Considering Octavia had to go up against the strongest and best fighters of each clan including Luna, I don’t blame Clarke for thinking she couldn’t do it. Like Octavia just started learning to fight 2 season ago and everyone else has been fighting since they were kids…
Clarke took the bunker to save humanity because SkaiKru had engineers and doctors, while the other clans were mostly warriors. She also didn’t believe Octavia would win since she was fighting warriors who had trained their whole lives, while she had only started training recently.
Literally if skaikru isn’t in that bunker, everybody is gonna die. They are more advanced then the other clans. They won’t survive without Clarke and the squad. Clarke is about surviving say what gotta say and do what u gotta do within reason. She said it’s to save everybody bc at that point in time it was feasible and it benefited skaikru. Now everybody surviving isn’t an option anymore, that’s when it becomes us vs them
roan is such a solid underrated character, he deserved a better death for sure. but if anyone other than Luna beat him it wouldve been even worse. At least he was only beat by a character that we know to be a super powerful fighter. RIP king.
U don’t gets Clark’s character, she has sacrificed the most , her humanity, conscience so others don’t have to , as she says she bares it so they don’t have to the leader has the worst of it as they have to have the courage to make that decision right or wrong they have to do it like they say oh u can’t do that but don’t offer up other solutions or they put the burden on Clarke
