    If you read the reviews you know I had a pretty upsetting review about this product, if you remember I had several problems. I owe this gentleman and apology. I repurchased the adapter, this time I read the instructions and it works perfect. Here's what I did wrong I did not unpair my phone from my car radio, before I paired the phone to the Motorola device. In my review I complained about several compatibility problems, this all happened because I did not unpair my phone from the radio first.🤓🤓🤓🤓

    This thing is awesome. I spent 400 bucks on a kenwood deck and was extremely aggravated that I didn't notice the android auto was WIRED android auto. I dealt with that for a week doing doordash and man was it a hassle! I ran across your video and immediately bought one and was so glad I did. This thing is truly awesome! Placement of the USB on your particular car makes a big difference, I have a '19 WRX, so the USB is in the center console and this mounts very nicely inside and out of the way.

  • @60svet30

    The short cord shouldn't be a problem. Just buy another cord of your desired length with the correct male/female plugs on each end (i.e., a USB "extension cord) and place the dongle wherever you wish.

    • @sandqwert
      @sandqwert 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      True, but the fact that's fixed it's an issue for me. I mean, if you have issues with that short cord, you are basically in trouble. If it were removable, you could simply replace it.
      I've bought a 1.5 meters extension so that I do not put any "pressure" or "excessive bend" on that cable.

    I went the cheaper route, I bought a crappy rubber phone case, cut it in half, then bought a magnetic USB adapter and cable. I put the magnetic usb type C adapter into my phone, then took the lower half of the rubber phone case and attached half a popsicle stick to the bottom, then connected the other end of the magnetic usb cable (type c side) to the popsicle stick, then put double sided tape on the bottom of the case, and put it on my wireless charger. I can now quickly slide my phone into the case, the magnets make contact, and it immediately brings up android auto, technically not wireless, but I don't have to plug something in each time I get in the car.

      You can't. Depending on your car's configuration, you could set AA to not auto-show on the head unit, but AA will be launched on the phone and the link will be made. Once that's established, if you want to interact with music or the phone from your car's OS, it will open your music or phone app on AA.
      Which makes sense, right?.
      Take it this way: what the MA1 does is simple removing the need for a cable, other than that, it's AA. So whatever you can do with Wired AA, you will be able to do it here.
