    Great video, mine was vibrating making loud noises on start-up and crapping out. This is the precise fix! Swapped it in 20 minutes and could have been faster but it's a bit tight to access! Thank you!

    Hey thanks very much for the vid. Did mine today. Took me half an hour, took a little bit longer than it had to as I am in Saskatchewan and did it outside. Freakin cold today so I didn't want to break any of those clips. Minimal swearing as well. Good to remember that those clips come real easy if you use a second tool to push the lip in.

    • @bobaganoosh88
      @bobaganoosh88  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That second tool can be my long fingernails! lol Im in Michigan as well so it gets cold here. Im used to it. I thrive in it! Glad I could help you out.

      Got it in no problem. The wiring harness was attached a little more securely. So even after removing the clips I had to squeeze it out. Not much play at all in the original one, but it was noisy at low speeds. Thanks again for the tutorial. Much appreciated.

    • @bobaganoosh88
      @bobaganoosh88  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would check the fuses, if they're bad the motor could be why they blew from pulling too much voltage. Also check the blower motor resistor to see if power is coming into that when you turn on the blower.

    How did you know that you had to replace the blower motor? I have a 2014 Toyota Sequoia and it’s making a vibrating noise underneath the glove compartment. And it’s getting worse and worse but then sometimes it just stops making that noise. In your opinion, do you think I have to replace my blower motor as well?

    • @bobaganoosh88
      @bobaganoosh88  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      100 percent the blower motor or a nest inside of it.

    These motors wear out and or start making noise sooner or later no matter who made the vechile. I wont buy a vechile if replacing the blower motor or evap core is more than a 4 hour job. Ive removed dashes to replace these buggers. I have an FRS with a blower that already rattles even with low miles. Just as easy as this one to replace.

      Toyotas are well engineered. My wife drives an Avalon and I have a minty 92 Corolla 5 speed that I use to save gas. After wrenching so long I've found they're hands down the best for affordable reliability.

  • @brettsmith4695

    Dealer wants $400 to do this. I'll be in it $160 for a Toyota Factory blower and 5 minutes of time. Dealerships are absolute ripoffs
