Hey Chirs, Thanks for these videos, it is a good idea to take the model and features of the car into consideration when you are creating videos. For instance not all Rouge models support wireless Android Auto (AA), even those from 2023, unless there is something I am missing. I guess only those with option of wireless charging support wireless AA as mine and my friends Rouge SV 2023 are asking for USB cable. Also worth mention that only those phones with Android Auto version 11 and higher are supported for wireless AA.

This is awsome, however my phone screen locks and it closes out all my APPs. Then I have to keep unlocking it to listen to Spotify or Nav.

interesting you might need to delay the lock of your screen

I am having problem connecting my Mercedes gla 200 which I purchased in 2023. I can connect Bluetooth to my Mercedes and I can play Spotify. No issue. But I can use Google map unless I plug into a USB (a type c to type c). Can you help?

Hey Chris, how is the connection for the wireless AA? Couple of friends of mine have wireless Apple Carplay and they say the connection isn't great.

Doesnt the phone need a WI-Fi hot spot?? In your presentation...the prompts that you went through states that it needs a wi-fi connection. If the vehicle doesnt have a hot spot...you must use the cord. Most manufacturers have a trial period of free Wi-Fi...usually 3 months. After that you have to pay...usually to Verizon to maintain that hot spot. If your subscription runs out...then you have to return to the corded connection. If I'm incorrect ...please let me know.
