This theme played in my head when Dedue reunited with Dimitri in the BL path after Dimitri believed Dedue had fallen in battle after freeing him from Cornelia's execution.
It will forever be Jagen and Marth's theme to me... "Surely? Why do words of such conviction smack so much of uncertainty when spoken? Not surely, Jagen. Assuredly. Gra will pay for all their acts. Today, though, allow me to wallow in this pain, to feel every awful twist of it. I *never* want to forget."
Geoffrey:Princess...I..... Elincia:Nothing more needs be said. Soren:Something DOES need to be said! If you and the other retainers were trying to buy time for Elincia, WHY IN GOD'S NAME DID YOU SKEWER YOURSELVES ON THOSE LANCES?!?! Lucia:Geoffrey.....you're so brave.....Elincia could not have a better guard. Bastian:'Tis true, 'tis true. Soren:WE SERIOUSLY NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS! WHAT THE HELL WAS YOUR PLAN?! Geoffrey:I am not deserving of this praise. I am a knight and nothing more. Soren:I-....screw it. Green Units.
Not for nothing are allies usually referred to as the "Useless Green Units" by the majority of the Fire Emblem fanbase :P I'm usually much more annoyed by them ruining all my perfect strategies though than them throwing themselves at the enemy and getting pointlessly killed.
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is available for Gamecube, not Wii. It's a somewhat older game, 2-3 years or something like that. But you may still find it in the game stores.
this also plays when you recruit Kieran, I was always hoping for a remake of A Knights Oath, I Didn't know it existed then i went "HOLY SHIIIIIIIT!!!!!!"
Even though this song plays later in the game with Geoffrey, I always associate this track with Kieran and his first encounter with Elincia. Where he swore to serve her regardless of what happens, a knights oath.
This song should have played in 3 houses for the blue lions as a victory theme to make it a callback to fe1 and fe11 in the chapters post second battle of the eagle and lion
I swear...this series gets TOO LITTLE attention. *cue song* Why must great tracks like this go so unnoticed? TO ARMS, I SAY!! WE MUST STORM THE GREAT FORTRESS OF HYRULE!! Men, let us take some of their fame for our own series! Rally all troops and prepare to charge!! Lol, jk jk, but still, this really is under-realized art right here.
It makes sense, it is a great track with its somber, but hopeful, and determined sound. One fitting for a knight charging out into battle with honor to defend their homeland, regardless of it being a losing battle and their inevitable death.
This song so perfectly embodies classic Fire Emblem. I'm glad that the franchise is still alive, but I sorely miss when the game wasn't anime waifu dating simulator and often had a more serious tone.
Even though this song plays later in the game with Geoffrey, I always associate this track with Kieran and his first encounter with Elincia. Where he swore to serve her regardless of what happens, a knights oath.
Oh man, memories of FE7, FE9 and FE12! Wish there was a mash-up of all the versions of this song. It would probably sound great. Opening three different tabs is kind of clunky.
Well, FE7 has a version called A Knight's Oath. That's as far as I know as far as memory recall. I can't recall correctly if FE6 has one, it's been so long and I've listened to the OST a couple times, and nothing else is jogging to memory at the moment. Sorry to disappoint.
I honestly like how it sounds in FE 7 better. This one has better instruments obviously but it sounds more triumphant. FE7 made it sound more like a song for when your about to go face the final boss.
This is "A Knight's Loyalty" of FE 7, it played when I recruited Harken, and also various times in Hector Mode when Oswin was significant to the story.
10 months later, the campaign known as Awakening has finished! We have done it men, we have become heroes to all video-game playing men! We have released a game that has been branded one of the greatest of this generation!
STILL one of the best parts of fire emblem for me was hearing my favorite soundtrack from the GBA games get a full damn orchestral remake. UUGH it was glorious...
If you speed it up 1.25x, it's more or less the same speed as the 3 other versions of this song (that are more or less the same): Victory! from FE1, A Knight's Oath from FE7, and After the Battle from FE12. 1.25x doesn't quite sound as good as those do, since everything extra in this one builds on how much slower it is. Still my favorite PoR song, with Bittersweet Victory as a close second.
It really is a shame. Intelligent Systems used to remix music from earlier games in their latest FEs, but that trend has stopped in their modern games since Awakening and beyond (excluding the Gaiden remake on 3DS and amiibo).
@Evilgood1 No This Theme Is Not Just Kierans Theme. This Theme Is Again Played Without Him When Geoffery Meets Princess Elincia Its A Theme For All Knights
It actually plays several times during Shadow Dragon, namely after certain chapters where the heroes have won, but the victory was bittersweet in ways.
a remix of one of the best FE songs ever. In FE7 I'm always a little unhappy that Wallace is so useless when you re-recruit him because his theme is so epic >_>
No I don't care if Geitz is better. No I don't care if Karel is cool. I'm recruiting Wallace and Harken and leaving the game open for however it takes me to get sick of Knight's oath to finish the map.
@clankb2o5 Bah.... it represents more than fucking Wallace. I never liked wallace and I love the song. A knight's oath is also the oldest, to the best of my knowledge. It's also Oswin and Vaida's theme.
Path of Radiance great but Radiant Dawn? it fell short, but again it represents us once we reach our radiance we eventually lose it unless we keep working for it, we all reach our best and then drop down, then we need to find it again
*listens to this piece* Yes... time to add another horse rider to the my OP team. This game was really fun. I had a set up of four paladins (who all had bows), two falcon knights, two wyvern lords, and a troubadour. All I needed to do was use the boots on Ike and I had an unstoppable blitz team that could handle anything. Which is why they probably nerfed paladins so much in Radiant Dawn... I'm still never going to play this game in a defensive way. Path of Radiance rewards and structures map design on blitz strategies after the first half of the game... which is why bonus exp in the next game is heavily nerfed, and I think the maps are much smaller by comparison.
This might be an old comment, but I will still argue than Bexp is still just as good in Radiant Dawn, especially when you start capping stats. The system where you always got three stats in a level up was completely broken, and almost as insane as a Bexp dump on Marcia/Jill.
Uh, so how was this uploaded in 2008 when the right-hand side has 3 characters whom respective games would not be out for another 4 years (and wouldn't be revealed for another 3), and two of them are with artwork that was only revealed two months ago?
zelosq Ah yes, the cover of Path of Radiance, complete with Ludger Kresnik from Tales of Xillia 2 (2012) and Robin+Lucina from Awakening (2013). *Literally the first 3 seconds of your video are time paradox- Tell me your secret to time travel.
TG Valkyrur You were referring to the channel teaser all this time! I didn't understand the problem at first. Oh, you also forgot about Lana from Hyrule Warriors (2014) and the Artworks of Robin and Lucina, to be specific, are from the new Super Smash Bros. (2014). Jokes aside, I simply used TH-cam's InVideo-Programming on all my videos. This video originially had 03:04 minutes of length. The extra 3 seconds in the beginning is a channel teaser I literally added only 4 days ago. Much like TH-camrs like omegaevolution, I simply wanted to have my own channel teaser. I chose my most favourite gaming characters to be displayed in the picture. It's also the reason why you see the popup of "Vorgeschlagen von zelosq" in the bottom left (probably translates to "Recommended by zelosq" if you have an english setting) and my watermark on the top right! All part of InVideo-Programming! The advantage of the teaser is simple. I can change the teaser whenever I want without having to completely reupload videos! :)
AKA A Knight's Oath from Fe 7.
AKA Victory from FE 1.
Nice catch, I missed that.
Zangamarth AKA After the battle from Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon
@@willowjessicagehman and the blade of light
AKA the best rendition of the song.
This theme played in my head when Dedue reunited with Dimitri in the BL path after Dimitri believed Dedue had fallen in battle after freeing him from Cornelia's execution.
3 houses should've had a version of this tbh
It fits so well !
TH should have a version of this theme but only for the blue lions, they all are knights, even Felix
The moment I heard this song in this game I instantly thought of Wallace from FE7. Didn't know it was also in shadow dragon and FE1 though
Don't forget Harken and Vaida!
You also hear this when Isadora comes to Eliwood's aid, on behalf of Elenora.
And 3
To me it happens the other way around, I though this was from the Archanea games wasn't present in FE7
This makes me think of a great army marching home from a narrow victory, whittled down to only a seventh of her original forces.
FE1 flashbacks incoming...
For JUSTICE!
Geoffrey:Princess...I.....
Elincia:Nothing more needs be said.

When those same green units ruining your strategies are recruitable, though, as was with Geoffrey...

Dammit,
Geoffrey...
Metroid and Fire Emblem are the best game series ever! Who's with me?
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is available for Gamecube, not Wii. It's a somewhat older game, 2-3 years or something like that. But you may still find it in the game stores.
Man I forgot how epic this song was.
It invokes feelings of victory but, at a cost: a loss but a glimmer of hope
this also plays when you recruit Kieran, I was always hoping for a remake of A Knights Oath, I Didn't know it existed then i went "HOLY SHIIIIIIIT!!!!!!"
Even though this song plays later in the game with Geoffrey, I always associate this track with Kieran and his first encounter with Elincia. Where he swore to serve her regardless of what happens, a knights oath.
No, this is Kieran's theme. It played for him half a game before Geoffrey ever appeared.
This song should have played in 3 houses for the blue lions as a victory theme to make it a callback to fe1 and fe11 in the chapters post second battle of the eagle and lion
That first time when you heard it when meeting Wallace was.....amazing.
It was even better when Marth and Jagen were talking at the end of Shadow Dragon's prologue. Manly tears can be shed.
When I first heard this in PoR, I went into nostalgia mode.......and I'm in it right now too....
CRIMEAS FIFTH PLATOON KIERAN SEE ME AND TREMBLE :p

There is so many different emotions mixed in this song..
This may be nothing special for you, but this song is incredibly powerful at my ears.
This song so perfectly embodies classic Fire Emblem. I'm glad that the franchise is still alive, but I sorely miss when the game wasn't anime waifu dating simulator and often had a more serious tone.

Based on "Kingdom Seized" from the very first game. Love this track, and that one even more
Best remix of A Knight's Oath/For Tomorrow's Sake
Even though this song plays later in the game with Geoffrey, I always associate this track with Kieran and his first encounter with Elincia. Where he swore to serve her regardless of what happens, a knights oath.

Kyo Yamato I very well may be wrong, and responding late, but for what it's worth:
FE7- A Knight's Oath
FE9- Vow
FE12- After the Battle
Don't forget Victory! from FE1.

Ike and Stefan walk into a bar. The bar is destroyed minutes later by the drunken fight they are having.
This one feels less heartbreaking and more... regal, I guess.
I honestly like how it sounds in FE 7 better. This one has better instruments obviously but it sounds more triumphant. FE7 made it sound more like a song for when your about to go face the final boss.
It isn't really any person's theme in particular. It represents the Crimean knights in general.
This is "A Knight's Loyalty" of FE 7, it played when I recruited Harken, and also various times in Hector Mode when Oswin was significant to the story.
Best version of this song.
A remix from the first Fire Emblem. Its very good too.

One of the best tracks of this game, is just too awesome!
1 of my 3 favorite songs
Which are the other 3? ;-)
@Arthelin Yeah, I like this remix, but there's something about A Knight's Oath.
@CrouchingCrab
I'll never forget that day I recruited wallace.
Such a fine gentleman, and a mighty General. He will never be forgotten.
God that was hard to find.
They took a classic theme and cranked it up to eleven!

Wow
...the music that plays when Marth gets the Fire Emblem in Shadow Dragon?
It actually plays several times during Shadow Dragon, namely after certain chapters where the heroes have won, but the victory was bittersweet in ways.
cool song, i love it. it should be in ssmb.
A tune that's been around since the original game, and one of the most pretty and well fitting tunes to its chosen scenes. :)
"A Knight's Oath"? Last place I expected to see this one.
Castle Seized! (FE1)
This theme is so epic we need it more per saga ! Fidelity of a knight towards his Lord !
GEOFFREY WE LOVE YOU
A KNIGHT'S OATH !
This music was from Fire Emblem : 7 !
It's actually from FE1.
Yeah I checked afterwards :p
It's actually from FE1/3/11/12
Love it so much =D
One of my favorites. I like Together, We Ride! As well.
I think its time i play this game again :D. Really need to get a DS so i can play the new(er) one.
I think this is the rearranged version of "A Knight's Oath" Blazing Sword. I notice the theme
They're both based on "Kingdom Seized" from the first Fire Emblem. Awesome tune
a knights oath!
@zelosq It's actually closer to 5 years old. Hino, your best bet is to try used game stores or Ebay. But trust me, it's worth it.
@NerissaVal I agree. I think FE 7 is my favorite game but still, I do think this version sounds better merely because it isn't so old and low quality.
When I was in high school that is.
@CrouchingCrab it was also the special part in the game , wallace was one of my favorites , but he grew weaker later in the game :(
@Patrick3465 its acutually super smash bros melee thats what ssbm means and also ike is in ssbb which is super smash bros brawl
