    You're doing such good service to the people of Miami. As a resident myself, thank you! I would have never thought twice about not taking an uber from MIA until now.

    Thank you so much for your video! It really helped a lot - this would be our first time visiting Miami and we were so confused as to how to get to our hotel without breaking the bank. More of those videos please!!

    The AMTRAK station isn't operating due to a design flaw by FDOT. It seems the passenger platforms for their trains aren't long enough to accommodate them & some of the rail cars would actually be blocking a street intersection nearby. They are trying to come up with solutions including closing that intersection permanently but there are objections to that as well. Enjoyed your video!

      Yeah they spent all that money and only realized it was two short after it was done. The biggest obstacles to a good transport system here is government incompetence.

    This was helpful. It seems there are two types of buses I saw one from 10 months ago which had a overhead storage and fabric seats. Going to try to take this route with two kids and luggage and car seats and stroller. We are from NYC so kids are used to being on the go and nobody besides you mentioned the extra area in the front for more luggage. Thank you!

    Lately been renting a car, pricey but its so much better

    • @JoelFrancoVlogs
      @JoelFrancoVlogs  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Renting a car is more comfortable but annoying if you’re staying in Miami Beach. Metered parking everywhere, extremely limited parking in many areas, sketchy lots that tow if you have expired meter, pricey overnight rates, traffic

    • @jgreed5
      @jgreed5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JoelFrancoVlogs i stick to the city public lots, and I’ve been fortunate with parking. But Ubers add up to at least $100-$200 a visit. Meanwhile rental/parking is $400. Well worth the extra money imo

    • @enjoyslearningandtravel7957
      @enjoyslearningandtravel7957 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jgreed5 depends what you want. If you’d like to drive and don’t mind stress of finding a parking place and driving in a new city and expensive or in the car, then it’s fine or it may be better for family to rent a car.
      But for me or only traveling with one other person the $2.25 bus is the best. I’m enjoying not having to drive in the city. I’m not paying extra for parking for a night at a hotel, which is not cheap.

    Thanks !!! Great way to guide me from international airport to Miami beach....i will be doing an international stop of 10 hrs in Miami airport and I will use this time to see some places here...what bus do I have to take to go to little Habana?.
    Local restaurants to eat simple good homemade Cuban foods, I don't care for fancy and expensive restaurants. Thanks. ❤
    Thanks.

    The problem Amtrak had was that the train is too long and it would had blocked the street. The county spent millions of our tax dollars without researching this first.

    • @JoelFrancoVlogs
      @JoelFrancoVlogs  ปีที่แล้ว

      Try an Uber/Lyft instead of a taxi but yeah it’s probably best with that much luggage.

    Hi Joel. Is the express bus from the airport to miami beach (or vice-versa) a route that always has traffic? Im asking for someone who is flight attendant and might end up relying a lot on this bus to get to work. It would be great to know if this bus is always late or a route with too much traffic. Thanks
