Is there any way to update the bios without the battery connected? I won a vostro 3550 that have the same issue, but i cant update the bios because the notebook dont have battery. Its possible to, i dont know, make something like a jumper in the pins of the battery connector in the mainboard to fake a battery connection?

You need to force a bios update on msdos, search 'force bios update dell' on youtube theres alot of videos explaining how to do it
