I believe that the MITSUBISHI PAJERO is the most underated car by the so called specialized press. It is absolutely loved by its real owners, who can easily stay without start-stop or other tech gizmos, in exchange of great reliability, comfort, space for the family and cargo, power to tow caravans, wonderful capability off and on road, value for money and lots of other good reasons. I'm the proud owner of a PAJERO for 8 years, running on the often poorly kept roads of Brazil, and I have to say that it has NEVER let me down. It has brought me home safely EVERYTIME. Of course it needs maintenance every now and them, but it is normal for every machine. It is like a samurai warrior after battle. It keeps you safe and sound, but it warns you it needs repair by the way of strange sounds, or loss of power, but it keeps on running and brings you home nevertheless. Great and valuable car to have. One kind of car that the automobile industry does not wish to build anymore....because it does not brake .... We don't have to think on buying another one for years....
Panasony MicroOled . Yes it is a Diesel engine Pajero. I highly recommend to choose the Diesel Engine, because the Gasoline version spend soo much more fuel to run that it will pay the eventual difference in cost in a few years time. While the Diesel engine does 7 km/Liter in the city and around 11 km/Liter on the road, the gasoline engine does around 5km/L in the city and 7km/L on the road. I hope I've helped you. The Pajero Full is no longer in the market, but Mitsubishi still manufactures Pajero Sport.
Proud owner of a soon to be retired Australian 2004 NP Exceed 3.2 DID, we have travelled 350,000km , never left us stranded, with only a starter motor and alternator replaced in the past year (noticed a performance drop so replaced early). Yes, going for a later model NX, wifey wanted the Pajero Sport, will it give us a similar 350,000km trouble free run, who knows, proven reliability and interior space won out in the end. Typical Japanese build quality and a vehicle perfected over time. Terrible shame the model will likely cease production at some point soon....
Pajero4 is a solid vehicle and the best in its class especially for off-roading. I drove it across countries in a week of 5000kms with 0 issues. I drive in stock car, and changes tyres and shocks/bushes every 2 years (due to my driving style :) ). Last year i tried ironman shocks without lifting. the car has crossed 600.000 kms and still doing good. Very comfortable in long journey. And excellent safety features in par or superior to land cruiser. The automatic transmission and the engine is pretty solid... and the very reason they still manage to sell this product almost after 10 years of its launch shows how good this make is.
@@DMSProduktions I bought it already last year. 7 year old, I've done my timing belt, spark plug last year. Best car that I've driven. I've driven it off road and country roads. @@DMSProduktions it's the 3.8 exceed model mate. That's a good buy. Hope got the best deal. I live in sydney but I bought the car in New castle. As it's cheaper
I agree with you robert regarding that pajero is underrated, i guess its a good thing when purchasing they are not over priced like toyota and nissan, you get more for your dollar from a pajero.my mates have toyotas and nissan they are so overrated and are ridiculously over priced ,they have had more issues with their vehicles and they allways keep justifying it.
ChickenFingers451 As a very happy Pajero owner, allow me say that it IS awesome. Great torque, pulls like a team of horses, good fuel economy, comfortable on road, not too bad off road, fantastic 5/10 year warranty and more. As a country driver do i care it doesn't have the latest screen or dials? Does it go and can I rely on it, is all I care about.

@@hastensavoir7782 I would say slightly however my valve clearances need adjusting which may be a cause of late.

so are the 3.8 not reliable just asking?

Mitsubishi makes average petrol engines but all 4m40/4m41 Diesel engines are super strong

The Pajero is a offroading vehicle in the segment. It can be impounded under the Hoon Legislation and can the top seller figure it out.🚙🚚🚛🚜
Hayden Fyfe hoon legislation?
LOL! Even push bike can be impounded if you break the speed limit by 30kph! LOL!
What on earth did you just try and say 😳

would have to say on a cost benefit analysis the grand cherokee 3.0 crd kicks its arse
And running costs plus depreciation, recalls and failures.
And the Jeep has no rally heritage and again NO Reliability
sadly speaking ,mitsu is dying

Sadly new Patrol isn't an off-roader anymore either....
Sorry men, but Mitsubishi, Toyota, Jeep and the rememorable G class are the only pure blood off roaders builders un this century.
