Used to think I knew how this song made me feel, but with my wife leaving me for my best friend, and now I'm the one with life spiraling off the mountain, on antidepressants, I can tell you, love really is more powerful than hate or revenge. I've seen them out together a couple of times, not sure if they saw me, but I thought for sure I would have tackled him to the ground and beat him until he was unrecognizable. I thought that if I did that then she wouldn't want him anymore either, but no matter the pain I was going through, I still couldn't cause a moment of pain to her. She knows nothing of how much I cry, how much my emotional pain brings physical pain, how many times I've talked myself off that dangerous curve ahead, how I stay up late thinking "maybe it was that conversation that made her do it," or "If only I'd stopped being friends with him when I had the chance." She will never know that searing red hot pain is, because she's happy, and in love, and I'm alone, and miserable, but even through that, I wanna see her be happy and have a good life.
Try and get a change of scenery. It amazing how that can help. It takes a while, but things get so much better. Be open to new people and new experiences. Been there. Much happier now.

You are an amazing artist. EVERYTIME I hear this song I get chills, and I don't think I've ever heard a song that sounded like this. I wish I could play instruments like you, and when I heard this song on Degrassi I was shocked. I hope you get more famous soon, but if not, it's okay, because your music will always be amazing.

Even though stereotypically he was supposed to be the aggressor, and the sheep was to be little and innocent, things just weren't what they seemed. It was assumed that the wolf didn't have a heart at all because his motives were assumed to be evil, when in reality that dumb sheep played him and broke his heart.
I don't think that's the case the wolf always had bad intentions but he's so consumed in his nature hunting his pray playing his mind games he actually falls in love with the sheep he was going to "use" her as sustenance even the baby they made is just another thing he was going to use he was going to eat the baby until he realized it wasn't his (he probably still did as baby donkey isn't seen after) he's consumed in his lies he's seen driving the dickmobile from start to end when it finally drives off the cliff that's a metaphor his vehicle is broken meaning the way he used to treat people no longer works him driving off the cliff is him losing control of his predatory insitncts because he can no longer live in his own nature the vehicle is broken he can no longer be a dick mobile and is now emotionally stunted I think the donkey is also another thing the wolf just doesn't see as a threat he thought he was going to have his way thought nothing would get past him but the fact it was another innocent being a donkey also makes him doubt himself as a predator the wolf is a metaphor for cheaters/users and manipulators of people that actually fall in love but are so wrapped in their ways they shred everything to pieces trying to get their way and the after affect of realizing what those negative patterns did for them

Thank you for this song that I’ve been listening to for more than 10 years, ever since middle school I’ve dealt with depression and it’s gotten worst but this song somehow soothes it and I can relate to. Taking antidepressants and battling to stay committed because you don’t know who you are anymore. It’s hard and I am struggling every single day with it trying to keep going but sometimes you just get so tired of fighting and just want to give up. It’s easier that way. Life goes on. I don't know your particulars, so the best suggestion I can offer you that will almost surely see your mental health improve is to drop your social media accounts, and replace it with a flip phone that disallows internet access and allows only basic texting. And I suggest you buy the paper version of Jonathan Haidt's book The Anxious Generation (and buy it, don't steal it), and bade your parents do the same (and all of your friends while you're at it). Within this book you will read how social media has essentially - and intentionally - zombified your generation, seeing you rife with anxiety and depression. But there is a way out. Man, I know everybody had the experience of hearing it for the first time during Degrassi’s casino episode. There was only a handful of Degrassi songs that could make me cry, and this one was it.. Amazing video! The song perfectly matches with the theme of the animation and it really leaves you thinking. Just a few wonders: Was the fox's cutting of the tail supposed to symbolize how he became the sheep? and Do the license plates on both have any meaning. The sheep's car sais B1NUB4 and the Wolf's B1NU2. My guess would be Been You Before and Been You Two. Maybe they are just placeholders and don't mean anything.

So, to recap: This wolf is playing a sheep so he can sleep with her and eat their young. Then realizes she cheated on him with the donkey. As he goes to kill her he realizes he actually fell in love with her, and couldn't hurt her. In short: the tables were turned with out him even suspecting it? Am I right? I'm dying to know the meaning of the song.
I think the wolf did intend to eat the babies right up until he knows she slept with the donkey. He was overcome with jealousy and rage because he loved her, but he didn't realize his own feelings until he found himself unable to pull the trigger.

this song is way to underrated
Man, I know everybody had the experience of hearing it for the first time during Degrassi’s casino episode. There was only a handful of Degrassi songs that could make me cry, and this one was it.. I truly love it and I hear what the artist is saying in the description, it sucks, but at the end of the day stick to your conviction all I can do is support ✊🏾

Thanks brother. Or sister. People are always claiming they want to really "know" their artists. All the social media gurus talk about getting to "know" your fans, blah, blah, blah. A real artist is found within their art. There is no deeper expression of that individual. There is nothing more to know. If you want to know them - really know them - buy their music.
The less money made from music = more time spent by the musician on not-music in attempts to make money to make music = less music in the music because he/she had to spend so much time on the not-music to make money to make the music = regressive loop = "knowing" the artist less and less = the proliferation of not-music "musicians" = a proliferation of not-music musician consciousness = slowing/suppressing of emerging consciousness the world over (individually and collectively)

this song is so nostalgic for me, the first time I heard it was right after my first break up when I was 17. I caught my girlfriend kissing another man, totally crushed me. no more than a week later I heard this song. I don't remember this video being available in HD back when I first watched it years and years ago!
So, to recap:
This wolf is playing a sheep so he can sleep with her and eat their young. Then realizes she cheated on him with the donkey. As he goes to kill her he realizes he actually fell in love with her, and couldn't hurt her.
In short: the tables were turned with out him even suspecting it?
Am I right? I'm dying to know the meaning of the song.
I think the wolf did intend to eat the babies right up until he knows she slept with the donkey. He was overcome with jealousy and rage because he loved her, but he didn't realize his own feelings until he found himself unable to pull the trigger.
