Damn it crazy how Pokémon black and white came out in 2010, I was 10 then now I’m 19 I will always love gen 5.
It also crazy how some time in the future maybe 2025 (my guess) we could get Black and White remakes.

Controversial but bw/bw2 are in my top 10 favourite games of all time
bw2 are my fav pokemon games but bw fall short for me. BW had a lot of stuff that just wasn't great, that they fixed to perfection in bw2 imo
MrChespy I wholeheartedly agree, everything about it is just, great in some way shape or form, heck Garbodor and trubbish we’re actually interesting Pokèmon concepts at best.

正直BWやってた時は小学校低学年だったからあんまり覚えてないかなーって思ってたけどBGM聞いたら一瞬で記憶蘇ってきた

0:48 からの盛り上がりまじで大好きだったからタイトル画面のレシラム眺めながらめっちゃ聞いてたわ。あと初ゲームなのもあって初めて草むらに入った時とかBGM変わるごとに興奮してたなぁ。純粋にポケモンの全てを楽しんでた頃思い出すと涙腺が緩んじゃう…

BWのEDだけはそれまでの、「旅の終わり」みたいなEDじゃなくて、「伝説の始まり」みたいな曲調だからすごく格好いいですよね。

This may be biased since pokemon white was my first ever pokemon game( cuz it was the brand-new game at that time) but I think this is the best generation and had the best story, awesome music, and good animations
Black/White were easily among the best Pokemon games, and this is coming from someone who started with Gen 1 back in the day. It was also the first game to let you pick the order you defeat the elite four in, a trend they continue to this day.
I played from the first games ever and i agree with in every point

definitely. i didnt look at the details like music and stuff, but storywise, its awesome.
Gen 5 was game freak’s peak imo. That was back when they had to innovate and be creative instead of just relying on the Pokémon name

BWはリスタートの側面が強いからDPt以前のプレイヤーにはどうしても受け入れ難い部分があったけど、BWがあったからこそポケモンもたくさんの世代に愛される作品になったんだろうなって。

Gen 5 was my first experience with Pokémon games; it is still my favorite generation and it has the best story in the franchise. Very nostalgia-provoking soundtrack, looking forward to remakes one day

@@roboknightt04 Every 2nd Generation on the same console always sells less. Even Gold and Silver sold less than Red and Blue/Green. Sun and Moon sold less than X and Y too.
@@roboknightt04 BW/BW2 had around 1 million sales fewer than DPPt (~25m to ~24m) that's not bad at all. And BW2 has the highest sales of any sequel/third version except for Yellow.
いにしえのうたからの壮大さに涙が止まらない
DPtは遊ぶ要素が多くて、小学生の頃何も考えずにずっと遊んでた。
BWからストーリーをちゃんと理解するようになって、めちゃくちゃ衝撃受けた…。
DPtもBWもそれぞれ魅力があってどっちも大好きだ…！
Gen 5 was the first Gen I dived into when I started playing Pokemon. Might sound biased since it was my first, but Pokemon Black and White are personally my favorite. The story was absolutely amazing(this includes B2W2) and the music? The theme song for when your just about to beat the gym leader STILL has my heart pumping to this day. A lot of people give crap for gen 5 but in all honesty... It just deserves so much appreciation.

My first Pokemon game was the Platinum Edition and I love it, but Gen 5 and Unova became my favourites.
I just can agree to it, it was my first my game (and now I'm 18...the time for real).
And I just loved it and still love it
I may prefer Gen 4, and while I'm not huge on BW's story, I LOVE the games art style and music, it's absolutely beautiful for sure.

God this whole thing is so good I’m living for this (also an aside about Unova as a whole: I don’t know how game freak did it, but it legit feels like the U.S. When I think of Pokémon regions and the one that feels closest to my home, unova always comes to mind, they did an amazing job fitting so much into a DS game. I just love Unova so much, and I love it more as I get older, the games aged so well)

Trident Remixes you got a big field that’s fun to walk around in fighting giants wherever the red pillars of light show us. You also have the galarian equivalent to my cofagrigus and darmanitan which are some of my favorite Pokémon to date because of that!

Well, it all comes down to personal opinions. In my case it's just that I love the influence the snow has on the region. I also love the idea of Mt. Coronet "splitting" the Sinnoh-Region.

I was literally 6 when Pokemon Black and White came out, I remember this kid playing it at school as I watched him I decided I wanted to buy the game, so many memories, started playing all the Pokemon games after that. The shear nostalgia this game gave, I'm not sad that those times are gone, I'm happy cause they happened...

My brothers bought the game on release when he made it to the elite 4 he wanted me to try to fight shauntal and i was only 5 so didnt know what moves to use
I got goosebumps from this. It brings me back to when I first played this game back in 2010, pokemon black was my first pokemon game I got to have all to myself. I love seeing this game finally getting recognized for its greats after being slammed all those years ago.

あの感動はダイパじゃ味わえなかった
思い入れあるのは第4世代だけどプレイする楽しさはbwの方が上だったな

あ、それウチに近い部分がありますね（BW5割DP3割HGSSリメイク2割）
半分分かる。小学2年の時にはまってプラチナ→SS（1番好き）→ブラック→ホワ2→X これがおれのポケモン経歴

王になった日聞いてもう全部戴冠式の様子とかその後の道路、街、今までの戦い、一緒に旅をしたポケモンの記憶がぶわってよぎった。BW、BW2が私は好き。また開いてみようかな
