- This was a really cool job to work on. I had just got done cutting a yard that's in that neighbor hood and I stopped to ask about yard number one ( the one with the pool in the back) the person I asked was the at house number 2 and it turned out to be the father of the man that lives in house number one. So if I haven't lost you yet what i found out is that his son has been working a massive amount of hours and has not been able to do any lawn work in the past several weeks. I asked how he would feel if i cut it for free as a gift for him. He said he wouldn't mind but he would probably not like me to cut the back.
just a side note people are often hesitant because the feel embarrassed or ashamed and I totally get it. If i knock on your door just know that I come from a place of understanding and I have been there before my self so I have no judgement.
back to the story I spoke with the father and explained what I do, why and how I am able to do it because you support my channel here on social media. after a bit of hesitation he asked me if I could help with his lawn as well. he told me that he has been struggling with his health condition and has no been able to breath well at all and has been extremely weak. on top of all that his wife who you will see in the video had just had a knee surgery that was giving her problems and she was scheduled to go back to have the surgery done again.
this is common for me to see, people that are overwhelmed or behind on their lawn work. There are lots of valid reasons that someone would fall behind on lawn work after all when things get crazy in our life we cant just flip a switch and make the grass stop growing.
I would like to take a second to personally thank you so much for taking the time to support the channel, Because of you I am able to not only cut lawns for free but on this case I have the man with health conditions $500 to put towards anything he needs. With the rising cost of everything I know that this is something that is much needed now days.

This channel is amazing all of them.What they do to make a difference in people's lives and yards. I wonder after they get mowed. How many of those people go out there and sit in their yard and just smile and breathe because it's a beautiful place again.
I was here when he made the first video on this chanel. He started this cahnnel becasue many people on his other channel didn't like all the talking during the video. They liked just hearing the mower, edger and leaf blower etc. He thought that was boring but ... came the beginning of the boring channel which surprising tto Kevin took off quickly.

Your brother worked with you and do you remember finding the stolen packages in that secluded wooded area? I remember your black pickup. Then you finally got a huge vac that sucked up the Fall leaves. Concentrating on what you love to do hasn't been easy but in the long run it has paid off. You go young man! 😊

He actually has 2 channels. He made this one because ppl complained on his philosophy he was saying on the other channel. He and his Dad ( Cabin on the Hill) have great videos out there and they go out of their way to help ppl. Wish we had ppl like this in Washington State. Just came across a post in my neighborhood where s woman with ms was hoping someone could do her yard. She can't pay alot so hoping someone does it for free or cheap but good work.

I wish I would have had more time on this. this was right before I took off to Arkansas to help them out. I would have really liked to cut down trees and just get it back to the fence line as far as I could for them

I lost my dad in 1982. My mom 2016 and both brothers in 2023. Its been so devastating time. It leaves me and my 5 Sisters 4 of us lost our husbands.😢

Well, I'm an 82 year old woman & just finished about 600 ft of my street cleaning it up of leaves & any trash so I could come in & relax watch you. IT's great physical Therapy working my street & caring for my neighbors yards as some medical issues happened. Last year I couldn't even put a cup of water in microwave without pain, now I reach over my head thanks to my long clippers I just got to get that branch down & the next one & finally most of pain is gone so it works. Hope your wife is doing OK & yes I did read it all the way to the end! (They think it was long Covid with me, I didn't have the vaccine but it attacked my nerves .
1 turned into 3! I really had to concentrate on which yard belong to which person! That's hard for me to do as I have mild OCD, and maybe a little ADHD. Kevin, you are such a good person and nice guy. And I love that you don't judge people as you realize that not everyone is able to keep up on things and pretty soon their yards are unmanageable. I do hope that lady's knee surgery helps her. In my case, I start watching your videos and should be outside mowing my own yard! I wonder if anyone's ever said that to you? Glad this shifted into helping at three different places. (I haven't seen a dinosaur hand puppet before.) Well, now I found out why you had such a long gap between the video and the comment section...Guess I do tend (not necessarily always) to see things through. At 18:02, I was admiring how you were changing the very appearance of the place to one that was very pleasant. Guess I am able to concentrate, noted the garage was apparently converted into a room. I think any input of help tends to increase hope. Thanks for your patience in moving things so you could do a neat job in the cluttered back. Relief was given to all.
Thought of your mom this morning. A seventy five year old lady had been mumbling about decorating her yard. This turned-out to mean she got out border fencing she's repainted white every year, some swag she found at a yard sale for $1 and things she's bought at the Dollar Store. By the time she was done, the yard was really cute and something people detour by to see. She'll apparently set-out painted rocks and hang things as a tea pot from a tree. So creativity is another talent people can use to encourage a smile out of people.

I can concentrate on your videos and not feel sorry for myself as I am recuperating from surgery, stuck straight legged in a wheelchair for a few more weeks. That guy was truly touched and I get it, I’ve always taken care of our yard until Covid and then my Dad came up from Fl after my Mom passed . He then got Dementia and I took care of him till he passed in 22 . Then I got sick so I hired out. I wish you were closer to N.C. I’ve reached out to a couple of guys but no response.
