He has a cartilage anomaly, as per the veterinary ophthalmologist who did his eye exam for OFA certification. It is not cherry eye, nor does it require any medical intervention or cause him any issues. Hope this alleviates your concerns.
I'm from Central Asia (Uzbekistan), and this breed is one of our favourites here. I can say Nimbus - a brilliant example of Alabay (original breed name).

@@M.Campbell not true. I've had to sew ears back on many times. They were literally barely hanging on. Kangals akbash and alabai all need the ears cropped if they are working dogs. Won't have another lgd with ears not cropped.

That kind of behaviour is very unusual for this breed. They are guardian dogs and are usually ferocious around strangers or anyone who enters their territory. It is only with their family members that they are calm and gentle.
Mine usually likes people but hates water, clean himself by leaking. However have strong inner impulses towards other animals and in social situations need to be watched always. If he dislikes he goes for a kill. Otherwise it's a charming beast 😅
@@GogiBattlenet True, but if he was a show dog, he would be far more socialized and used to strange people than a working cattle dog. On top of whatever natural disposition it had as a pup (probably not a great one for guarding cattle)

But when was a puppy, would go for a swim in the river with his friends... :) And yes, can be very dangerous to other animals, unfortunately :( Seriously tough breed to raise. I was sure he'd be nice to other animals if I socialized him from a young age (and I did!), but... As he grew up, his instincts started to just take over :( And he is 220 lbs now, so that's... trouble. Sweetest pup! Loves humans, cuddles, etc... But most other dogs or cats... Not AT ALL.

I started watching your brother’s The Spicy Nonna channel after you recommended it a while back, and I’m loving watching Nonna cook amazing Italian dishes and Nonno garden and fix things and tell stories. They are such delightful people! You have an amazing family.
I think Nimbus was absolutely enjoying the whole thing, not even thinking about the groom, he's just like, wow, got to meet a really cool lady today. And listening to her stories. Dogs understand everything you know.
If they understood everything, there would be no dog attacks. Yet, it happens and is a problem to this very day. I love dogs, particularly those often marked as "dangerous breeds", like the CAS, chow chows, Kangal and Cane Corso. And it's the "Dogs are so understanding and intuitive by nature and have incredible discerning abilities" kind of thinking like this that gets those dogs in trouble. Dogs don't have any better discernment skills than people. There are terrorists, human traffickers, misogynists, and abusive people that own dogs that are sweet loving angels, for example. And vice versa, there are dogs in homes with amazing, loving families that care so much about their dogs, and the dogs still have reactive or aggression issues. NEVER assume "This dog will be nice to me because I love them and I'm a nice person."
Where I volunteer I've worked with three central Asian shepherd's (two were dad and son!) And they were the best animals so gentle ❤ real ambassadors for their breed The dad was so chatty he told me off when I left at the end of my shift 😂😂

Wow! You're grandmother looks and acts so much younger than her years. My grandparents were bed ridden at 80 years old. My mother died from covid a year and half ago and she was only 70. Hold onto your Nonna and spend as much time as possible with her.

Nimbus is absolutely gorgeous!! Wow. I can see why he’s #2 in Canada and the US. Just a beautiful disposition and shape. His coat was just luscious and looked snuggly soft. I’d love to take a nap with him. I love him already!! He really is a unicorn. I hope he lives a long, healthy and fulfilling life of love and peace. 🦄 ❤🐾

Wow! You're grandmother looks and acts so much younger than her years. My grandparents were bed ridden at 80 years old. My mother died from covid a year and half ago and she was only 70. Hold onto your Nonna and spend as much time as possible with her.
