Just get the 5700 XT. It's not much more money. If you're willing to pay $40 over base price for a good card, $50 for a higher tier of card should not bother you. Between needing to upgrade sooner and the 5700 not having XT in the name (bad for resale value), what are you really saving? And the performance will be worse through the whole life of the card.

Sapphire used to have this great product line called TOXIC.
Sapphire literally made the most powerful AIB cards in the entire WORLD with Toxic. The HD 7970 Toxic for example was faster than the original Titan with the same amount of memory for about 8 months before the Titan came out.
Compared to EVGA's Kingpin, EVGA is only a drop in the bucket in comparison. AIB partner designs are dead. We used to have amazing coolers for low end cards, GREAT mid-tier low profile designs, and AMAZING forward thinking top of the line high end cards for AMD. AIBs used to right AMD's wrongs with their reference designs and not only that, but they made the cards themselves FAR, FAR, more advanced, more powerful than they should've been and only charged a small premium.
AIB GPUs used to look professional and dignified, and have awesome performance compared to a reference card. Now they are less than average in quality.

Four years later, and I would be happy looking for this specific 5700xt, on EBay. That said, my only gripe, nit-pic-
All three fans being the same-interchangeable would have been worth any performance gains due to the counter clockwise odd ball center fan. Making them replaceable and serviceable, makes up for that, ten fold.

If anything ever goes awry to the point that one of those fuses blows then the card was already dead, but reduces overhead with RMA's. You can look at the fuses and immediately know to throw the card out, rather than trying to diagnose an issue and possibly refurbish it.

After doing some research over the last couple of weeks I decided to buy the Nitro + to upgrade my 4GB XFX RX580 and what an amazing GPU it is. Not only is the performance fantastic but the cooling on this GPU is outstanding. My XFX would run between 75-80 C in demanding games with the fans screaming while this card never goes above 65 C with the fan set to 70% max. To make things even better it is also a lot quieter than my dual fan XFX, even though it has an additional fan. The fan serviceability was also a feature that was important for me as I fix things for a living.
It was a literal plug and play experience for me and I haven't experienced any of the driver issues that some people seem to be having. I'm very happy with this card and for 419 dollars it is totally worth it in my opinion. Thanks to reviews such as these I was able to make a purchasing decision that I'm happy with.

you should reveiw a aib rx 5700 non xt, they stay very cool and consules very little power. i have a rx 5700 sapphire pulse and oc'ed it @ 2.00GHz and set the ram at 930MHz using the powerplay mod and gained about 10% more performance.
so should be very close to a stock 5700xt. with this oc the gpu consums about 160-170w so i can still use the stock fan curve and the fan run at 1800rpm under a heaven benchmark loop making very quiet when gaming.
for info, stock the gpu consume 130w and with an undervolt and a slight oc (1800MHz) it conumes just above 100w
