The Breaststroke kick is what makes this stroke so powerful. If you want to refer it to a land exercise, the breaststroke kick would be more like a jumping squad. Therefore, the legs movement needs to be precise and very symmetrical. The cool thing about swimming is you can do the same repetition a hundred times without getting tired.
Remember:
1) Keep your body in streamlined position
2) Keep your knees closer together
3) Flex heels outwards
4) Push water back

This is so great! Breaststroke is my second strongest stroke (my first one is freestyle) and I have championships coming up, where I have to do breaststroke so this totally helps!

I have practice regularly breaststroke, but still have fear with deep water, please help how to overcome from fear.... Or panicked.
I practiced breaststroke for years. I wasn’t afraid but I wasn’t completely at ease either. Then I went swimming with the kids. We do silly things but I noticed that it pushed my boundaries little by little. Maybe you should take some time to relax in the water? Learn how to dive to the bottom, float on your back, swim under water for as long as possible, ….

Is the single leg kick for one leg only per lap or you constantly switch legs? Basically just kicking at different time?
in the video she is alternating the leg that is kicking. so yeah just kick one leg while keeping the other still and then switch
@@sebastianknowles9833 okay how many kicks do you do? I did 3 kicks one leg keeping the other one still and I could barely keep myself stream lined!
Shuyu Long it might help to do this drill with a kick board like the video shows. Also doing 3 kicks on one leg can be harder to sustain your streamline. Try only kicking once before switching legs

You need to push your arms "outward" and "downward", so that you naturally raise your head. It's better that you find a coach to teach you because it's just hard to describe with mere words.
