      Yes the lyrics really take you on a (very dark) journey. You can notice his passion for horror games (P.T. and silent hill) in the subject matter

    Just wanna appreciate the fact that you not only got the lyrics here but you also kept the “God Only Knows” sample that’s missing on other platforms. Really holds “God Knows” and the artistic vision of the EP together!

    I liked Knocked Loose before I heard this album, but I didn't love them. After listing to this and actually paying attention to the lyrics, I have a new appreciation for their songs and style. This album is amazing and tells a brutal story of love and loss. Absolutely must be listened to as a whole

This band is fucking insane. Oh ya I also heard Deep in the Willow, that’s why I got turned onto Knocked Loose to begin with.

    I totally get OG suicide silence vibes mixed with their own sound and some more progressive elements. So dark. Heavy in every possible sense of the word. My ear drums quiver in fear whenever I get around to new knocked loose music.

    As a concept CD strange idea ? Intrigued me right off the bat . You guys nailed it in every way. Dealing with loss myself recently , the anxiety, lol not fun ..made me sad a few times on this brutal album . Great lyrics , great music ..Newest fan !!

    I wish it wasn’t so polished. I wish they would have recorded this EP like records where recorded 20 years ago. It definitely would have made it much grittier of a record.

      I disagree there, gritty production works well with some styles of metal, personally I think breakdowns sound heavier with better quality production and a nice thick guitar tone coming through, with production like they had in the 80s I don't think this would sound as hard hitting

    They were obviously listening to a lot of Meshuggah when this was recorded, but I'm glad they made something of their own out of it other than being a by-the-number djentcore band.
