    I hava a 2007 Honda Pilot EX-L. Other videos in youtube have a different looking transmission than the one you are showing in this video. My transmission layout looks like the one you are working on here. I followed you video and removal of the switch, everything was perfect. However, I purchased the sensor that was on the other videos and it doesn't fit correctly. Do you know the Honda part # so I can get the correct switch. Thank you. Great video.

      @@JM-AUTO I got that exact part from the dealer, but the plastic part is black and my original plastic part is white like the one you show on your video. Also the pin inside the plastic part is in the middle while the part from the dealer is slightly to the right. The dealer gave me the exact part number that you just gave me.

    I have complaints about delays and rough shifts, sometimes gear 3 slips. what do you think?

      first check for any codes related to the tranny, with a scanner that has the ability to read a complete transmission data, if nothing is found, normally that is a mechanical problem or interenal issues. on these vehicles.

    I have a similar problem on my 2007 Honda accord, but when I check for voltage across the wire as you did, I get 12v. I'm confused.

    • @JM-AUTO
      @JM-AUTO  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      have you replced the switch? if you did and you get 12v then the problem is in tranny even though honda says this code can be caused by an electrical problem and not a mechanical problem but that is wrong info from honda, in so many cases this code is caused ny mechanical failure.

    • @lastof4brothers
      @lastof4brothers 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JM-AUTO that means my tranny is shot. But I still don't get why I have 12v instead of 5v clearly stated by Honda.

      So my problem actually got worse and a couple of other error came up. I thought replacing the trans was the only way to go. Alas, I was wrong.
      After spending money to replace the transmission, it was realized that Honda was right afterall. The error was not a mechanical problem from the trans. In short, my trans was in good shape and I trashed it for nothing.
      The problem was actually the ECU. Somehow, water got into it and messed things up.
      Others should learn from my misfortune.

      The solenoids and pressure switches were checked using a computer, all working in time to open and close. The electrician told me that he no longer needed to check them with an ovometer to measure energy. @@JM-AUTO

      @@alialghwidi283 ask the electrician what was the voltage he got when he checked the 3dr clutch pressure switch with out telling him the he is supposed to get 5v reference, because your answer does not convince me since you said that all solenoids were check ed when there was no need to do that since the code p0848 is trigger only by the 3dr clutch pressure b so there was no need to check other solenoids, olso if he told you that then he already should know the diagnosis of your accord. got the feeling they did it wrong. good lack. and stay bless you and family
