! Every so often I try deathcore again chasing that high I got from jfac Doom in highschool lol but it never hits for me like that and likely never will again
