  • Hey You Tube family. Today I will show you how I mix my liquid nutrients and store in concentrated liquid form for later use as needed. No scales are needed and the method is easy, cheap, and most of all very effective to give your plants what they need to thrive and give you the best bounty of produce. Thanks for stopping by and please like, subscribe, share, and/or comment. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer.

    In the 100 l , the ratio is 400cc + 400cc in 100 ltrs (4ccx100l=400cc) right?

    My question is already mixed up a five gallon bucket of masterblend for my farm stand. What about maintenance. I'm trying to figure out do I need a maintenance plan like every week or 2 weeks adding more nutrients? Or do I just wait for the 5 gallons to be almost used up by the plants before adding anything else?

    • @livinglifeonlifesterms2450
      @livinglifeonlifesterms2450  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are so many variables to consider for answering your question. First the frequency of feeding would depend on the substrate or soil. If it's an established not first year, then I would feed once every 2 weeks. Also it depends on what you are growing as some vegetables are heavy feeders, especially during fruiting process. But a good rule of thumb is you will see the leaves become less green when the nutrients are used up. You can easily over fertilize so I would start with every 2 weeks and then go more frequent if you feel the need. Plants grown hydroponics with substrate being only in inorganic substrate like perlite need more frequency. Hope this helps. Thanks for your question.

    I think mixing stuff into 1L of water may cause the water to become slightly after 1L afterwards. It’s probably better mix into slightly less than 1L and then top up with more water to make exactly 1L after dissolving

      and 4 times 10 liter is 40cc but i agree with the other one mix it with 500ml water and then top up to 1 liter after its mixed bcos it does increase the liter to more than a liter of liquid even though the dry ingredients are not a liquid they increase the liter to over a liter and your measurement is wrong when using 4cc per liter, i did the same with 6 times 40ml of water added 35gm of epsom thinking i could measure it out as 6 40ml shots but it was more i had 1 40ml shot extra and had to divide that by 6 to spread it between 6 diffrent potss of water so the volume does increase and will put your measurement out of wack. for every gallon of water its HALF a TSPoon MB and CALNIT, and a Quarter TSpoon EPSalt goin by a dif vid. th-cam.com/video/om8JJGa-oaw/w-d-xo.html

    Extremely clear explanation in litres vs gallon mixing formula portion for concentrated a n b solution and how it can to used. 4cc per litre is full strength? How about when the lettuce is only starting tp grow from seedling stage, do we use 2cc per litre?

      I personally do not use any feeding until I see primary roots from net cup. In dirt I would wait a good 2-3 weeks and start with half strength. Yes 4 cc of solution A a d 4 cc of solution B in one liter will be full strength.

    How would we make our ppm go higher??? I haven’t found anyone at all that talks about this or even anyone on Facebook in the groups there that will answer my question. Some plants need to be as high as 3500. Do we just add more of the 4-18-38 or do you add a little bit of all 3 ingredients??? Do we have to premix them first to avoid nutrient lockout? Super important thing to know yet nobody talks about it. Thank you

    • @livinglifeonlifesterms2450
      @livinglifeonlifesterms2450  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Take a baseline ppm of your water you are using first. Then mix the nutrients as per video and place in water. Obtain ppm then subtract the original number of water source. This gives you your true ppm of the nutrients. I would go slowly and just ad small increments if both solutions A and B and recheck. As far as lock out is concerned I have not gone above the normal concentration. Even for tomatoes as they are heavy feeders.

    • @swampysanta5445

      heavy feeders fruiting plants in soilless/hydroponics u can do 3.6 grams masterblend 3.6 grams calcium nitrate 2.7 grams epsom salt per gallon of water end up with 190 ppm n 75 ppm p 300ppm k 180ppm cal 70ppm mag and 90 ppm sulfur but that would be the max i would go if i was u and u can feed that every 1-2 weeks total ppm will be less then 1500-1600 ppm with ro filter water. masterblend the mix they use is for soil feeding every 1-2 weeks but in soilless/hydroponics u can feed that every watering they call that constant liquid feeding.

    2 BOTTLE METHOD
    500 ml bottle
    Bottle (A)
    120g (6.5 TB) NPK
    60 g (4 TB) Epsom Salt
    (Add NPK to warm water & shake then add epsom salt).
    Bottle (B)

    1 liter (use half if seedlings)

    1 gallon (use half if seedlings)
    9.5 ml (2 tsp) of A
    9.5 ml (2 tsp) of B
    1 gallon = 4 liters

    Notes: 1/2 tsp Masterblend ( NPK). 1/4 tsp Epsom salt. 1/2 tsp calcium nitrate per 1 gallon of water.
    Fill bucket with 1 gallon water Add 4 x 1/2 tsp masterblend (NPK) and stir. Add 2nd gallon of water add 4 x 1/4 tsp epsom salt. Add 3rd gallon water and stir. Add 1 gallon of water and add 4 x 1/2 tsp calcium nitrate. Add each one at a time to avoid clumping and to make water nutrient rich. Using warm water and/or whisk can help dissolve nutrients.
    This is for fully grown plants for 1 gallon water
    Use half if seedlings
    5 gallon bucket
    12-12-6 ratio
    Ex. 12 grams masterblend-12 grams calcium nitrate-6 grams epsom salt

    • @livinglifeonlifesterms2450
      @livinglifeonlifesterms2450  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      4cc of solution A and 4cc of solution B each per liter of water. So 100 liters of water has 400cc of solution A and 400cc of solution B. With huge quantities of water such as 100 liters or more it might be easier to just mix straight into tank in powdered form. Dried materials for solution A first and stir well. Then dried material for solution B. Then to a PH test and ppm to your specific needs.

    We are going to be out of fertilizer in a few month's worldwide. Learn how to grow without it. It is very difficult but achievable with effort. The lazy add a spoonful way is going away for a time and some forever. We need plant biologists to generate new plant's for our new environment. 101 today and I do it all by hand. I'm not a professional gardener just willing to do whatever I can to help keep people alive. Wild edible plant's get their nutrients from the surrounding decaying matter so replicating that environment will produce similar effect on the scientists plant. Ultimately human's will be eating more natural vegetation and less of manmade products. Remember that White Man came to destroy life to gain power. What is power without lives to control.

    Do me a favor next time use a plastic spoon to stir. Also to expedite the video premeasure the ingredients into a small bowl and just poor it into the water. If you tell folks there’s 10 tablespoons they will trust you... that’s preferred over watching you count each tablespoon out. There are also mistakes in the math on the Masterblend label so I weigh using grams on the scale.
