Thankfully, we will no longer be seeing the Tory MP Peter Bone as a guest on this show. Dreadful man as proved by today's findings.

The current USA version has people doing Comunity projects and also rehabilitating rescue pets. These are out in schemes people can do, shaming them isn’t going to make them want to do this. You want them to feel proud of helping their Conunity. I’ve Been saying this for a long time it save money for the public purse and also means you don’t need to build more prisons. They should be expected to support the area they committed the crime in. It should be jobs like litter picking and landscaping, general painting and graffiti removal. Talks to kids about why they don’t want to endup in prison. You can also have in jail programs where they help rehabilitate rescue pets that they’re paired with. This has been shown to be therapeutic and have god affects on. Those inside but also has been shown that the animals are more likely to be rehomed. It’s a win win

Question = why does the UK at the moment have one off the highest amounts off criminals in prison’s , let me share a few thoughts , welfare of the citizens living with the least resources most probably leads to a form of desperation, A Government riddled with incompetence and Laziness is locking up Their Problem , There’s no programming to rehabilitate prisoners in Britain, the Netherlands has the best record on this , change is needed ,

Chain gangs are actually inmates, that’s why they’re chained together. So they don’t escape. If you’re trusting them to turn up and be able to go home at the end of it then it’s absolutely pointless chaining them together. We already use “community service”/“community payback orders”. Weird how old this video is, and yet the prisons are presented as a labour construct. There are NOT enough employers offering work, timpsons are great in their support but how many key cutters do they (or can they even, realistically)recruit nationally from prisons each year? There is nowhere near enough resources for rehabilitation, and rest assured if they’re being released at the end of their punishment they NEED rehabilitation and support or it’s a revolving door system.
Also Texas has the highest prison population of any state with the second highest number of exonerations, which makes me wonder if anyone else finds it a bit concerning that anyone would look to there for guidance on justice in the first place.
