This is actually untrue. Getting sore hocks has to do with how they distribute their weight. If you flip a rabbit over and it’s back feet are “V’d” instead of parallel that means all the weight goes to its heels. My house bunny is being treated for sore hocks, and she lives in my room, no wire in sight. However, yes, if a rabbit has V feet AND is on wire cage, it speeds up the process a lot and gets worse. My point in short, Wire does not cause Sore hocks however it can make it worse with “V’d” feet.
I’m glad you corrected your mistake. If anyone needs to know what I’m talking about. You should NEVER bring the male to the female. She may become aggressive as they are VERY territorial.
Uhm ACTUALLY never pick rabbits up from the neck... It causes them to go in a panic because thats how birds like eagles and hawks pick them up. Get your facts straight before putting it on the internet.
Thats the most worst cage i have ever seen... Give them hay veggies and pellets a BOWL not a water bottle and get a cage that dosent have wires on the bottom its just a disgusting cage
@@lewischapman2501 yea, thats the thing with some breeders they just dont care its horrible! You dont even make that much from breeding its just disgusting what he is doing.
@@Bunnn13 yea I breed Rex rabbits but they have a outdoor pen and indoor massive enclosures if your going to breed they should ac least put them in better enclosures
@@lewischapman2501 yeah i agree im probably going to breed my flemish giants but my rabbits already have a very large cage and they are indoor so they dont get cold since it gets very cold where i am.
Those buns need something to get them off the wire bottom. Some sort of mat or tile. They need toys and enrichment
Did you not see the wood to keep them off the wire?
And butter, rabbits are delicious with butter.
It might be a temporary "station"
Um you shouldn’t have cage bottom flooring have a pad for their feet or they will get really raw
I'm not sure how you missed it but they have floored hutches/hides.
EternalBlackFox !!! I agree.

Those enclosures are cruel, when they hop out of the hutch that wire is really bad for their feet and it’s too small.
Thats animal abuse housing rabbits like that!
