Satoru Iwata. You will never be forgotten. For coding earthbound, creating a memory compressor for Pokemon Gold, all the way to your death. Oh BW1. My favorite game of all time. Flawless down to the Pokémon. Satisfying every time. And truly the only Pokémon game that put the story before all. And it shows. What a masterpiece. To all the programmers of BW1, thanks for making such a wonderful game I'll never forget. And please consider a remake or final 3rd game sometime in the future.
It makes me sad when I think about this game's reception. XY just doesn't have the same soul as BW, and I feel like it's because of all the hate gen 5 got. Even though I like gen 3 more, I still REALLY love BW a lot.
My fave game by far is white, and I only had one complaint about gen 5 at all, and that was that in BW2 the BW main character never returned to meet N again, not even through memory link. It made me sad whenever someone mentioned the BW main character, as they never truly return. When Unova remakes finally come around, they need to fix this.
I find it so sad Hilda/Hilbert, i play Hilda so I'll use Hilda, is missing and they're searching for their friend N. N has also said he wants to find her to "tell how he feels". Both of them especially Hilda are going on a wild goose chase because Looker said so but in the end Rosa(the character i play) found N. I wish BW will have another sequel where all of the characters finally meet. It's such an amazing story, both in games and in Pokemon adventures. One of the stories that got me heartbroken.
yeap, i cried when i watched that episode. but that scene is altered from BW2 games, i wished the story would be expanded in another game or something to show that hilda/hilbert found N.
Also since Switch have that much more compute power and cartridge capacity (up to 64GB) this theme really should be properly orchestrated. The original one was severely limited due to the compute power and sound hardware of NDS not capable of such music pieces.
This thing for me was really sad, then i did Memory Link on Black 2 Man, i cried for almos an entire hour when he mentioned Hilbert (Character i play even if I'm a girl) and, well, i laughed a bit when Hilbert's mother mistook Nate (I play him too) with her own child
To be frank, it's one of those timeless ones. Still a bit uncannily close to Theme of Love, but since that's also a timeless one, well... they do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and there's nothing wrong with having two fantastic pieces to listen to.
That Climax at 1:10... Holy s--t I got goosebumps. I think this was the best soundtrack in the history of pokemon. They really pulled out all the stops with a full orchestra and everything. you can feel the exact emotions the writers were trying to convey and the whole game is meant to be played with the speakers blaring. Simply beautiful and their best work in the series.
This brings me so much memories of the fifth generation, I spent so much hours on Pokemon black and Pokemon white 2. This generation brought me the fondest memories of any generation, this remix almost makes me want to cry
Why, WHY wasn't this version in the game? It should have SO been in BW2! Why does Gen 5 have to end? I want to know what if N and the protagonist find each other!
Farewell Generation V, your music, your story, your pokemon, your characters, your battles, the moment I chose my starter, the moment it evolved, the moment when I beat t thege champion and an ending which was painful..farewell generation V
It is always important to sit back and reflect on your childhood every once in a while, to remember all the experiences, good and bad, that you had as a child. This song helps me do that.
N was cool. He was like, how a person should be. Giving one a chance to express their own view even though he's true to his own beliefs. I wish everyone could be like that...
From his humble beginnings in Kanto(Fire Red), my trainer's journey has taken him across the world. He was no longer a boy, when he came to Unova (At least 13 years had to have passed since FR/LG, I think), but not quite a man. Yet, N, a boy much younger than him unknowingly helped him mature into a man worthy of being champion. ...damn you headcanon.
Guys! N is coming to Pokémon Masters (a mobile game) on the 23rd/24th, and he's going to reunite with Hilda and Hilbert, too! He has zekrom, and an awesome battle theme remix. He's going to be a limited banner scout so y'all should really start playing it and get gems to get him, he's finally returning! I decided I'ma copy and paste this in multiple N related videos so we can get some love for broccoli boy without having to type a lot, hah.
OMG this is SO beautiful! ;_; I'm almost 19 years old but whoa, I do still absolutely love Pokémon and the music - and B/W's story was truly heartbreaking but absolutely awesome. N is the greatest Pokémon character ever! N FTW! T_T Anyways - thanks for uploading this gorgeous track!

thegalaxy2012 same but mostly because I forgot how hard they can be and I’ve replayed all my favorite Pokémon games recently and black 2 was hard to get a new one of but my adventure was great just as good as the original
I blame Looker for telling them about that report in the first place. But then again, that "man with a dragon Pokemon" could also hint at a future game and a chance at running into them in another region c:
the three things i cry about most in pokemon 3. N's departure at the end of Black & White 2. You fading out of existence at the end of Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of Time/Darkness 1. Ash being petrified in the first movie when stopping Mew and Mewtwo
I cried to the point my friends came in the room and asked if anything was wrong. Then I replied finally Nintendo finally portrays the main antagonist as a complex character. This made N one of my favorite antagonists departing from stereotypical characteristics..
This hits different after the news about the anime. To me, it perfectly captures the bittersweet feelings that came with the news that Ash and Pikachu are finally riding off into the sunset (so to speak) and their story is coming to a close, but at the climax, the sadness of saying goodbye slowly gives way to the anticipation of the new beginning we'll get to experience as we take the first steps with Liko and Roy, and at the octave change, it feels like the tradition of the Precure Baton Pass (which Toei does yearly to celebrate going from one season of the long-running magical girl franchise to the next), except for the handoff from Ash to Liko and Roy, I'd like to imagine Ash pulling out a feather from Ho-oh and handing it to them, as his way of wishing our new heroes the very best, like nothing ever was, *_as the journey continues!_* Sorry for the ramble, I just wanted to share!
Wanted this in smash badly, even though i know it wouldn't fight a gruesome fight; an emotional one it would, and after seeing how freaking amazing it can be to fight with Mother 3's love theme on, the absence of this track only manages to hurt even more... Sakurai, i beg you, don't forget next time.
It's kind of ironic that in BW2 N and Touko/Touya are apparently looking for each other but they're both in the wrong place. And no one seems to be able to get in contact with Touko/Touya to tell them to just come home. It's kind of sad but also kind of funny.
Think of it as this way. Your parents recently died and you can't think of living without anyone to call your mom or dad. You're sad for a long time but then you finally get a huge burst of determination. You make something that can bring them back to the world. It works and you finally get to see your parents back. Then you wake up in your bed because it was just a dream Then you see your parents alive in real life. That sweet feeling of safety never gets old...

Remixing some of the saddest music from Mother to create some of the saddest music in Pokemon. Way to make me cry forever, Nintendo.
It's been a while since I listened to this... I was crying and sobbing like I haven't in a while. Still a beautiful song though.
rip in peace gen V
listened to this in rememberance of my fallen comrades after completeing my leafgreen nuzlocke challenge... I can't lie. I about cried.
I don't care who you are, how much you hate pokemon, love pokemon, or what have you. This is one franchise that can manage to pull off the making of some of the most beautiful music ever made (don't hate me for my opinion please). Why can't all of you genwunners, fithgenners, or what ever preference you have, compromise on this at least? :c
hhgh.,.........i played upon release back in middle school and now almost a decade later i'm 21 and this ost STILL has me hardwired for tears,, ughjf BW1 is.. the only pokemon game i legitimately loved the story for ; A ;/
:O O MY GOODNESS GRASIOSNESS! THIS IS PERFECT FOR THE DOCTOR'S GOOD-BYE 2 ROSE!
