Pretty nice little change of pace today...got a video on this here Chevy, looking forward to sharing it with my friends out there! Happy Monday people! P124B & P0300 on a 2015 Chevy Traverse 3.6L (VIN: D) Individual known good injector resistance is 1.6 - 1.7 ohms at room temp in case you're wondering! Part II is available: th-cam.com/video/jKtib1q-kuM/w-d-xo.html
Nice job brother sigh of relief, I love that very easy sell after you show the customer for anything it needs after that. Great video thanks for sharing.
I know right, I had some time today to get this one on film, so WTH! Went through a bit of a falling out at the shop I went to and decided to go back to where life was much more balanced and enjoyable! Hope you're doing well Pauly!
I'm doing better than I deserve. Life is good and getting better all the time. I understand about not getting along. Been there, done that, got the bloody t-shirt to prove it! Unfortunately, we sometimes find out too late that things aren't always as they are first portrayed. Glad you're doing OK now.
Oh those pesky vermin! I had one of those cadillac 3.6's drive in with gas dripping out the tail pipes and dead misfire. Had stuck wide open #5 fuel injector. Those aren't much fun to wrestle out. Happy trails Pauly
Yeah you ain't lying, they're tucked in there tight man! Crazy story, like I said I have never seen a failed injector on one of these? You actually had one stuck open??? That's crazy! How has things been since you moved shops?
@@PaulysAuto Really liking the new job, thanks. I got lucky but it did take two jobs in between to find. That royally sucked having to move all my stuff 6 times! Will be doing a shop tour hopefully soon.
@@raincitywrench117 ohhh man I hate moving my tools, it's like moving one's home...very frustrating and hard to get settled in again. I'm super happy to hear you are doing well and everything is going better. Looking forward to the new videos and please stay in touch!
@@PaulysAuto I usually find if it's not in a very tight area like a cylinder borescope are not too great. They don't always have enough lighting. Sometimes you need another flight or like one of those harbor freight single led flex lights may work.
@@dodgeviper12003 The problem with these is they are encased with foam under there. Another thing is that due to how tightly tucked under the rails these harnesses are and the fact that the injectors hold down the harnesses, a repair on the wiring was just not feasible in my opinion. That's a big reason why I said it's getting new harnesses. I'm not doing it twice to attempt to save money. Because if I gotta go back in there, there went the savings as well as the profit for the job. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and suggestions on borescope approach Rob!

That was smart to check the ohms at the PCM. Working smart Pauly. Rodents are demons!

Great diag ! Thank you for the content. How are things with your job going ? Staying busy ?
Luis I'm back at a shop that values good work, pays me right, and doing what I love!
Thanks for watching and your support man!
I guess you can still say you never had an injector fail on one. I wonder if you could have saw this with a borescope?
That's a great point...maybe next time I will consider taking that approach...THANK YOU!

Glad you found it helpful my friend, thanks for your continued support 👍 😀
Lower resistance proves it's not open.
Yes, well the code said it all TBH...the supply and control were shorted to one another thanks to our fury money makers.
Number 4 and number 3, both were a chewed up mess.
But low resistance could mean she's partially open or on her way😉
