I was able to do this on my iPhone 11 Pro Max using the original battery I put on a Ampsentrix tag on flex cable did reading correct it to 0 and 100% did write in and the error data write in failed please try again came up so I did read write again two more times and same message! I put a different battery in my iPhone got the message IMPORTANT BATTERY MESSAGE then I put the original battery back in the phone turned it on and to my surprise it worked it was at 100% battery health, I did this using my Apollo Interstellar One. It is my belief you can use the original battery every time if you want to. On iPhones XS XR XSMax and older you don't need a tag on flex cable.
Unfortunately not yet. I’m sure some company will crack it eventually but just like Face or Touch ID are specific to their phone so too is the battery BMS

I have done the same, i welldet and not damage it..added tagg on flex then i read the data it reads but it says write fail so it reads but writing is not working I dont know why.. its frustating
I have paste original ribbon to new battery then : 1. Read - saved 2. Cycle life clear - success 3. Effiency - success 4. Write in - success But after test on phone it still display old battery health 75% What is wrong & where is my mistake anyone can help.? I have try repeat for 3 times but still 75%
It's sick how Apple installed a chip board with custom data even in their batteries (also in the screen and vibrator). It serves no other purpose than making replacement more difficult. For the average user to get a programmer and battery contact welder, it makes no sense. smh

So you have transfer the old flex? Is there no way to copy all the id data to the new battery altogether?

you don't have to do anything with the iphone x, just replace the battery and that's it.
Only from iphone xs onwards are there messages.

So you have to buy two batteries??
Basically yeah but you can buy 1 battery with bms chip get error message then swap chip but it is way harder than what he showed in the video

Try charging the battery a bit then try again with the read/write

You need to connect another battery and have the battery message pop up. Then plug in your battery you fixed and it should go to 100%
