Took a while but I've finished my rust repair around my windshield and back glass. Check out Rustreplace.com if you're doing a similar job. Hopefully I'll have this ready to hit the Hot Rod Power Tour.
@@slowshedgarage7409 My grandmother bought that exact car brand new in 1968 for 3,600. (i still have the receipt)! Ash Gold Paint same as yours and she gave it to me in 1983! always loved that car..
I have a 68 with a leaky windshield and I planned on just replacing the weather stripping and resetting the glass because I can’t find a place that sells the window channel metal. I looked on the rustreplace website and they don’t have anything for a ‘68 impala did you use the ‘67 or a Chevelle kit?
Yeah. Take that wagon on the power tour! I would love to do that with mine.
Yeah Gene it may have to be the wagon. Time will tell. Looking forward to seeing your wagon complete.

Wish mine was a 67. I like that body style a lot better. Thanks for watching.

Rust Replace has the metal. Look at GM B body. If you don't find it hit me up again I'll send you a link. Good luck.
The windshield guy did not give you sht for painting the channel? lol
Yeah maybe a little. 😁 We had to scuff it for adhesion.
