Lisa, I absolutely adore you and your ability to teach. You alone have helped me get to such an amazing place in my career. I’d like your feed back on something if you have the energy/time to answer. (I know you’re very busy with your books) If I was reading this for a client I would’ve said one thing different. The house of bouquet (to me) is all about outward appearances, looks, beauty, etc. With mice falling in bouquet I probably would’ve advised the querent that while everything else looks good, there may be some small problems within the inside or outside of the home that bother them due to maybe a loss of appearance. Maybe some things in the home aren’t quite “up to date” and could use some renovation. Maybe the walls need to be painted or something minor like doors aren’t very attractive… I’d probably tell them not to allow the appearance issues to thwart them since we can always fix any issues later on… What do you think about that interpretation? I think one thing I’ve learned from you is that it’s really about how we as readers decide on meanings and stick with them so for me the cards wouldn’t have fallen the way they did for you thus I wouldn’t have come to that conclusion
Hello, Tommy, and thank you for your lovely comment! I love the way you view the House of Bouquet! It certainly describes outward appearances and the attempt to beautify them. Your interpretation is perfect. And, you are right on the money with your last statement!!!!! The cards will show up and fall into place based on how we interpret them - on the meanings we give them - on whether or not we use houses or read left to right or right to left, etc.
Thanks Lisa, interesting way of doing this. I must admit when I saw "Chaining" I was expecting to see for example, turn card 29 and then follow to the house of clover, then follow to whatever card was in clover's house. If that makes sense.
Hello love your interpretation methods 😄. Would you please be so kind in doing a video of your card meanings. I'm a beginner would love to Learn more about the meanings of each card. Thanking you in advance😘
Hello Sulaiman, and welcome to Lenormand! Out of curiosity, are you watching the videos in order? I've considered making a set of videos on the card meanings but wasn't sure how many beginners are watching my channel. For now, you can read them in my book, www.amazon.com/Petit-Lenormand-Oracle-Comprehensive-Century-ebook/dp/B08YNZ6TKS/ref=sr_1_2?crid=575OXIK2K9OH&dchild=1&keywords=lisa+young-sutton&qid=1619271206&sprefix=Lisa+young-%2Caps%2C188&sr=8-2
Love your videos!! So to clarify for me...you start with the theme of the cards and then ask questions/or what may come to you and explain why you chose that card / house ..to answer that question and then if something else comes up --you go to that house..explaining WHY of course, and then give the meaning for it that answers the question...?? So you may sometimes just turn over 6 cards or maybe then even 12 or more or less-- depending what questions come up that connect to the main question...???
Hi Patti! I’d say it this way: you have to approach the cards with a topic; something you want to gain insight on. You decide which houses relate to your topic. Those are the houses you’ll look at. You can also tell the cards that you’ll look at the cards that fall in the intersecting houses (this is optional). You tell this to the cards while you’re shuffling so they know how to fall. Here, I chose the houses of House (the topic is the house we wanted to buy), Me (how do I fit into the story), Bouquet (our offer), Heart (how I’ll feel about the house), Cross (what I won’t like about it), Ways (what decision we’ll make or will be made for us), Ring (will we agree/sign a contract), Stork (will we move forward with this project). You now have told the cards the houses you’ll be looking at, so the correct cards will fall there to tell you the story. You’ll then turn only the cards in those houses over and read them. How will those cards answer the question that the house is asking? I then turn over the cards in the houses that connect any two houses that I want more information on. When I say, “connect”, I’m referring to the intersecting points just as you’d connect two points on a graph. Does that make sense?
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 THANK YOU!! Your reply has helped and clarify things for me....Keep the videos coming...love them!! Thank you for your continued guidance....
Hi Lisa You mentioned that this type of GT is multifaceted, does that mean I can put forward another question/ area of interest to the same GT or would I need to set another intention and lay another GT ? Hope this makes sense
Hi Tina. Yes, it makes perfect sense! You can ask several questions related to the same theme. So, you're laying a GT for a particular theme. Traditionally, it was laid for a specific person to see how their life would unfold over a particular period of time. You can also lay a GT for a single theme that has several questions connected to it. So, the theme here is the viewing of the house/meeting with the realtor. I could search for any question related to that theme within this same GT. Does that make sense?
Hi Lisa, I enjoy this GT, for example, if you have on House Tower + on Heart Heart + on Cross Lily + on Ring Birds, It seems it will be more a verbal agreement of somehow not really purchase at the moment? I am curious of your point of vue
I'd love to provide my point of view, but I can't "see" what you're referring to. You have to consider the entire GT because any section of the GT can have various meanings that are contingent upon the context of the reading and the way all the cards are working together to create a cohesive story. Any grouping of cards within a GT will offer more than one explanation depending upon what question you're trying to answer - what lead are you following through the map - what the proximity is to the seeker and any life area cards. For example, when you look at those cards, are you trying to answer what's going on at work or with the family or a personal relationship or with the kids or your finances. Do you see what I'm saying?
Question; wich card can you use with a question about an application: you have applied and want to know how this will go further - Fox for work / function (Fox is my workcard) - PK for the questioner - Letter for an invitation or rejection - Birds for job interview - Heart; how will I feel here - cross; what is the reason for not doing it - Ring for contract Do I miss any card? thank you in advance!
Great question Anneke, and I love the way you're thinking! I perform a lot of career and life path readings, so I'll share the cards I use. In addition to the cards you've mentioned, the Rider is a new idea or new information that comes to you and starts the ball rolling. Clover is an opportunity that pops up. The Ship is going the distance/seeking or going for opportunities for betterment. The Bear is taking charge or managing/protecting what's yours (possessions or projects). The Star is for something that's progressing in the right direction - you're going where you're meant to go. A successful new path is progressing as it should. This can be in the thinking stages. The Tower can show being held up by red tape, rules, and regulations will force you to go through many levels or channels before you get where you want to be. It's also the card of experts and authorities. The Garden is for the public, networking, alliances, expansion, or your audience. The Book is for what are you missing and what you still need to learn. The Sun is seeing things clearly, optimism, determination, and the energy you put into a project. The Moon is how you're being viewed by others or how you're being regarded. How popular you'll be, what kind of attention will you receive, and how you'll be perceived. The Key shows that opportunity is knocking and you hold the key to open the door. It's also the card of solutions and strategies. It's the permission you want after going through the Tower! The Fish for exchages and transactions as well as quantity and value. And, the Anchor represents where you've dropped it. Your determination to reach the goal, being steadfast, persevering, being consistent and having a firm grip. It's also the card of a solid foundation. I think I got them all!
Thank you Lisa! That was amazing! I have a question: could the mice on the bouquet mean that they may ask you for more money? Since the fish is on the gentleman who arranges the whole thing and mice is lose for you giving/loosing money.... Just a thought that stuck with me. Could we read it like this?
You betcha! Great job, btw. What "took away" from our offer was that so many people wanted the house that there was a bidding war and it wasn't worth any more money to us so we backed out. The house wound up selling for $20,000 over the asking price!!!!
I'm curious, now that we know that you didn't buy the house. How would you explain that the Ring fell in the house of Ring? Oh, and the fish spoke about a transaction? It did really look like you were about to be the owner of that house when you looked at the cards.
The ring landing in ring shows the acceptance of the offer. There was a meeting of the minds between us. We made a promise (25) and they agreed (25). Now, look at the Mice in the house of offers and the Tree in the house of Cross. We took back (23) our offer because we'd have to wait (5) too long for the house. Remember what the question was when I laid the cards - I didn't ask if we'd buy it or move into it, I asked how the meeting would go, how I'd feel about the house, and about our offer. I think what excited me most was that I could see that the house would be ours if we really wanted it.
Lisa Hi! A question please: in the video you pick one card in the chosen houses and then see where they connect with the others, like where they intersect. In your book you chain those houses, eg anker in house of house, then what is in the house of anker etc. Is it just two different ways to do it? Thank you Lisa! Love love this!
Excellent observation, Gerda! Yes, this is a different technique in that you don't want to go too far. I think chaining houses requires intuition and experience, because, let's face it - you could go on chaining forever and get totally lost! If I'm focusing on a very specific topic, as in this video, I don't want to go too far. Does that make sense?
Hi, Lisa love your Video's, If you have on the Line of Destiny: Mouse on (Key) + Fish (Fish) + Clover (Anker) + Lys (Cross) What could it mean to you? I see it as: "Loosing luck in financial matters & Contentment Or Loosing Sexual pleasures & contentment" ? Thanks
Whether you're speaking of sexual pleasure or financial matters would depend upon the context of the reading and the surrounding cards. Fish in its own house speaks of great value, increased and abundance. Mouse in Key = running out of solutions or running out of time to use that key. Clover in Anchor = an unexpected or sudden opportunity or a coincidence or brief encounter regarding reaching your goals or a brief but enjoyable bit of security or safety. What is Lys?
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 Lys is usually a card of Morality, Sex, Wisdom, ... Can also be a timing card. The Context was about Love, " Did she have someone else?"
Our offer was accepted but we ultimately backed out because they couldn't find a house and we found another while waiting. That was the message of the Mouse -we were gradually worn down by the waiting and eventually lost that house but found another.
We didn't buy that house. They accepted our offer, but we didn't want to wait. Something really was gnawing at me regarding that house and we canceled the offer.
