May I recommend leaving the vac/boost line on the BOV/BPV as this will help make sure the BOV/BPV remains closed regardless of the pressure applied for the boost leak test. You can find another hose somewhere to pressurise the system.
If you’re putting that much pressure into the system to open the BOV, you’ve put too much in and probably damaged your pcv unfortunately and built too much crank case pressure
How much pressure should you blow into that little hose? And how long should you leave that thumb over the hole before you should expect to hear some leaks? Sorry for dumb questions lol I'm new to all this. Thanks for the video though
It works for huge leaks, probably not much for small ones. Since this video I’ve learned a crap ton more and just ordered a smoke tester for 100 bucks off Amazon and it works wayyyy better lol

Hey m8 great video, can you use compressed air on that tube or too much presuure ?
Maybe like 8 pounds just be careful not to over pressurize the motor with the pcv attached. You can push out the seals and cause leaks
the tube that is connected to my blowoff valve is on the other side than yours, is it the same tube?

Blow into it as hard as you can, you’ll hear a leak right away if there is one
Or run to harbor freight and get a smoke tester for cheap, that’s the better option but this is for someone who doesn’t have the resources
