Photographing an Abandoned Factory in the Freezing Cold

- I rode my old Trek MTB to meet up with some friends and photograph a giant abandoned factory in Akron, Ohio. This place is like a time capsule though many the scrappers and tweakers have hauled out most of the metal now. As a history nerd I was interested in the office spaces. I was shooting with my Canon EOS R5 and 24-105 f/4L. Most of the video clips are shot with my GoPro Hero Black 11.

Thanks!
cool shots! cool soundtrack !
Thanks!
That was great Tim.. Would love to have seen more of what was in the rolls of drawings and schematics on the top cabinet.. Years ago the brother and I had the job of the shut down of the CSR sugar factory down in Perth West Oz, that was a similar situation, they kicked everyone out and shut the gates leaving a hundred year history time capsule ..
That is the stuff I was interested in - I took some cool photos that showed the machines they made and some cool old computer programming cards with slides on them. The tweakers and scrappers are not interested in that stuff but the offices are what I like to see. It looks like the records here just went back to the 60s. This isn't one of the super old rubber factories - I'm guessing the company moved here at some point.
That was a fun trip. I'm curious, what sling bag are you using? Looks like an Alpaka, maybe?
Thanks!
It is a Peak Design sling. I’ve had a few of their bags - they are really great for being active.
