I’ve going through some huge life changes at the moment due to a ‘cardiac’ event 4weeks ago so I’m hoping to get back to the bench and become a more active member of the group. So you post a bit less, who cares As for begging for links I go back - probably - thirty years to a numpty who wanted to know about a company they had an interview with //the next day//. Clearly the concept of due diligence was alien to them. A few seconds later I posted a link to the company's website thinking 'I'm bu**ered if I'm reading it for you!' so yeah I understand how irritating such people can be. Re the 'staying in touch with family' b0ll0cks.. 100% pink fluffy ocean going 18 carat BS! Has he never heard of Skype, Zoom, Whats App, etc.? I use the latter daily to stay in touch with my brother living in London 160 miles away, and even when he's on holiday. I'm housebound and even use Zoom for meetings at the museum I volunteer with. I'd never even /heard/ of Discord (I originally thought people were saying 'Discworld' and wondered WTF Terry Pratchett had to do with it *LOL*). You're the bigger man Luke for not responding and kudos to you for that :) Re the Shannon class lifeboat.. it will be interesting to see if you agree with other modellers that it's not really a Starter Set as it has some fragile / fiddly bits. Otherwise we get to watch free when you and others have probably spent a few hundred pounds setting your equipment up - 4K cameras (and most of you have more than one camera ), lighting, microphones, hell the software - and that's not cheap! - plus of course you're all buying the modelling supplies, which OK you probably would anyway, but not at such a high rate if you didn't have to keep up a regular flow of content for the channel.
