- Well I gotta tell ya this FMS PILATUS PC-21 flew great. This is one of the best if not THE best maidens I have had so far. And that is after the great maiden on my Avios Albatross! This FMS Pilatus flew straight like an arrows and was VERY well behaved! A real joy to fly and maiden! Next to no trim was needed.

FMS Pilatus PC-21 Very fun aircraft in the wind, You need to pay your camera lady more. She is wonderful and your such a lucky guy to have someone who is so talented with a camera. The plane is not for grass ops for sure unless you have a putting green for a runway. I almost wished I could sell my B1-B because I can not lift off unless I have a hard runway with it , grass is too thick here. Tried 3 diffrent clubs now and no luck getting enough ground speed to lift the 13lb model.
Thanks yeah this is my second pilatus and this one isa keeper for sure. Yeah grass and foamies with retracts are not always a good combo.
When you are using a Safe receiver you can adjust the SAFE bank angles up to 90 degrees left and right and 75 degrees up and down in Forward programming SAFE settings.
You are correct in SAFE . but this planes GYRO system is the Reflex system and is not programable that I can see so far. It is supposed to be with the cable they give you but I have never used their version of programing.
I wish FMS would provide a way to adjust the programming of the gyro. I know FMS says each gyro is optimized for that plane. But being able fine tune it for each pilot would be nice.@@FatGuyFliesRC
