    1
    00:00:01,571 --> 00:00:08,097
    BREASTSTROKE TUTORIAL
    평영 교범
    2
    00:00:13,898 --> 00:00:17,209
    Breaststroke might be one of the most complex strokes.
    평영은 가장 복잡한 영법 중의 하나인 것 같습니다.
    3
    00:00:17,577 --> 00:00:20,427
    It is very different from the other three strokes.
    다른 세 가지 영법과는 매우 다릅니다.
    4
    00:00:20,731 --> 00:00:25,259
    To get breaststroke right we need to talk about timing and aquadynamic movements.
    평영을 제대로 배우려면, 때맞춤(timing)과 수력학(aquadynamics)에 맞는 움직임에 대해 알아야만 합니다.
    5
    00:00:26,492 --> 00:00:33,305
    In these first videos of the breaststroke technique analysis we will focus on the three stages of the timing.
    평영 기술 분석에 관한 이번 첫 동영상들에서는 때맞춤(timing)의 세 단계에 집중하겠습니다.
    6
    00:00:33,334 --> 00:00:34,007
    1 - The arms
    2 - The legs
    3 - The glide
    1 - 팔
    2 - 다리
    3 - 활강(gliding)
    7
    00:00:34,020 --> 00:00:37,611
    On this particular video we will go over the first stage.
    이번 동영상에서는 첫 번째 단계를 다루겠습니다.
    8
    00:00:37,988 --> 00:00:40,330
    It has three parts.
    - The open
    - The pull
    - The recovery
    세 가지 부분으로 이루어집니다.
    - 벌리기
    - 당기기
    - 되돌리기
    9
    00:00:40,505 --> 00:00:42,090
    - The open
    - 벌리기
    10
    00:00:42,543 --> 00:00:45,108
    The pull in breaststroke is quick and short.
    평영에서의 팔 젓기는 재빠르면서 짧습니다.
    11
    00:00:46,309 --> 00:00:49,292
    It starts by opening your arms away from each other.
    두 팔을 벌리면서 시작합니다.
    12
    00:00:49,869 --> 00:00:52,790
    Your hands should be pointing to either side of the pool.
    손바닥은 각각 수영장 옆쪽 벽을 향해야 합니다.
    13
    00:00:53,599 --> 00:00:59,126
    Once your arms pass your shoulder width you should quickly start the next movement.
    팔이 일단 어깨 너비를 지나면, 재빨리 다음 동작을 시작해야 합니다.
    14
    00:01:00,494 --> 00:01:03,752
    Now your arms are in the best position to pull the water.
    이제 두 팔로 물을 당기기 가장 좋은 자세입니다.
    15
    00:01:04,472 --> 00:01:07,556
    So get your hands pointing back by bending your elbows.
    그러므로 팔꿈치를 굽혀 손바닥이 뒤를 향하게 하십시요.
    16
    00:01:08,360 --> 00:01:10,697
    Now pull with your forearms and your hands.
    이제 팔뚝과 손바닥으로 당기세요.
    17
    00:01:11,245 --> 00:01:15,461
    Before your hands pass your shoulder line you need to start the recovery.
    손바닥이 어깨선을 지나기 전에 되돌리기 시작해야 합니다.
    18
    00:01:16,669 --> 00:01:20,812
    There is no point to continue pulling after your hands pass the shoulder line.
    손바닥이 어깨선을 지난 후에는 당기기를 계속할 이유가 없습니다.
    19
    00:01:21,067 --> 00:01:25,125
    You will get little leverage, create drag and lose time if you do.
    계속 당기면, 작용하는 힘은 거의 없이, 저항을 일으켜 느려지게 될 것입니다.
    20
    00:01:25,189 --> 00:01:25,878
    - The recovery
    - 되돌리기
    21
    00:01:25,921 --> 00:01:31,155
    So it is time to get your hands together and push them forward as fast as you can.
    그러므로 최대한 빨리 두 손을 모아 앞으로 밀어낼 시간입니다.
    22
    00:01:32,507 --> 00:01:36,122
    To practice this movement, you can do this drill on the edge of the pool.
    이 동작을 연습하려면, 수영장 가에서 이 부분훈련을 하십시요.
    23
    00:01:36,881 --> 00:01:41,435
    This will help you see how far back your hands should go before the recovery.
    이 부분훈련을 통해, 되돌리기 전에 두 손을 몸쪽으로 어느 정도까지 당겨야 하는지 알 수 있습니다.
    24
    00:01:42,196 --> 00:01:45,782
    You can also practice the open and the pull with this drill.
    이 부분훈련으로 팔 벌리기와 당기기도 같이 연습할 수 있습니다.
    25
    00:01:47,614 --> 00:01:53,163
    If you are having trouble focusing on both arms, just practice doing breaststroke with one arm.
    두 팔 모두에 집중하기 힘들다면, 한쪽 팔로만 하는 평영을 연습하십시요.
    26
    00:01:53,507 --> 00:01:58,909
    This will help you to be more conscious about each movement and create muscle memory by repetition.
    각 움직임을 더 잘 인지할 수 있고, 동작을 반복함으로써 근육 기억을 만들 수 있습니다.
    27
    00:02:00,560 --> 00:02:04,252
    Many beginners tend to do a wide and slow arms’ movement.
    많은 초보자가 널찍하고 느린 팔 동작을 하는 경향이 있습니다.
    28
    00:02:04,568 --> 00:02:12,779
    But breaststroke’s main focus is timing and being aquadynamic, creating as little drag as possible on every single stage.
    하지만 평영의 주요 주안점은 때맞춤(timing)과, "각 단계에서 최소한의 저항만 만들어내야 하는, 수력학(aquadynamics)의 원리에 맞추는" 것입니다.
    29
    00:02:13,534 --> 00:02:15,527
    You will learn how to do that here.
    저희 동영상을 통해 그 방법을 배우실 수 있습니다.
    30
    00:02:16,002 --> 00:02:23,688
    So make sure you subscribe to this channel and watch the upcoming breaststroke episodes, so you learn the full three stages of the breaststroke.
    그러므로 이 채널을 구독하고 계속되는 평영 에피소드를 시청하면서, 평영의 전체 세 단계를 배우세요.

    The preview noted that you'd focus on the glide as one of these stages of the stroke, but that was only shown, not mentioned, at about :20. There is no link to the following videos mention for completing the points mentioned in the summary. If you had done what the preview promised, it would be great.

    Breaststroke technique Swimming.
    Breaststroke might be one of the most complex strokes. It is very different from the other three strokes. To get breaststroke right we need to talk about timing and aquadynamic movements. In these first videos of the breaststroke technique analysis we will focus on the three stages of the timing.
    1 - The arms
    2 - The legs
    3 - The glide

    - The recovery
    이번 동영상에서는 첫 번째 단계를 다루겠습니다. 세 가지 부분으로 이루어집니다.
    - 벌리기
    - 당기기
    - 되돌리기
    To practice this movement, you can do this drill on the edge of the pull. This will help you see how far back your hands should go before the recovery. You can also practice the open and the pull with this drill.
    이 동작을 연습하려면, 수영장 가에서 이 부분훈련을 하십시요. 이를 통해, 되돌리기 전에 두 손을 몸쪽으로 어느 정도까지 당겨야 하는지 알 수 있습니다. 또한 팔 벌리기와 당기기도 같이 연습할 수 있습니다.

    These tips and techniques will work best to help you improve dramatically your stroke if you do two things:
    1- Focus on one thing at a time
    2- Practice until you dominate that thing and move to the next.
    당신의 영법을 극적으로 향상시키는 데에, 이 비결과 기법들이 가장 효과적으로 적용되게 하려면, 다음 두 가지를 실천하십시요:
    1 - 한 번에 한 가지에만 집중하십시요.
    2 - 그 한가지를 완벽하게 할 수 있을 때까지 연습하십시요. 그런 후에야 다음 단계로 넘어가십시요.
    I will also do another series of videos for the other strokes, including starts and turns. There will also be drills and other fun stuff, so make sure to subscribe!
    발사와 벽돌기를 포함한 다른 영법들에 대한 비디오 연재물도 만들려고 합니다. 또한 부분훈련들과 재미있게 즐길 수 있는 것들도 포함하겠습니다. 그러니 잊지 말고 구독 버튼을 눌러주세요!
    I swam for 15 years in the competitive arena and I hope I can transmit my knowledge as clearly and simple as youtube allows me to. I plan on doing a couple of these to spread the knowledge I have acquired on swimming. I will do collaborations with people with even more knowledge and experience to do more advanced type videos.
    저는 경영 무대에서 15년을 수영해왔습니다. 유튜브가 허락하는 한 명료하고 투명하게, 제 지식을 전달할 수 있기를 바랍니다. 수영에 관하여 제가 습득한 지식을 퍼뜨리기 위해 몇가지를 계획하고 있습니다. 조금 더 나은 형태의 비디오를 제작하기 위해, 지식과 경험이 더 풍부한 사람들과 협력하겠습니다.
    Finally, what I am really passionate about is learning new skills. So the point of this channel is to spread the intrinsic joy that all humans share when we learn something new, doesn't matter how insignificant it might appear. I believe improvement makes us feel more alive and thus, if done right, make a better world.
    마지막으로, 제가 정말 열정을 갖고 있는 것은 새로운 기술을 배우는 것입니다. 그러므로 이 채널의 목적은, 그것이 비록 하찮은 것처럼 보일지라도, 새로운 것을 배울 때 모든 사람이 공통적으로 느끼는, 본질적인 기쁨을 퍼뜨리는 것입니다. 저는, 우리가 발전함으로써 살아있음을 좀 더 잘 느낄 수 있게 되고, 그럼으로써, 올바르게 행해진다면, 더 나은 세상을 만드는데 유용하다고, 믿습니다.
    So if you enjoy learning new things, swimming, dancing, drawing and other skills this channel is for you! So make sure to subscribe, watch, learn, practice and enjoy!
    그러므로, 당신이 수영, 춤, 그림, 그리 다른 것들에 관해 새로운 것 배우기를 즐겨한다면, 이 채널은 바로 당신을 위한 것입니다! 그러므로 반드시 구독 버튼을 누르셔서, 보고, 배우고, 연습하고, 즐기시기 바랍니다!
