I’ve owned 9 different sport bikes and my 10th bike was a new MT10 , did the cat delete , race filter , some small add ins and it BY far was my absolute favorite bike I ever wonder or rode. SO comfortable , wheelie happy, cross plane crank sound, so much of the R1 but geared down , cruise, and so inexpensive. Man I loved it! Made the mistake of selling it going thru a divorce but shouldn’t have, my daughters LOVED rides and always asked to be taken to school on it instead of the z06 Corvette. Decat the MT10 with its massive intake sounds EPiC! Never had a single isue

I made a huge mistake and sold mine after a few years, of 10 bikes I’ve owned it by far was My favorite . My favorite simple and cheap mod was the cat delete, 21 lb weight drop and a cat delete pipe makes the MT10 sound like Rossi’s R1M. Race filter , flash , EBC pads and sliders and I was done. Such a damn fun bike!

And to all you squids that think it looks easy, it isn't. Most don't have the nads to get even close to the balance point much let ride it for any amount of distance.

If you would have turned the traction control off it would have wheelied a lot easier. Every time you went wide open throttle, I could tell you expected it to come up. Traction control on these are 0-3. It’s hard to tell in the vid what level you were on. But it’s at least level 2 from what I can make out on the display.
You have to have a shop adjust the angle the wheely control intervenes or whatever. Depending on the amount of sensors, it may adjust your traction control equally to the wheely adjust. It did on my MT09. The MT 10 has 2 more sensors thoe.

@@hubert1142 I work at a Ktm/Aprilia dealership… just a few things to note about both brands, Ktm dealer support is 100% and constantly trying to get better and better👌🏾, on the other hand piaggio will take at least half a year to get parts to you and when you try to get in touch with them they never respond back because they feel like there bikes are 100% perfect and will blame the dealer for customer problems etc etc🤦🏾♂️ just my 2 cents… stay away from piaggio products lol I love my 2003 Aprilia RSV 1000 but I don’t respect piaggio so it will be leaving my stable for a Japanese bike lol
Love my Blue 2021 MT-10. Full GPR exhaust, Frame sliders, Corbin and a PUIG wind screen. About to hit my 1000 miles since i bought it month or so ago. Gonna have the tune/flash done. Can't wait for the results!
I got me self a 2020 MT10, just out over 5,100 miles since I bought it left-over new in April this year. Let me know how the tune goes please cuz I want to decat and tune my bike as well
@@lopezdad30 you can do a cat delete without a tune. Your bike will ride a little twitchy for a bit till it figures out the new back pressures. But of course a tune is a good change. I’ll post back when I have time to have mine done
Great bike, I hit Bambi on the exact type of road your on, broke 2 wrist and left leg, 2 cracked ribs and bruised elbow, gotta watch speeding on the narrow wooded roads, lot of road demons
Kinda had the same feeling when I got mine but when you realize what this bike is capable of inside such a cheap package, seating position, power modes, Tcs, Brembo masters, cruise control and the list goes on and on
You need to turn the TC down or off, it’s dropping the nose when you keep trying to wheelie at higher speeds it bucks the rear wheel and limits , turn it off and it’ll come up anytime anywhere . Ikeep hearing rumors the MT10 -SP is coming to the US, anyone know? That’s my ultimate dream, my base MT10 was such a damn blast, the SP has a ton of extra stuff, multimatic electronic suspension , 6 axis IMU , color LeD screen , the R1Mish paint, Akrapovic system , better seat. I’d LoVE an SP but honesty , being able to find used Mt10’s in the $6-7k range I’m considering buying another but used and just do the same upgrades from my last, 22 lb weigh reduction removing that damn cat replace with a cat delete and it sounds moto GP, race filter, Ecu flash, ebc pads and c all it good. They are a blast at the track and so damn quick out of the hole and mid corner you’d be shocked the super sports you can hang with. Also it was by far the cheapest insurance I’ve had on a bike, funny it’s a super naked R1 and they classify it as a cruiser. Lol as someone with spinal compression fractures from a Ducati accident I can shockingly ride the MT10 all day long with no pain . It’s definitely not a beginner bike though for those getting into bikes or Supernakeds lol

When I rode a 2017 I just kept the traction in 1 so I could still get the wheel up but not too abrupt
