Brayden Rummell I drive an F150; but I test drove the Ranger out of curiosity. The best word I can use for it is “acceptable.” It does it’s job; but I don’t think long term; you’d be happy. I mean ;if you want a mid- size In that category; I’d advice giving a Chevy Colorado a look.

Right! If they wpuld have brought that warrior to production it would have boosted titan sales big time! I cant wrap my head around why they wouldn't produce it. All they would have to do is supercharge the 5.6 to about 500hp and price it at 65k. The looks alone wpuld sell it even if it just had the regular 5.6.

I was thinking if they built a dually, the payload and tow capacity would be a bit higher than the normal XD, and as such would probably require a little beefier powerplant. Get Cummins to produce a new one just for Nissan. To rival the big 3 in power and performance.

I agree on the Ram interior being the best having been in the market in late 2018. Looked at the Titan then and they were bottom dwellers on interiors. Looked at this video as well and can't tell but I am one to have to see it in person to really determine that. I kept my last truck for 20 years, only 19 more years to go before I start looking again.
I agree. Because Chevy and gmc truck interiors are horrible. The tundras interior is old af too. F150 interior is ok. And clearly dodge interior is way above everyone else, but I wouldn't want a huge 12 inch screen. I prefer large knobs that are easy to use while keeping my eyes on the road

Considering that Nissan dumped the Cummins for 2020 I would imagine a dually (w/ solely a gas engine) in production with a Nissan badge on it will not be in the forceable future.

Titans are probably the most uderated, most looked over trucks in the world. But their is no reason really, I've had my 06 since new and now my dad just got a 17, they are both fantastic.
SEMA have evolved to the current trend. High End/Fashion Off road trucks-SUV are what the cool adults are rocking these days. Multifunctional capable rigs and also some still silly slammed ones.
Proud owner of a 2021 Titan Pro 4X and it's an absolutely awesome truck. I've owned every make of pick up and these Titans are by far the best or equal to the Tundras. Not even mentioning the big 3 because their all garbage. One negative... I need Nissan to make a bed cover that works with the sports bar. Just saying.
This comment section is filled with people that have no clue. Im sitting in my 2019 Titan Pro4x and staring at my neighbours black rental f150. New last fall was his 2018 F150 ....also new this spring ...a motor. Now it been back at the dealer a ton of times since then. 1600kms on the clock. That tub is ready to be traded in.
The XD could have been a bigger seller if they marketed it better and gave it more payload and towing. 2500lb payload and 14,000lb towing would have been perfect. The xd the way it is could do that now. I had 1500lbs of salt gel in mine and it only leveled out the truck. That same load in my 2014 f250 had it squatted down big time. I think the xd is way underrated and can easily and safely tow and haul more than its rated for.
I would like to attend SEMA someday. I am always working when this happens and I need to fly to get there. Someday, I will plan to be off to fly to this event. Pretty cool cars.
Have had every make and model of 4x4 trucks throughout many years. Traded a 4x4 Tundra for my 2021 4x4 Titan Pro4x. Love my Titan. Good trade, enjoy this truck definitely in my opinion 1 up on all others
It does have an offroad mode and billstein shocks skid plates rear locker and hill descent. The tundra TRD pro doesn't even have a rear locker or hill descent.
@@dragoonTT not really Ford, Ram and Nissan all offer selectable lockers and Chevy does have the autolocker. So you only have to do without one if you want a Toyota.
dash cam wiring would be cool. I have a dash cam in my 15 Titan that I ran the wire myself into my center console but having a factory run wires is always nice.
Ford says that's normal consumption. I have a 18 Silverado 6.2 that's really nice. But, damn the Godzilla 7.3 engine looks like a real winner. May be my next truck 4 or 5 years from now. Heck, something bigger and badder probably grab my attention by then though. Maybe epa will give diesels a break and might go that route. As they are now, no way.
I feel these trucks are trying to keep up with Ram and they just can't seem to find the same mojo. Ram is the top truck right now for sure. Loaded with technology, great looks, real comfortable, extremely durable and amazing engineering. You don't say that for the other trucks.

If Nissan wants to dethrone Toyota, Ram, F150, Sierra, etc. They need to release that Titan they showed at the autoshow last Jan. These sticker upgrades and a step rail will not do it.
Gerardo Linares my last truck was a titan and I had over 300k miles on it with nothing but basic maintence. So have several of my buddies...my ford has been less reliable. Your high if you think any American made truck is tougher than a titan and that’s a fact.
This truck needs to have a more "custom" option like CHEVY (Custom vs Trail Boss). I truly believe Nissan's truck sales would significantly increase. Not everybody wants all the fancy bells and whistles. Give me a rugged looking TITAN Pro-4x with some more bare bones options and I'm in. I would really like a front split bench option. Sharp looking truck though.
If Nissan made the Titan XD with proper 2500/3500/4500 frames, and the dually option, it would give them an edge over Toyota, and put them in the runnings with Ford, Ram, and GM.

I hate the fact that the cummins is no longer available and that the xd warrior never made it into production. That would have been a badass truck. I did notice that the dually has the cummins logo but I’m not thinking it will make it into production unless Nissan is going to step up to 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.
Sooooo the titan dually LOOKS like a 6’ bed also you’d have to beef up the Cummins in it to somewhat compete but it just don’t make sense. With the tow wars going on up to 30k+ towing with a dually, the titan will fall short especially if they keep the v platform from Cummins since they already have an inline that’s well known. And you have to buy 2 more tires for a truck that could maybe tow as much as a 2500/250 single rear wheel. I just don’t see it. End rant
Hmmmm Nissan fixed a few things I didn't like with the Titan but still not happy with the engine power,compared to my EcoBoost or former 6.2L Chev. How the 9 speed and engine work together will be key for its performance and mpg. Love the Pro4X,even comes with one of my favorite tires now. Not sure Pro4X is even available with a king cab tho,I need the box space not cab space.
They really went all out... take a look at those marker lights now take a look at these custom mud flaps... now hold on check out the orange in the logo yeah that’s custom so this will run you 65k but it’s all custom...

Tires and rims look awesome. I like the front marker lights but not that one that looks half assed stuck on the side wheel flare.

They're probably an option from the catalog and not standard equipment. My guess is $2,000.00 mounted and balanced lol...

Its frame is the NV4500 frame. It is a heavy duty frame. Only thing that limits it is the rear axle and 6 lug wheels.

Nissan fixed a few things I didn't like with the Titan but still not happy with the engine power,compared to my EcoBoost or former 6.2L Chev.
How the 9 speed and engine work together will be key for its performance and mpg.
Love the Pro4X,even comes with one of my favorite tires now.
Not sure Pro4X is even available with a king cab tho,I need the box space not cab space.

They really went all out... take a look at those marker lights now take a look at these custom mud flaps... now hold on check out the orange in the logo yeah that’s custom so this will run you 65k but it’s all custom...
