Street food is HUGE in Karachi Pakistan and it's one of the main things to do not only as a local, but also as a tourist. As most food spots in Karachi open at 6pm, it's a must to go out at this time and try some food.
We headed to a place called, Mehran Sajji & Caterers. This restaurant is popular in the north of Karachi and has over 1400 google reviews. It's a place that no tourist comes to and gave us more reason to try it.
Here, we were given chicken Karahi and chicken cheese Handi to try. Both of these are very popular in Pakistan. We tried the red Karahi first and oh my gosh, it was DELICIOUS. Second, we tried the boiling hot Handi. This dish you need to be careful when eating as it's made in a clay pot and therefore retains its heat. We burnt our palettes a little trying this dish but it was worth it.

rented a car in Jo'Burg in 2018; drove all the way down to Cape Town. Took my own sweet time doing that i.e 14 days .... had loads of fun. Enjoy my country.

It's called fish market, we all have grown up in these streets. We overseas Pakistanis miss our beloved Karachi soooo much. He's called shams and uncle used to sell this chatt in our school. Veryyyyy hardworking man. He started with just a tiny vendor and now he's living as a wealthy fellow, sooooo happy that the tour guider is showing you all these places where we all grown up. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

tap water here is not even good for locals the water has to be filtered if you are drinking it but you can boil the water to drink or you can use it for bath or washing etc without problem but drinking is no no
