Have a 2021 Titan XD Pro-4X and LOVE IT. Extremely comfortable but still "truckish." Fantastic engine and powertrain - smooth, tons of torque, tuned great. The top end numbers are with high-test gas, but regular runs it just fine. Excellent elecfronic packages and the seats are AMAZING.
People talk about the XD as not being competitive with 3/4 tons and that even some half tons w max tow packages out tow it. What they don't get is that the XD isn't built to compete with the 3/4 tons; it is actually a very beefy 1/2 ton. It tows 11,000+ lbs WITH 4-wheel drive. Other 1/2 tons w 4WD
max out at about 8700-9300 lbs, Its payload is about 400-500 lbs more as well. Not 3/4 ton territory but provides significant extra capacity.
I have a 30' RV (7500 lbs); fully loaded and w our truck loaded also it drives like a dream- smooth and stable - especially w anti-sway rig. W the 4WD, locking differential, hill descent controls, skid plates, higher ground clearance etc it also is a confident off roader and w tie down system and Titan boxes its also a GREAT work truck on my farm, while also being conpletely comfortable in town. It is big though - longer, wider, and taller than almost any spec truck out there. I like that though, and also the 100k, 5 year total warranty.
There Isn't a perfect truck out there - all make tradeoffs somewhere. The XD isn't the truck for everyone, but its exactly what I need and I couldn't be happier.
Sounds like an ad I know. Its not. But people need to drop the weird brand loyalty. I was a Ford guy for years and have so many friends who stick w their brand and then complain that it doesn't do this or that which they need. You need to first define and prioritize your needs and THEN look at your options. I did and the XD was nearly perfect.

I think a BIG plus in my opinion, which I am sure someone probably already mentioned here, is that Titans have a 5 year/100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty on them. If you're a person that drives more than 12,000 miles a year or plans on owning a vehicle for more than a couple of years that sure is a nice thing to have. I'm not 100% positive but I don't think any other truck manufacturer gives that kind of warranty on their trucks.

Odd that Nissan hyped up the Cummings diesel engine and worked on r and d so long with them just to have it as an option for only 3 years. I'm still going to buy this truck though. It's more athletic and easier to maneuver than any other large truck and that v8 is time tested to last. Many of the 1st gens in my area are pushing 400k miles and it's hard to find one with less than 180k miles

Not sure why these mainstream reviewers like KB & car & driver don't give Nissan more love....... I've driven the Ford, Dodge & Chevy 1/2 tons and as far as I'm concerned the Nissan is better than all of them especially when you throw in the 5year 100,000 mile warranty. Each has pros & cons, Chevy has great motor options & better mileage but the interior feels cheap & poorly constructed, same with Dodge. Fords warranty is a joke and the majority of ford owners I've met have end up having some issues with their vehicles (brand loyalty baffles me).

With a Ram 3500 I towed over 15,000. Be realistic about the sort of load people actually tow. Different if you had 2,000 pounds in the bed, which I don't think you can with the Titan?

No one will buy this, if they are serious. Maybe the dealership will have an unlimited mileage power train warranty, like the Nashville Nissan (1mile from corporate) does.

I have never heard of tranny or drivetrain probs on this vehicle with the standard V8 (not sure about the Cummins model). Besides, the truck comes standard with a 100k mile/5 year drivetrain warranty. Nissan and Toyota trucks are very reliable, in my experience.

Oh shit!! Electronics are already going out on this truck. Oh well, that is what truck guys wanted, air blowing up their ass.

If you want a truck, fuel mileage is not the first concern.

This is very misleading. When you show the Baja storm pro 4x and say Titan xd review but the xd isn’t shown until the last minute of the video and it’s in a different trim level I feel my time was just totally wasted. I thought I was looking at the xd and not at the regular Titan. Unsubbed. Good luck with your channel.

The fact that Lyn did the review was icing on the cake!! As for the truck, its alil half baked. It'll be hard to knock the Big 3 off their perches.
