The stations look like BART. Warped platforms, exposed to the weather.
Trainmaster Edward Taylor came from NY to show them how to do things. Mr. Taylor had class and so did the people at Metrorail.
Hong Kong and Singapore have the best rail and subway train systems in the world. Go to Hong Kong and do a video Action Kid, i'll go with you.
@actionkid I did that two years ago and I have to tell you it was a unique experience to be sure. The thing was I did it at night which was quite interesting to say the least.
Have you done the dc metro?
Miami looks beautiful. I’m going to take a trip out there.
Lol it's not. Up north is definitely nicer looking. I'm from Florida.
@@angelgregio I’m not gonna lie it is nice up north especially with all the new construction going on. It has pumped new life into cities like Boston, New York, and Washington DC. It’s gorgeous and exciting in those cities.
@@redsox1935 Been through NYC and the surrounding area. Then from there west to east CT, man all those little towns. We don't see that here in FL.
@@angelgregio uh yea go to smaller towns in FL
@@NTEDOG561 Yes. The smaller towns are nice. Just still not as nice looking as up north. Way more history in them too.
Reminds me of the JR rail cars in Tokyo. Nice, clean, and fast.
Great video when are you going to come to DC and ride our trains?
The Metrorail is great on weekdays but on weekends is slow and not on time. I used to ride it alot when I worked in Downtown Miami for 14 years.
The train as is isn’t effective, clean or not - without extension throughout the the north , south and west corridors - no change is seriously made. More rails = more ridership - lack in ridership because of lackluster extensions.
Would love to see your reaction to the London Underground someday!
The announcement voice sounds very similar to some of the the NYC MTA subway announcement voices I've been hearing the past decade or so
Thank you for video wow! Nice 👍
@10:16 that's I-395
Edit, nevermind that's actually just a large entrance and exit to I-95.
US-1 only runs north and south.
80°F is room temperature in South Florida.
Many homes still have no A/C
Ac is low because it’s hotter in Miami
Why that metrorail announcement in miami sounds like the bus announcements in NYC?
Nice ride 👍🏽
If I build my own city it will have every thing Subway, sky train, light rail, cable cars along an artificial river on my man made Island taxis, city buses, and commuter rail and anything you can think of
I got to take a ride on this. You should do one on the Montreal and Toronto subway.
The metro rail is an el train indeed!
It's an EL.
There's really only one line. They built a spur that goes to the airport, and that route is a shortened run. They should have made the spur a shuttle, but instead had it run south. A connection from the airport direct to Tri-Rail would have made more sense.
I'm from a Cleveland, Ohio. Have you been my city? We have a metro system as well. I've rode NYC's, Chicago's, Philly's, & LA's subways.
Exit only ??????
It's a virus preventing measure. That way you're not face to face. 🤷🏼♀️
They perhaps have the exit sign on the door so when people are getting out, they can easily get out instead of the people getting on blocking them.
That metro is extremely fast!
