In case you missed my comment in a previous post, your best option is to lease. Long term. That way you don’t have to worry about documentations.

Do you offer the same assistance to all foreigners who want to acquire a property in the Philippines?
Best to get independent legal advice and go for a long term lease. You’re right you most likely will not survive the 75 years. No a condominium is not comparable . That’s more a corporation so limited to 40% foreign ownership for the whole building. Filipino citizenship is by bloodline and where in the world you’re born is not relevant. Just be careful and find your own lawyer and ask your embassy for advice on who to contact.

Mariane Azenith, Yes, but Basel's case is different. Mike and Nelly are still Foreigners and are not allowed to own Land/Lot, tho they can buy/own Condo, Apartment (excluding lot), Vehicles and Appliances.

The Philippines follows the "Jus Sanguinis" principle. This means that your future child (if born here) will acquire your citizenship and not the Philippines. Good luck with your future lease.
Correct, but, if born here, they will be given a chance to opt for becoming a permanent resident.

@@rodrigoduterte8337 indeed and it’s is my simple opinion that the property value cannot possibly be that high that it outweighs the benefits of an EU citizenship. I’m a Dutch national who worked and lived in the Philippines for 10 years and I know how complex it can be to return to Europe. Not to mention the benefits of unlimited free medical care.

You have to check with the reliable person. Only Filipinos can buy land but you can buy condo. Inquire in the office of the assessor

Beware of people or agents out there on selling you property. There are Philippine laws regarding foreigner owning businesses or lands. Much better to check and consult with a Philippines agency LAND REGISTRATION AUTHORITY regarding the matter. It's not same as buying a condo unit since you're just one of the owners of one corporation in a condominium building.

Yes, you can’t buy land in the Philippines. But you can rent a house near the ocean or in the mountain. Eigth miles from home is renting a home at the beach. Beautiful place. It is in Siargao. Check their area.
They know about it. Remember, mike and nellie were locked down at Siargao with J, J's mother, Sacha, & Story last year. 8 Miles even visited them 2 times as well as another pair of TH-camrs, Martin & Ave.
After 6 months locked down in Siargao, mike and nellie returned home(BGC) by driving their car from Siagao to BGC, Martin & Ave continued to Boracay, while J, Sacha, & Story decided to live in Siargao. J's mother returned to England. Eden joined 8 miles from England and died last month(she's a 16 yrs old dog).
They have the rights to own properties because Peanut is a pure filipina blood daughter of Kuya Mike and Ate Nelly🤣🤣🤣joke lang po😅😅😅

Yes, foreigners cannot buy land in the Ph because if they allow it, no land will be left for Filipinos 'cause many foreigners will buy it for sure. We, Filipinos, will be ended up renting our own land if that happens.
Isn't is that's what happened in the Phil, Chinese people owned big houses in the Phil even Chinese cemeteries are huge just like a community and yet the locals live in a shanty houses and most of them are illegal dwellers.

Make sure that the land have right of way as well. Quite a lot places have been sold where there are no access.
Well I was a former Filipino I’m American citizen by naturalization my wife and I been married for 32 and since we’ve married we’ve been buying properties in the Philippines so my wife stays Filipino citizen so we can achieve it. Now both our kids got dual citizen so we can pass it down to our children. Best of luck to both of you wishes great things with your venture. Oh our lands in the southern Leyte mainly.
Nelly’s assumption that her child with Mike being born in the Philippines will have Filipino citizenship is in error. Philippine citizenship like so many other countries, is by blood, not by birth. Mike and Nelly’s child will still take on an Austrian citizenship. Their best bet is for both of them to become naturalized citizens.
It’s just her unknowingly thought about citizenship can make it possible but depending on the country. Not sure of how the Philippines as far as that issue. In the US that is possible but a child needs to be 18 to decide of which is his or her nationality is going to be. But the child would get the benefit like everyone else since birth. Or practice polygamous relationship have another partner particularly a Filipino citizen have child with her. 😂😂😂😂 Just an idea don’t you do it Mike and Nelly you guys are perfect together. @@joaquincalvar1524 In the Philippines, Citizenship of a child is by "Jus Sanguinis", which is by Blood and/or Citizenship of Parents, whereas in other countries like the US it's by "Jus Soli", which is by Place of Birth.

Unless you have someone you know for years on and trust , lease for 50 is your best option.
When you lease a land here in the Philippines, check that the title (or the tax declaration) is annotated about your lease. Better if the property is Titled.

Check with municipal plan and bureau of land, to check the real owner and if the land is alienable or disposable land. Most of the land in the province do not have a title it is under tax declaration or still owned by the government.

Suggest to go with a long lease so that it's only both your rights for at least 75 years. While a partner is okay, even if trustworthy, there is still potential of a problem.
