@@rubenbustamante1828 I was out there this weekend. It's not like the gang bangers are out there shooting random people everyday. Are you a gang banger that you're worried they're going to come after you? SMH
Loved it! Do a taco tour of Little Village!!! Also, you just missed it, but the Chicago independent bookstore crawl was on Saturday. Goal is to try to visit 10 bookstores across Chicago in a single day. I think it would make such a fun video for you to create next year! There was literally a group that rented a stretch limo and most of the bookstores served drinks
Try La Chaparrita, El Milagro, Atotonilco, and los comales in little village. I swear los comales tacos in little village taste sooo different from the ones in Pilsen!
la vaca has the worst tacos lmfaooo also coming from a mexican so i’m glad you felt the same way too about it 🤣 check out atotonilco next time for some fireeee street tacos!
La International (Pacos Tacos ) in the corner of 46 and Ashland are the best tacos 🌮 in south side I went there in 1997 one of my friends invite me and just felt in love with them asada, lengua the best tacos regular tortilla and lot of meat 🥩 you won’t be disappointed love them!!!
I visit La Esperanza in Pilsen from St. Louis for their vegan Mexican food...just in case someone is looking for some solid vegan options. They have authentic food.
I’ve been a subscriber for SOOO long! I’m from Chicago and my family owns a Mexican restaurant in Little Village. We’ve been around for over 40 years! I’d absolutely LOVEEEE if you were to come and try out our food ❤️
Another fab post! LOVED it! Can you ship asap to Colorado - margaritas included? Reminds me of the food court one you did where you ate at like six places! Glad you didn't edit the burp out - keep it original girl! Best - from Colorado!
Like what I saw in the video! Also I grew up eating Los Comales, always a great taqueria to go back to. But because of this video I may have to stop by Caton Regio!
I know this is coming in way late...We're coming to Chicago in September and staying at the new L7 Hotel (across from trump tower 😕), Just wondering since you have not car, uber or El?
@@CairaButton thank you so much for answering my questions. We’re going to concerts at the Vic and Aragon ballroom and were worried about how to get there.
The production of this video was great, and I appreciate you choosing some taco spots that haven't been reviewed as much as many others. I wasn't going to like or subscribe, because the video was kinda vanilla/bland until the "' I'll be thinking about that taco for a long time" part. That scene/edit/qoute won me over. It's a great video that was obviously planned, produced, and edited well. Not that my opinion should matter, but I would strongly encourage you to bring more of the personality/silliness (burp, and taco a long time edit) into future videos as it is more fun/entertaining and not so bootleg Kim k.
Yous can tell the people that recommended the list were transplants to Pilsen. Victor Bueno, Maribels, Casa Del Pueblo, El Milagro and Raymonds didn't make the list. This is more of an "East Pilsen" list which people born and raised in Pilsen would never step foot in those places with the exception of Los Comales.
@@CairaButton in no way was this meant to throw shade but usually it's a good idea to ask locals who've lived in the neighborhood or community for a few decades. On the flipside I totally understand your followers are more tourists and are looking for the trendy spots and I respect that.
Try taco Buenos on Cermak and Hoyne in Pilsen, best arrecherra tacos, not that chopped up stuff, they serve it with rice and beans in the taco, grilled jalapeños and delicious salsa, definitely up there as far as best tacos in Chicago.
How can anyone listen to someone that can’t speak Spanish give a good review on traditional delicious Mexican food? Don’t listen to this one and go check for yourself
No more good tacos in Pilsen all the great are gone.. go more south or the vill too many gems in the Southside stay away from the gentrified taco por favor
When you have a no sabo kid making a Mexican taco video you know its gonna be a no sabo taco
Carniceria Maribel! Taco shop in the back of a convenience store. Won best tacos of 2022.
I think you should do a video on the Puerto Rico food in Humboldt Park.
I was just out there in Humbled Park about 3 weeks ago . I want to try Authentic PR food but where can i go without getting shot by a gang banger ?

Good idea. There are other hispanic people, cultures, restaurants here.

I love your first choice. Went there by chance when visiting Chicago a few years ago.
Gentlemen, find yourself a lady who looks at you the way Caira looks at tacos 10:07
I LOVE Los Comales.
Awesome video, really enjoyed it, reminded me of the Vice/Munchies food channel. Gotta try your number 1 Taco.
I visit La Esperanza in Pilsen from St. Louis for their vegan Mexican food...just in case someone is looking for some solid vegan options. They have authentic food.

@@CairaButton Would look forward to see another. This was adorable. Loved the editing and ambience.

The intro editing at 0:05 was incredible :D
A tour of Chinatown or Thai food in Chicago...
“Thai bowl “ is a gem 💎

Colorado has way better Mexican food than anything in Chicago

Can you do a sushi tour ? ❤
Great video, you missed the best place in pilsen. Carniceria Maribel. They got the best tacos in Pilsen in my opinion
May I ask what camera do you use? The quality is really good
Do a taco tasting in San Miguel!

La internacional on Ashland is the best Chicago taco
Carniceria Guanajuato is a good contender
Adding this both to my list
Do another taco tour and other food tours. Always fun.
CAIRA DO WHAT I EAT IN A DAYYYY
Try El Tio Luis in Brighton Park.
I know this is coming in way late...We're coming to Chicago in September and staying at the new L7 Hotel (across from trump tower 😕), Just wondering since you have not car, uber or El?

Highly suggest more footage of the tacos. Not enough.
how is RUBIS not on this list ...easily top 2 best spots in pilsen
There were a couple really highly recommended places that were closed (we were there on a Monday). There will be a part two!
What’s top 1
😋😋😋🌮🌮🌮
you kidding me, you start with la vaca in Pilsen, I knew this video was going to be stupid.
My old neighborhood. Los Comales is terrible.
WHAT?! This hurts my heart
You know the video will be bad when Los Comales is rated as a "best" taco spot in Chicago...
do 5 bowls of ramen LOL
No way. 5 tacos that’s are small 🌮 😂.
Five Dollars for a Taco???????Ridiculous Expensive!!!!!!!!
Agreed! Very pricey taco
I stopped watching it when she said Al pastor and La vaca in a gringo accent 😂😂😂
My abuelita just rolled over in her grave reading this comment
Impossible. There are 100's places , just like hotdogs , pizzarias, so you have to list at least , At Least 20 .
I would love to but my tummy doesn’t have enough space!!!
best tacos in chicago
pacos tacos
atotonilco
raymonds tacos
la guanajuato
el milagro
etc not boujie restaurants that charge you for the place not food
The only good tacos was Los comales tho…you should’ve went to atonilcos real tacos 🌮
There will be a part two!

Vegans & Hipster tacos are not Mexican. Lost me on the 1st stop. 😂
I agree, the first was the worst. They were all uphill from there I promise.
Los Comales tacos are crap. Last stop, end of the night, I’ll regret this in the morning tacos.
Vaca taco is ok rate it a 4 at best she differently don’t know what’s she talking about
Yeahhhh.... No.
How can anyone listen to someone that can’t speak Spanish give a good review on traditional delicious Mexican food? Don’t listen to this one and go check for yourself
#1 I worked my butt off learning Spanish, #2 that does not negate my love/opinions of food
Where can i go get Tacos in chicago and not get sh-ot by some Gang banger ? I live in Naperville now.
