    I just remind myself that a 1% improvement per week is 52% per year. 1% per week is very easy and after a while year you've made great progress.

    What also needs to be said is exercsing a lot is scewing with your hunger signaling , you get too much hungry .
    What is found training just enough is getting me shredded much easier , also neat goes much higher.

    I always enjoy Icelandic yogurt with honey, cinnamon, fruit, and some low sugar granola added. Sometimes, I’ll throw in chia seeds.

    I’m on a meal plan, 2700 calories a day. I follow my plan. But sometimes snack off plan. I’ve started not recording what I eat on my plan, but the things I eat off plan, the snacks to see how many calories a day a week I’m eating off plan.

    In nature, humans will die of thirst before hunger. I had to teach myself the difference between being thirsty and hungry. I often confused those signals and would eat or drink something in excess because I incorrectly identified with what my body needed.
    Once I found the thirst signs and hunger signs differences, I was able to really knock out calories and stay leaner.
    Drink a glass of water before settling a craving or impulse. I have found most of the time, I was thirsty...not hungry.
    Has anyone else found this?

    I’m such a deviant I can binge on apples easy. Luckily I’m also obsessed with exercising and sports. Train twice a day so I’ve never been overweight. Love the pod much support.

    The junk food cycle is a negative feedback loop waiting to happen. Eat one snack, then the snowball starts rolling down hill, have a few more, eat the whole package, feel like shit, skip the gym, take a nap, wake up feel lethargic, whelp I already fucked up today and cheated might as well order a pizza. Best just not too have temptations in the house and office.

    Yeah my biggest obstacle is cereal. My mom always cooked for us but if we didn't want what she cooked the only other option we had was cereal. She was very health conscious though so we only had like raisin bran and shit, no soda except ginger ale either and that was for the adults. So as an adult I just went off and now it's like a big deal, I literally have it built into my routine lol no good. So what I've started doing is blending a scoop of whey with some plain whole milk yogurt with some chopped fruit and maybe just a handful of cereal on top to kinda make myself feel less guilty but working my way slowly to break that.

    What you mentioned about the “kid test” with food is so true… my kids love fruits so much, more than french fries or other typical fatty foods.

    Sandwiches for me. I dont keep crap in the house but my daughter likes bread and sandwiches for school and stuff. But at night after smokin a lil weed and everyone is asleep and I'm still up 3-4 sandwiches 🥪 later 🙃 yeahhhhh.... they are my weakness. 😭

    Just so everyone knows
    Cold plunges and cold showers after weight lifting Is counter productive for muscle building/hypertrophy. Dr Andrew huberman and others goes very deep into this. If muscle building is your main goal I'd highly recommend against cold plunges AT LEAST after a lift

      i think the recommendation is to wait 4 hours after workout. additionally, you probably want to do it at least 4 hours before sleep. nsima has it backwards. you want to warm the outside of your body before bed so the INSIDE of your body reduces temperature to cool down and induce sleep.

    Diet soda might not be bad for you, but it's just gonna be an empty craving that adds an unecessary cost, maybe not if you're a millionaire but considering they were just talking about how to create cravings for things that are actually healthy for you, it kinda comes from left field...
    That's atleast my experience from when I was offered a diet soda when in a typical day I don't have sweet cravings until when I get home and eat a few pieces of dark chocolate, but when I had a diet soda, guess what, the next day the craving for that sweet drink came back.

    Thats a fair statement isnt it? Its next to useless for us...even at its best? Maybe not.
    Why not just do eggs? Or skip b-fast alltogether? I skip or do bulletproof w/a scoop of protein if I already worked out.

    One of the main issues are peoples brains
    Most people first need to see a therapist or phycologist and fix their mindset. They think there os an easy way to lose weight and they are so mentally stubborn that they think they know it all about losing weight
    Watch TH-cam
    Fasting
    Calories in calories out
    Go tot he gym and go through the motions
    Eat any type of food as long as the calories are kind of within their caloric restriction
    Walk on treadmill and burn the amount of calories they ate extra from that day
    This is all fake and doesn’t work
    Most people hormones are out of wack ..
    Fix your hormones brain then the right foods
    Etc..incorporate weight training and aerobic exercises
    Etc…

    You do realize that those legendary pop tarts have palm oil and natural flavors in them, right? I’m sure you already know, but palm oil is awful for your heart and natural flavors can have up to 100 ingredients after starting with the base ingredient.
