Got to love those Pico's, you should try a pico .28 modified very nasty and not for the week hearted, need to turn down the idle a tad,and the low end is to lean but other than that it sounds ok when you here the chawbaka sound bottom is to lean, always adjust high end needle first then low end, and if it has a mid needle don't ever touch it it's only for racing you will get it towards end it got better, and if you haven't thicken diffs I highly recommend 100k in middle and 50 k front and rear that will give you way more power to ground 💯% and also suspension is a little bouncy, 30wt front 40/45 rear
Yea I took the mid speed out when I checked all o rings and cleaned carb, and I just had the idol screw a little high while dialing it in, I wish I could find a good 28 Picco or 26 a good one not Ofna but they are hard to find there was one on eBay and I let it get away thanks for watching
The D8t was the favorite RC I ever owned . Was my favorite car to race . Think I was the only one in my area to keep the original body on it . Most didn't like it ,but I thought it looked great . Raced mine with an RB C6 engine . That was back in 2010
I use the flysky gt5 FS-GT5 you can program up to 20 Cars on it so all you have to do for Each car is buy a receiver for 21$ on Amazon the receiver cost about 75-80$ it's digital screen and it has long range with minimal interference
Because the mid needle was in way to far and your low speed goes to the mid speed ! Sow if the mid speed is in to far when you lean out low speed it will bottom out on mid and open throttle
@@RuggedRc As it just so happens I am outside tuning my 2.5 motor. It’s temperamental sometimes when the filter gets wet or I accidentally lower the idle to far down. In my situation if I lower the gap past a certain point it leans the low needle and raises the idle No matter how fat it’s set. So I have to settle with a semi normal gap with a rich low needle just to keep her happy The engine ran 10 gallons and I switched the crank to a 3.3 crank and the bearings I put some good ones in there I forget the name but they were good bearings. Since then it’s been running better than it did before lol. It just slowly looses its snap the older it gets lol. 👍😎
Awesome sauce ☺️🥳🥹👊😎. Let’s say a revo 3.3 model with a different engine A 4.6 out of a Savage My question is how do I make it more drivable and not so mush power to the wheels at low speeds My truck is just absolutely balls to the wall an absolute beast power house I have blown gears just hitting the throttle What I’ve done so far is shrunk the exhaust half a inch to gain more on the high end and less snort on the take offs Added smaller wheels from a 1/10 Teaxzas Maxx Still it’s to much power Next will be the center diff and gear size swap After that I have no idea what to do there’s just to much power and I might have to switch engines What do you say 👊😎
You can gear it up a little, run it on the rich side where it will be a little sluggish on bottom but still rip on mid and top also loosen slipper clutch
@@RuggedRc I’m slowly dialling it in I just don’t want to blow it apart with the power before I can have fun with it lol. That’s apart of the fun though the learning what can take what and which is the best avenue to take for both avenues Speed or Bashing hardcore. 👊😎

You port the sleeve and open each port different at the right amount to increase the timing. Like the intake port and the induction window on the crank shaft but you want to be able to know how to measure the timing numbers so you will kind of have an ideal on what you want to change to increase the timing but you can do some small mods just on crank sleeve and backplate to get a little more power, I will have some content on this in the near future! Thanks for watching and asking

Awesome 👍 Yea I love it, thanks for stopping by
Love the picco bro always makes great power !!!
Yes they rip bro, 👍 thanks for watching
i had the mid needle too lean so when you screw in low speed it pushes throttle out cause it had nowhere to go hitting the mid that was in to far
Sweet 👍
Thanks 👍
Nice ..love picco engines
Same here, bro
The Picco does a good job in the Truggy 👍 wich 21 Picco is that?
Not sure but I believe it is P3TT with blast colling head and a different rod too, it a Frankenstein engine, I bought it that way
What Radio and receiver are you using for your nitro rig? I just bought my first 1/8 nitro buggy.

Why is the idle so high as your tuning the low needle leaner
What’s your idle gap set to

Hmmm I can sorta picture that.
I’ve only had 1 3 needle carb and I hated it lol.
Yea I'm hating it now I took it out and check o rings and forgot the setting or got it and low mixed up lol

You need to add taller tires to gear it up so you will lose low end power
I shredded diffs spurs drive shafts until I loosened the slipper you need that slipper to slip a little
