- It has been over 2 years since we have been to the legendary Filipino mountain city Baguio. Travel restrictions eased up a bit and we decided to take a trip up to the North to enjoy some spectacular views.

Since you are in Baguio, you must go to visit Atok, Benguet. It's a 2-hour drive from Baguio. The Northern Blossom Flower Farm in Atok has a spectacular view from the top, and weather there is much lower than Baguio's temperature. 😊

Join the cadets at the Philippine Military Academy for lunch. They do allow special visitors to join them at the mess hall. Its one experience you'll never forget. I've done it twice :)

Yes, Baguio is beautiful I’ve forgotten how beautiful it is there. I used to work for a mining company at Camp 6 before I moved to Vancouver 27 years ago. Thanks Mike and Nelly for showcasing Baguio again.

My mom is from Ilocos region and my father is from Benguet, whenever we had time and during vacation, roadtrips were always looked forward to, until now we've grown up, my siblings always look forward to going home either to Ilocos or to Baguio Benguet, u always enjoy the plains then the trek to mountains and vice versa❤❤❤

if you have a chance to go to Cebu someday, try passing by Dalaguete. It's like the Baguio of Cebu, but you can see the sea on your way down. Friends of mine brought me therr when I visited Cebu back in 2019. Veggies are so cheap, people are friendly.

I've been to Baguio 2007..I would say there's a lot of changes now..I really missed the cold weather in Baguio city.
U can go to atok benguet mike + nelly and visit flower blossom garden there + straightaway heading to highest point,the view is so stunning specially u hv the drone.

I used to work at the biggest BMW dealership here in the south and I knew the feeling of driving an X5 let alone the latest brand. My Birthplace.... Proud from Baguio City.... I stayed there from birth to 27 yrs old....
My brother drives Manila to Baguio too for 2 1/2 hours before even without the skyway. You should hold on to your seat and pray for everyone's safety while he does his driving. 🙏
Panagbenga or the flower festival is celebrated during the whole month of February in Baguio. With the pandemic, they might have some activities cancelled but I hope that there are still some left that you might see before the month ends. You may get in touch with the Department of Tourism there.

I've been in Baguio when i was 27yrs old. I'm alteady 62. Way back was still not crowded just like Tagaytay today. I only see Pine trees, fresh air & lush green forest w/ few commercial buildings & hotels around. Now the last time i was there was 2012. I was bit shock how the mountains looks like w/ a lot of houses built side by side in every mountain in my way to Baguio.Still a beautiful city but i prefer way back then.
When you go home you need to visit the mountain road from Pangasinan to Zambales. It is so awesome!

Can't wait to come home to Baguio city. This weekend we took a 2 1/2 hours to the mountains of California lake Tahoe. Had a good time despite the place packed with tourists.

My birthplace when my Dad was assigned at Camp Allen altho I was raised here in Manila... all my growing years we would travel to Baguio esp during the summer and sometimes during the coldest and rainy months. Glad that you traveled up there again, while George and Lucy drove down south to Tagaytay Highlands...missed your travel up North with them, esp to Sagada.

Yes, it's located in Mt.Sto Thomas, 30-minute drive from Baguio dowtown
..and don't forget to have a cup of coffee in Baguio/Benguet, must try the Barako coffee, the region best seller coffee being exported as well.

I really miss traveling to the Philippines by car. You can really appreciate the landscapes and the weather is great! I did not know you can do Manila to Baguio in 2 and half hours!
